Yeah, you are right about local talent and i'm in favor of 5 foreign player in the playing XI, may be it could become reality in next 5-7 years when IPL expand to 12-14 teams, may be? Yes, There is a possibility of franchise recruiting or ending up with average or mediocre talent but i look at this differently. The next expansion to 12 teams may also take a similar duration. Even now there are a lot of doubts about whether the 10-team format will work out properly in 2022. IMO, a better option would be to add a second tier league with 10 more teams, with the top most team being promoted to the IPL (and the lowest ranking side of the IPL relegated).

English Premier League is completely different from Indian Premier League we can't compare these because they have massive market and their few policies are also not applicable here in Indian Premier League like in few clubs they have no local player mostly dominant by foreign players and there are no restrictions from their The FA about anything. Here, you can't play more than 4 foreign players.

For me, it is good idea if they like to go all through English Premier League then surely they will be able to have massive revenue and exposure will also very big instead of current with nearly 16 to 20 teams, but it's need some very long time as well as 5 to 6 months which kill all other cricket.

First the smaller boards are not willing to unite or stand on a stance. Secondly even they combine together, they won't be able to generate the funds to support the cricket.

Ramiz Raja, the chairman of Pakistan cricket board, told in an recent interview, that if ICC stop funding our board PCB, the cricket board will collapse. So in such situation , no one can speak against the policies of ICC.

Some of the suggestions are good. Senior players like Virat and Rohit hardly takes part in domestic cricket these days, and that reduces the overall viewership and fan interest. The addition of foreign players can slightly reverse that trend. But I don't know whether the state associations would agree to this suggestion. At least a section would argue that cricket in smaller countries should not be developed at the expense of promising young cricketers in India. And for players from countries like England and Australia, the low salary will be an issue. The match fee for experienced players in Ranji Trophy is around ₹240,000 per 4-day match ($3,200).

Well as of now no board is looking towards icc as they know how worthless icc is after the formation of big 3. Everyone board knows his survival is to stick with one of big 3. Even players are not listening to boards since they are getting huge money in IPL.

Due to this Covid-19 not only cricket boards many other sports Associations and businesses are suffering very badly one of my friend starts a small shop just in January 2020, and we have very long lock down which hurt him very badly, and now he is already out of this business and looking for some job or any stuff. Now you can imagine what happening we will have some after shocks as well but hopefully now in next few months things could be better, and we will be able to have some better and positive things which was happening back in 2018 and 2019 could be back for all of us.

Now after this T20 world cup many events coming and few teams also going for bilateral series which will bring revenue and better financial opportunities.

The other big boards (ECB, CA and CNZ) are not as powerful as the BCCI, but they act like the sidekicks of the Indian board and try to get a disproportionate share of the revenue for themselves. All that said, I would say that the issues doesn't lies with the BCCI. The real problem lies in the way cricket is being administered. All the other sports bodies (FIFA, FIBA, FILA, IOC, FIH.etc) are being administered by former players. But in case of cricket, most of those at the top are businessmen who care only about money.

We can't expect Premier players or who regularly feature in all 3 format to play in domestic arena. They are already treated like cash cow from the BCCI so adding extra duties in their existing jam packed schedule would be torture. Btw upcoming Sayed Mustaq Trophy is going to be exciting, many famous names are going to play for their respective states.

This is not accurate reason imo. ICC revenue share is not big for ECB, CA. Big chunk of their revenue comes when they host India in bilateral series, just to give you example CA earned more than $300 Million when India toured Australia and that's how BCCI manipulate the other boards and because of this very reason PCB is pissed off.

So what is the point of complaint as you cannot have it both ways, either the smaller cricket boards join hands and complaint against the injustice or they need to accept the fact that all they need is money and they are satisfied. They are satisfied and yet they are not complaining and yet we are here in this forum complaining about the big three while the ones complaining about them are silent  .

So obviously a lot of talented players like Umukt Chand have no option other than to immigrate to another country, if they want to play international cricket. The ICC has made a mockery of the eligibility rules. Anyone who has arrived in another country on a 6-month tourist visa can play for that country. Teams like Oman and UAE are fielding teams that are 100% comprised of Indian and Pakistani nationals. Given this, why can't the ICC add a couple of additional teams from India to the world cup? They can name them as India B or India C.

In case of allowing more teams from India, it's also not fair with many other boards because every country is going with just one national team so India even with 1.4 billion population is OK with one team because if one Sports authority will start like this than many others also demand things like this mean China also can ask for 2 soccer teams or more teams for many other sports. India need some better marketing in other sports also, specially in soccer and Basketball because these also can give very good and positive results in long run.
