Ugh encode in something less proprietary and draconian than Apple codecs
Hey, windows is much more draconian... Use VLC to play/convert .mov on windows OR download Quicktime for windows, it is free. Cheers

[soapbox] Sorry but no-one is more controlling, draconian or inflexible than Apple, talk about boring, everything looks the same, its like living on a council estate and working in a gulag. Apple have become the IBM they were designed to overthrow, control freaks with no ideas of their own or individuality. [/soapbox]

Hi All, - The SP20 Mini Farm is now only $7,995 or 0.31$/GH with free shipping
- Want more than a single SP20 but 15 are too many for you? No problem, we've got a brand new "Nano Farm" special with 3 units for only $1,900, free shipping included
- A single SP20 is now only $659
Both SP20 bundles include free shipping. All the units ship from stock! Happy mining, Gadi That looks great! in-stock gear shipping at competitive prices and reasonable dicounts for bulk however, I would really like to see the nano-farm pack a bit larger. 1,3,15 unit bundles is a weird spread. A 6-pack for $3,500 would be really nice and perfect for a mid-range miner with 5-10kW of power and power supplies available to them. If I bought 15 i would be pushing my power limits even if underclocked.

I dont see why not, a pair of SP20 units would draw around 2100-2300W at full power, within the limits of this power supply. If underclocked slightly to be 1.5TH/900W you would have no problems. granted, you need to wire up some PCIe connectors to do it (see my sig link below if you need thick 16awg cables to do this, capable of 288W each or more)

I more just want a confirmation from SP for warranty purposes.

I'm still trying to understand why people are still buying miners , granted these prices are great but these machines will still have a hard time getting ROI.
a single SP20 makes less than $4 per day after electricty (assuming $10 cents /kWh)
Granted i will not turn off the machines I have right now (2 sp20s and 1 SP30) but the SP20s were purchased using compensation from issues with the sp30
What do you guys know that I don't ?
How would you even consider purchasing 15 sp20s at ~8k and then another $2k in PSU's all for 24TH and the joy of having to manage 15 boxes lol ?!
If anything its a better deal to buy an SP35 and at least you know you get the PSU's and around the power of 4 sp20s for under 3k ?
*** edit the sp35 is not a good deal actually its only 5.5 TH **** i though it was 6.5
makes me sad that hardware has peaked right now. I wired up my basement with 3 30AMP circuits have nice cooling and everything but there is zero reason for me to buy any hardware at this point. 3700 Watts for 5.5 TH seems excessive.
I see why the sp20s are a better deal far more efficient but these things are far from fire and forget, i spent at least 2-3 hours baby sitting these boxes every day sometimes more and I'd be dammed if I want to spend that kind of time managing 5-10 lol

Have you seen the difficulty lately? Obviously very few people are buying miners. The exchange rate crash has really slowed hardware purchases.

I know all that but I feel that If there was hardware worth buying (GH/watts/$$) people would buy. Electricity costs also factor in, suprisingly with the low cost of oil you would think power costs would go down but at least in the US rates are not moving. Chip makers need to focus on efficiency right now no one wants to buy power hungry miners with these current btc/usd rates ** on thing though *** personally i want the BTC price to dump into the 200s to kill KNC and Bitmain I dont think they can support such low conversion rates with the massive expenditures the made in the seccond part of this year. And regarding the slowing of difficulty, I think it has more to do with KNC/Bitmain/BFL those companies stopping thier investments on new hardware, not indivdual miners.

Not only are new purchases slowing down but i also believe big farms by the manufacturers are slowly going offline as it has become unprofitable to mine with big capital expenditures and maintenance costs.

In the US price doesn't normally go down. Rates are usually semi locked in and if the electric company is paying less well frankly why should the customer save more profit to them (is what they think), if the price does go down it would be very small and not likely to happen right now but in a few months. Oil dropped how much per barrel and the price of gas went down maybe 10 cents.

they have a big upside for an in home miner like myself. 6 are easy peasy to run. just underclock to 1200-1300gh and forget them. plus 5 of my six were online since the price jumps at nice-west hash.. I have earned 2.7btc in 4 ¾ days with about 8 th I should have earned .5 btc so the upside is another hot coin like paycoin comes out and rentals go high on nice/west- hash. The second upside is btc jumps to 500 usd. The third upside is these will sell and ship pretty easy so in 60 days I can sell one or two off. I do agree to buy 15 or 30 is different but for some an easy enough thing to do.

Hi all. 2.5.52 (still experimantal)
- Support extranonce.subscribe added by your requests - you have to enable it in settings and reboot to use other binary. It is a binary I got from jtoomim that claims to be cgminer 4.8.0 - I have no idea what it is or who compiled it but it seams to be a legit cgminer with extranonce support, so use it at your own risk I tested it for 2 minutes exactly.
Zvi, can you release an extranonce version for the SP10. I used the SP20 version from Nicehash on my SP30's and it works fine, but it doesn't want to run on the SP10.

+1 Zvi that would be good please (Tig thanks for the tip that the SP20 version works on the SP30s) ... I wasn't prepared to try it .. but thought about it, having hosted machines gets complicated at times ... if they brick.
