Try Circle its free

BS, they just give you slightly incorrect pricing on conversion. Someone calculated that, effectively, you pay 2% on Circle.

Why is it Spondoolies can take the time to put up a bullshit post congratulating someone but refuses to update those that are PAYING THEIR DAMN BILLS??

You guys need to get your priorities straight.  AND HOW ABOUT AN UPDATE ON THE SP-20 WHICH IS SUPPOSED TO BE SHIPPING IN THE NEXT 8 DAYS?

It's also very discouraging to see people trying to figure out their units months after they've been shipped.  I've never seen such a clusterfuck of a support thread.

Don't trust any exchange!

What do you mean? This thread was always a good support thread.

Hey guys... When can we expect October Batch 1 shipping?  Now they are shipping at the end of October?  Why is that?  How long will shipping be to Canada once it leaves the door in Israel?

Thanks

Where in Canada?  My SP30 came from Tel-Aviv to Toronto in 3 days ..and DHL needed another 2 days for customs clearance. One day in the middle was "Labour day" .. heh.
Overall, it was shipped Wednesday, August 27, 2014, and I had it mining Wednesday, September 03, 2014.

Good to know - located in Winnipeg, MB here....  I was hoping the shipping would not take like 10+ days.   I still want to know why there are delays.  We made this purchase in the first few days of September.

Mine took a bit longer. it was 3 days, Tel-Aviv to Ontario someplace, then another 10 days before it was in Winnipeg.
Shipped on the 15th got it on the 30th..

My apologies, but the fact that people are still trying to tune hardware months later is very discouraging.  The thread itself is fine, although it's missing a major component...INFORMATION FROM SPONDOOLIES.

I am not aware of anyone still trying to tune hardware. What we discussed a few pages back is how to downclock miners in order to achieve the maximum efficiency settings, but everyone seems to be hashing without any problems and zvisha (main SW developer) was pretty active when it was needed so your statement isn't really accurate.

It is called optimization

In mathematics, computer science, economics, or management science, mathematical optimization (alternatively, optimization or mathematical programming) is the selection of a best element (with regard to some criteria) from some set of available alternatives.

Case in point:

12 hours 84.55 Th/s 850390912
3 hours 84.32 Th/s 212027136
22.5 minutes 84.45 Th/s 26543616
256 seconds 86.11 Th/s 5132816
128 seconds 87.29 Th/s 2601452

My machines are hosted and controlled by http://Toom.im as above. The very best achieved at the manufacturer's hosting facilities was an 82 Th/s inconsistent max prior to moving to Jonathan's hands-on operation.

Please do not mistake "fiddling" with optimization. Fiddling is when you do not know what you are doing. Not dissimilar to fidgeting.

- Most of the refunds were done
- SP20 and SP31 will be shipped next week
- Spec update early next week, I'm waiting for SP35 build and test.

We were busy investigating and tuning the firmware to handle various issues found in the field.
We've shipped huge amount of machines and it's expected to encounter some issues. Most of them were solved.

the new SP machine seems quite expensive.

3,920.00 / 358 = 10.94btc for possibly 6THps delivered sometime in November, probably toward the end if like the last product.

why buy that when you can buy that when their are better alternatives.........

this is OT, seems interesting as it will provide more work for miners and perhaps more value for the system, while upsetting alts developers.
I had a few comments here:

hey, Guy, congrats on the $5 mil funding round. Pretty impressive.
Franchising idea is interesting (theoretically), but BTC has to cooperate to a degree.

"Our goal is to get to 0.05 W/GHs, 0.03 $/GHs miners by mid 2015 and power more than 30% of the bitcoin network," Corem explained, adding that he believes these figures will help the company match its rival firms in the US and China.
unless coindesk made a decimal error, this is $30/Th. Wow.

Franchising:
Quote
According to Corem, the company is aiming to emulate the distributed model evoked by US-based MegaBigPower earlier this year, which allows interested entreprenuers to open up mining facilities under its franchise model.

"We don't want to actively operate the mine," Corem explained. "We would provide a guidebook with what needs to be done to create a facility in a way that will allow the customer to use our various generations and split profit off it."

FTFY

I wish you guys luck designing an ASIC to end all ASIC wars.

Anyways good job raising the $5m. Hopefully this means you wont need to take preorders any longer right?

You mean the 20% that Spondoolies is not giving massively discounted bulk rates to?

Being part of the group getting ripped off is normally not something to be proud about.
