Jaspreet Bhumrah is back! He has been added to the ODI squad that will be playing against Srilanka. Now before IPL Bhumrah is fit and fine while he before the T20WC he wasn't. That too much of professionalism for league series and the franchise but less towards the country.

Jasprit Bumrah's bowling action is very susceptible to injuries and he is simply unable to keep up with the heavy workload in the IPL. The best thing for him to do would be to concentrate on any one format. Either he can concentrate on T20/ODI, or he can focus on the test matches. Given his history of serious injuries, it may be better for him to take a break from test matches. And it is very important for him to get in to the action only when he is 100% fit. Given the nature of his injury, it will be better for him to take proper rest.

No absolutely not in my view, because if you are true cricket supporter you will not called him waste of time and you will not be bored watching test cricket match, in this format player abilities has been examined if they were classy player they will perform because most of the player failed to perform in this format, and it's the real format of Cricket, you mostly know that when cricket start the first and real format for cricket was test format, after the T20 and ODI format introduce in the cricket world.

Very few know the real cricket. The test format cricket shows who is the best cricketer. If have got difference scoring 220 runs in 20 overs and 300 runs in 90 overs. There is no doubt that cricket has not adapted to the world around it. There is usually a time limit for most other games. But in the case of cricket, the time limit is not a major issue. It is for this reason that cricket is also suffering a lot at the moment. The problem with cricket is that it cannot be played on a time-based basis.

In terms of popularity, cricket short forms are more interested. Because of this, T20 ‍and ODI formats are more profitable with the number of visitors. Now a days some countries are not agreed to play cricket they just consider it is time waste game, this is the main reason for cricket not to flourished all the world. The same case behind the people of Test cricket today. However, it is not possible to say what will happen in future. However, Test cricket is very important to create a real cricket player. If the new generation doesn't want it or there is no demand, this Test cricket can be extinct in the future.

Right now, as things are going we have no time for the T20 matches as well because I check mostly peoples just check updates and spending their time for their other activities which are more important very few peoples are having time for watching all complete games because life is going difficult day by day due to many factors and things are not easy for many like us those are fighting hard for survival while things are going in decline and many big companies are cutting jobs and having other problems as well.

With this all right now most chances we will have all three formats in progress because ICC will never take any chance for cutting things which bring mess up for hem but hopefully after 10 to 15 years we will have just seven or eight teams in test matches with nearly 20 to 24 will be able to stay into T20 and ODI will also fight hard for survival because things looking not good for this format as well.

Really! You watch 5 days. For me this is really difficult. As I said in my previous post addiction can lead us to do this and you also mentioned that. And this is good that you are now decreasing your addiction.

And you are right in your confess too. We should move to T20 matches and I personally enjoy much the T20 matches instead of test matches.

During the late 90s and early 2000s, I used to watch a lot of test matches. Back then I was a student and had lots of free time. And also, we didn't had much options. International cricket was played by 8-9 countries and there were no franchise leagues. The situation has completely changed in the last 2 decades or so. We have much more options to chose from. Now at any given point, 2-3 international matches and close to half a dozen franchise league matches will be ongoing at the same time. Two decades ago we didn't had this choice.

Really! You watch 5 days. For me this is really difficult. As I said in my previous post addiction can lead us to do this and you also mentioned that. And this is good that you are now decreasing your addiction.

T20 is the main reason people are loosing interest in linger formats like ODI and test format . ODI format Is very interesting to watch and cricket fans watch all seven hours of game .
Yes test cricket is longer and difficult to follow in this time . People usually follow the scores and stats and get to know about their team.

ODI format and t20 format are very different. Because in T20 format you have to collect runs very quickly. On the other hand, in the ODI format, the batsmen have to survive and build big runs gradually.

Each format of cricket have got its importance. With test format cricket, it is the pure form of cricket which is the parameter to know the real ability of a cricketer. ODI is something different where the player has to be very precise in his/her gameplay. With T20 format cricket it is like a gamble, because in no time the match scenario changes.

One day match won't be end soon. If we think about future then the 50 over game may change a bit. Because people are getting busy day by day. The patience of sitting for 7-8 hours will be very difficult for the new generation. But we all know that there will be no change in the present time. Such discussions have been around for a long time in Test cricket as well. So, there will be no change in ODI cricket soon. In my opinion that all formats having its own entertainment factor, and you can't skip this all quickly with check ICC already having auctions and things will be gone as they are working even I have feeling we will have few changes in coming years, but it's not going to happen very quickly it needs long time with most chances we will have good popularity in T20i and other formats will be reduced with few countries and just with one or two events yearly or like FIFA World Cup for every four years.

But, no one going to skip these all as it needs for the business purpose with many franchise leagues will be in but most chances few will be recognized as top like we have in UEFA because commercialism is surely coming and life is going very fast but still can't do changes drastically.

Pakistan vs New Zealand, 1st ODI


Tomorrow will be another competitive match between Pakistan and New Zealand. Two Tests were held between them, both were finished in draw. Betting sites shows Pakistan ahead but I can't say New Zealand is weak in any way. I think the Pakistan team is slightly favored to play at Pakistan's home ground. But that can not be a big distance. But since both the teams have good cricketers, it is difficult to say who will win.
