When the Test match between Pakistan and New Zealand was underway, it was assumed that Pakistan would probably have the advantage of home ground. But the picture on the field was different. There were two draws but those were tough for Pakistan. But still it was thought that maybe Pakistan can win the ODI series even if they don't whitewash but that didn't happen either. At one point they lost two consecutive ODIs and also lose the series.

There is no doubt Pakistan having home advantage but their current off the field issues and poor captaincy and issues in selection all were against them which is a bigger cause of their defeat in this ODI series lost most chances now in next few days we will have big changes like Babar Azam can lose his captaincy with now they are going to have two captains in red ball and white ball which will help to off load pressure and then Babar Azam will also able to perform better in batting which is most important for the Pakistan right now because they are going down in this department just because of their selection process which is not helpful for them and their batsmen.

As after this series they have long time for doing changes and bringing better system for their team which will help them for having better results because in last few months they are going badly down specially in red ball format.

The series decider match between Pakistan and New Zealand was entertaining. New Zealand got a hard fought victory. Although there was confusion towards the end of the match, New Zealand succeeded from that position. In the entire of the New Zealand match Glenn Phillips was unbeaten on 63 off 42 balls. New Zealand won the series by 2 wickets in his good batting. At the start of the game, it looked like Pakistan could win but it didn't happen. The Pakistani bowlers failed to pick up two wickets and New Zealand won the match on that occasion. All in all this ODI series has been quite enjoyable.

Yes Pakistan tried hard in their last ODI,  they gave a good target and put pressure on Newzealand but they somewhat escaped that pressure and Glenn Phillips helped his team towards victory.  A good match played between them Newzealand has a very stable balling and batting side they deserved this win.
Pakistan batting side was unstable only 3 batsman scores runs fakhar zaman,  Rizwan and Agha Salman  other than that all batsman couldn't enter double digit.

Surely Pakistan try their best even they lost two quick wickets after this Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan have big partnership which helps them for having score like 280 which is not bad and during bowling their bowlers and run-outs helps them for having chance to win, but GP was big difference in this all who play one of the best inning of his career and give vital win to his team with series win as well, and they are ending this tour on happy note.

For me Pakistan's change in bowling with Naseem Shah drop and bringing Mohammad Hasnain was not good idea specially while you are playing final game and your bowler is doing good job, this was vital for them and big cause for the lost of this match and series.

Its no doubt a very poor performance by Pakistan against Aus, England and NZ. There is no test win which is alarmingly for domestic cricket in Pakistan. I think its mainly because Pakistan cricket is focusing mainly on T20 format and very little attention is paid to ODI and Test format. ODI world cup is coming up next and I dont think Pakistan will be able to perform better there.

A big reason for that is Pakistan not being able to perform consistently and depending on certain players too much. It is going to take a little time for Pakistan to fix these problems. But I believe that Pakistan will be able to eventually fix those problems.

Performance of Babar as a player is extraordinary but not as a captain. After every Test, ODI and T20 match we listen Babar has made this and that record, while team is busy making terrible records.
Pakistan is not playing much ODIs so there is no clear picture about how they are performing in ODIs. Last year they played only 9 ODIs (3 against Australia, 3 against Netherland and 3 against West Indies) they won all three series.
I think Babar will retain captaincy of T20 and ODI, as there performance in these two formats is somewhat "satisfactory" when compared with Test.

But then again - winning and loosing is the part of game. I think after the departure of Ramiz Raja - the team is not stable at all. Even Babar Azam is not sure if he will remain captain or not.

A big achievement from Bangladesh Women's team. I've been searching around for the match between Australia Women and Bangladesh Women. To be clear, it was U-19 Women's Worldcup match and Bangladesh Women have won it. Australia Women have won the toss and elected to bat, and made 130 runs losing 5 wickets. Bangladesh women team have reached the target in 18 overs losing 3 wickets which is a big win.

A big achievement from Bangladesh Women's team. I've been searching around for the match between Australia Women and Bangladesh Women. This is obviously a great win for Bangladesh women. and because this win came from the under 19 team of Bangladesh women I think we can say that the future of Bangladesh women's cricket is actually good. The talent that Bangladesh women has in cricket is absolutely unbelievable.

Beating the Australian team is not an easy job at all.  Bangladesh under 19 played really well. They are showing some good hope. And there is a lot of talking going on about the change of authority in the Bangladesh cricket board. If the authority does end up changing I think it will be better for Bangladesh women as well. Because improvement is going to be better and quicker.

I hope to see both Ishan Kishan and SKY playing today. Today's match would be very important for the Srilankan side and they would try their level best to win it. Definitely this will be a chance for India to do experiments. If they make Ishan Kishan play instead of Subhman Gill, then we will see a left and right opening combination which is better than the current opening batting combination. KL or Shreyas might be dropped and Surya will definitely get a chance in the squad. Now the bowlers are doing marvellous in the series. So I don’t think they will make any changes. Let’s see what will be Sri Lanka’s way of approach for today’s match.

At present Sri Lanka is trying but somehow they are not able to overcome that situation. Defeats in two consecutive ODIs have reduce of their confidence. The last match of this series will be held today. Just one winning can save Sri Lanka form the white wash so today they will try to win the match as possible. Indians bowlers and batsman are already in the good form and if the play well that wouldn't be any surprise for us. Yes if Sri lankan team play a better game and give a tough time to the Indian team it will be a surprise.

However the Sri lankan team should try the best to win this match and not allow India to clean sweep the series. From the Indian prospective they will try to win the series by 3-0 thereby showing their dominance over the Sri lankan team.
