Levante is not a big team like Real Madrid. But Real Madrid memories are not pleasant with them. The last 5 times these two teams faced each other, both won 2 matches 1 match was draw.  Hopefully Real Madrid will be able to win today's match.

I don't doubt Madrid's capacity as Laliga's big team, but Levante got Madrid into trouble quite often. The meeting between Madrid and Levante was quite even and it was very interesting. But in fact, today Madrid ended the match with a 2 goal win and managed to top the standing. That's good for them. Barcelona is playing the match against Sevila and so far the score is 1:1. I enjoyed this game and hopefully Barcelona will also win this match. 3:1 is the final score that Barcelona will probably reach to be at least in the top 4.

Real Madrid was playing really well. Even Levante did not play bad. I enjoyed the match. And I’m glad to see Real Madrid at the top of the point table.
I am not satisfied with the match of Barcelona vs Sevilla. I expected that Barcelona was win the match. I think the lineup of Barcelona need to change. They could sort their lineup 4-4-2 instead of 4-2-3-1

Boring game yesterday against Barcelona and Sevilla.
In the start of the game it was very promising as both teams scored early one goal scored at 8' and the other 10'. After that nothing special happened and it was like both teams were expecting to hit the other on the counter attack.
@4.20 was a good odd though for those who bet on the tie.

@Naida_BR I was about to place a bet on Barcelona to win this match, but my gut feeling said that this match will be a tricky one, and hence I decided against wagering on it and I guess my decision was a right one. Furthermore I don’t think that Barcelona will be entirely disappointed with this result, because Sevilla is a tough team, and to escape with a draw is also not that bad in my personal opinion.

Sevilla is a good team and its latest game prove this. It stood vs Bayern and was defeated in extra time in super cup. Barcelona used to be favourite but personally I see it as a fair result for both. At the opposite I am more afraid from Real Madrid performance!

Wouldn't call it misfire. It's current reality, Barca and Sevilla is similar level teams now. We didn't played bad, but weren't better than opponents.
I would say that bigger problem that Barcelona have €488 million debt, it was announced today. €0.5 billion, Carl!

I am not a Barca fan but I agree Barca must improve their connection...
Barcelona's compactness as a team is still not fully developed at the start of this season, they must correct themselves to be able to win in the next match. currently, Jordi alba is injured, it looks like their defense will be in trouble in the next match.

I'm just wondering why other teams aren't taking advantage of the fact that both Barcelona and Real Madrid teams are not performing as they used to. Since that's the case, I was thinking teams like Athletico madrid or Sevilla would capitalize on it and win the title since it's been long both of them have won it. Instead, Sevilla is happy to trail Real Madrid and Atletico is fine with settling for draws.

The performance this season has been nothing to write home about from all top teams. I hope they improve so laliga becomes interesting to watch again.

Naida's had a past. Used to be even worse commenting on matches like a prediction but that had  happened already. Has gotten a lot smarter now and does more research after being called out a few times. Doesn't bet, never shares betslips;)

Yeah, don't know why the hate myself. Sevilla's a good team and they have a good defence. Either side could have won it and it's a fair thing to say that both proved why both are in the running for the title.

Debt is not surprising news. All of Bartolomeu's policies have led to such consequences. High salaries, dark schemes when buying players. I hope Barcelona will be able to get out of this crisis with dignity. But the consequences will hamper the development of the team for a long time.

The statistics are quite even, but the results really make me happy because Madrid won 2-0. Madrid appeared dominant with possession and shots. Vinicius and Benzema both scored one goal. Now madrid are at the top of the standings with 10 points

I agree with your idea. Actually, Simeone can try to change the formation to 4-4-2, with the strikers Suarez & Costa to play together as starters. I assume with this formation, Atletico will play more attacking. It should be worth to try, why don't to optimize the potential of those good strikers? Their defenders are strong enough, they just need to improve the front liners.

This season is a very good one, after many seasons for Atletico to win the La Liga trophy. Real Madrid's squad is ageing and is in end of their career. Barcelona has their unfixed troubles with defense system and now it will turn to be problems with their midfield area (Busquet has no longer been able to give them good  game control ability).

Atletico spent their last season to rebuild their squad. Godin left, Griezman left, Joao Felix and some few others joined and got time to get familiar with La Liga. This season they have L. Suarez from Barcelona for almost free. They are strong and have enough advantage to fight for a trophy, not only for 2nd or 3rd position.

Last season Barcelona had not only Suarez but also Griezmann and of course Messi.
Yet, they didn't manage to fight for the trophy they had a really bad season and the worst was the disqualification from the Champions League.
Suarez is not enough for Atletico if they want to win the La Liga. They have to make expensive purchases in the defensive line as well.
