Australian bowlers bowled very well. Lyon and Boland's bowling in particular was excellent. But my expectations from the Indian batsmen in this match were much higher. Since India had enough overs, if they batted consistently without taking too much pressure, the result of the match could have been different.

Moreover, after batting for a long time in the T20 format, their focus became the focus of the T20 style. Because of this they lose their complete concentration in the test and they leave a sign that their concentration is distracted when they come to the end. After finishing the T20, India got enough time to practice and for professional cricketers, it is not a matter of playing T20 for two months in any league and not performing well in Test matches. In the final match against Australia, we saw the batting weakness clearly for India. In contrast, Australia were consistent. This match became very difficult for India in the first innings when India were all out after 173 runs in the first innings. If India could have equalized the gap of 173 runs in the first innings or could have been ahead by some runs, then they would not have to collect an additional 173 runs in the second innings, as a result of which India would have definitely been ahead in the second innings, but because of the deficit in the first innings, they were basically thrown out of the match.

Most of the Indian fans were expecting better performance than this, but sadly things were gone in wrong way for the batting, and they lost this match badly which is surely not good thing for the fans because after having good record against Australia fans were expecting better performance and fighting end of this final but they all bundle out cheaply and give another final badly as well.
Yesterday when we have Kohli and Rahane at crease many were expecting better start of the day and specially good batting from Kohli, but Boland one over break many hearts and give Australia easy win after dominating throughout all five days in second inning bowlers were good, but batting were not good in both innings.

Kohli and Rahane batted well on day four. Their partnership was quite good. And so many like me had hoped that this partnership would last. Both the batsmen will perform well on the fifth day as well and India will go on to win. But this is not the case. From the start of the fifth day, we saw only the dominance of the Australian bowlers. Indian batsmen may not be able to score even 100 runs. They batted very badly. It was the first match after the end of IPL. No one expected such a bad performance from the Indian batsmen in this match. Team India cannot be considered favorite for the title in the upcoming ODI World Cup as well.

Have no idea what Gill was thinking when he posted that tweet about his controversial catch. He has a very promising future since his batting skills are top-notch, but he needs to think more maturely.

These sorts of silly mistakes could cost him his career. He should have let out his frustration privately.

This sort of bravado is not going to cost his career but surely he came out as an immature guy. He's young so one can hope in the future, he'll try to control his emotion and not react abruptly.

Otherwise, he doesn't strike me as a brat. In fact, overall he looks grounded to me.

This was very understandable in my opinion. It was obviously a very frustrating moment to see the decision go against them. This was going to go the other way easily if the third umpire wanted. I honestly do not see anything wrong with his expression of frustration that he had

But at the same time, I also understand why he shouldn’t have done that. Free speech is history. So he should have been a lot more careful about what he’s talking about. At the same time, it was also not like this tweet was going to change anything. They have already lost the match and more importantly, the decision had already been taken by the third umpire. So there is actually no benefit to posting this. Probably he is too young to understand that everything is not fair in the real world. Life is unfair.
