The company that you hoped to deliver you the 1.2TH/s Sierra last November was run by a guy that had no idea how to run a business, let alone a bitcoin mining company. What did you know about Eduardo and his smug face? You knew nothing about him or his skills to deliver you the miners. On the other hand SP-Tech has a great Team behind them which you can see it on their website. Also i still don't get it how come it doesn't matter that they are backed by 2 very good VC companies with lots of other projects? Why are you so blind? Further discussion seems fruitless. The forums are filled with people butthurt after placing a pre-order and almost as many people to show up and say "told ya so" after the fact. Pre-orders are a bad idea and often ends poorly for the "customer" largely because once payment is received, the manufacturer is incentivized to screw over their customers. This is why it happens with such frequency. I've no axe to grind with spondoolies and in fact, I agree that they appear legit, but things change over time. Uncertainty and investments are poor bedfellows and a million things could happen between your payment now and anticipated August delivery. Why are YOU so blind sir? No PREORDER PLEASE. Preorder makes the company richer. If you don't lend them money for free then they will be cash strap and they will beg people to buy their machines. Hey, aren't you waiting for the tracking of Bit-tech A1 miner? Where are they? They were NOT preorder and you have not received anything yet. Preorder or stock is nothing by themselves. It is the credibility that a company can show.

With pre-order, you have to wait 4 months to complaint or take actions... by that time it maybe too late.

The dragon costs $2900. Or $2900/Ths.
Last one I got was actually $2700, they are cheaper now but. SP10 is $4000 per 1.4Ths or 2857/Ths.
SP10: 2757$/Th Dragon: 2700$/Th And now: Conterra: 2375$/Th

I'd pre-order from spondoolies long before I'd pre-order from cointerra. Just say no. Twice.

You think you can complaint to someone in Shenzhen with your money in hand?
With shipping right now, you can ring the alarm bell to let people know that you are cheated. Let Paypal know to reverse the order. His reputation and business will be severely suffered. vs With pre-order, when something is wrong you won't know for another 3-4 months. By that time the seller had amass over $5 million dollars... he already rich so he does not care too much about a couple weeks or months late ... Ok, you want your money back... sure... thank you for letting me borrow your money interest free for 4 months. Also, by that time many variables were introduced. It may not be as cheap. Maybe the Chinese will steal their technology in July and mass produce and have them on here for $50 cents/ GH..... never know

For the moment we have some decent company (at last) that promises to deliver in August some powerful mining gear. You cannot counter that if you don't have evidences for the opposite.

The world would be great if there is no IF or MAYBE ... that's why I choose one with less IF and MAYBE.... choose stock in hand... I got burned too many times with preorder. I hope you make out well. MAYBE you will look back 4 months later and said, IF I had listened to him................

No. There is no association between raskul and Spondoolies Tech. Debatable. His level of fanaticism seems like he has an ulterior motive. I mean bitmain/bitfury are both great but you don't see people preaching about them. In that same quote, I went on to say this: All of us are independent forum members, and we are free to speak our mind on this thread and others. None of us speak for Spond.
You should judge Spond on comments that they make, not comments that independent forum members make.
That is what I mean. Sure, I can't prove that there is no association between raskul and Spond. But what I mean is that raskul is not an official representative of Spond, and hence should not be taken as such. My comments were in response to the bold section below: In actual fact, s1llyn4m3 or whatever he calls himself would be better closing his door and not going out into the world, ever. It would be safer all round.
You can wiggle and squirm raskul, but you will never get off the hook. Your actions bring Spondoolies-Tech into disrepute just by association.

Quote from: Spondoolies-Tech on April 28, 2014, 19:42:10 The SP30 will be able to produce over 6 THs. Probably over 6.5 THs with 2700 Watt (2 X 1200 rated PSUs, each PSU is able to input 1350 Watt) Wow! So for that is a pretty sizeable increase for the dollars put in. I hope it is possible.

Please do try to keep posts on-topic. While a moderate amount of comparisons with competition makes sense, extensive sidebar discussions about all the other gear you're running or the ship dates of other vendors is really getting pretty far afield.

Conterra: 2375$/Th And the you get a double rolette: How many of the 4 ASICs will actually work ? For how long ? Dont forget to add a whopping 600$ of shipping cost for Cointerra products. Furthermore, these rarely run at the full 1,6Th, and draw about 1,25W/GH Mods: Please delete this if it is too far off-topic.

Can I have a Spondolosis?
It's only caused by the lack of the SP-Tech miners!

Do you own an SP10? Is TURBO mode an overclocking mode? Does it require extreme low temps to operate properly? Thanks again for the post, I like POSITIVE info on equipment THEY HAVE SHIPPED and so far anyone Ive seen post on the SP10 is higly praising their product. Im impressed so far sir!!
