This is football it doesn't always work that way as you may think, a club can get all the players it want and still not do better and Chelsea is memorable example with their performance in the previous season despite spending so much with the highest number of signings.

With the little adjustment made by Pep Guardiola, I believe that Man City would still perform better this season, they've opened it well and Haaland has once again displayed himself as a viable firepower in the team.
