Great wins for Newcastle and Man City in the opening weekend, very convincing. Arsenal did what they had to do, funny to see Everton lose.

Feeling a little annoyed at how Chelsea have humiliated us (LFC) over the Caicedo deal. Something really weird going on at Chelsea. They’ve spent £1,000,000,000 in 12 months once this summer ends. They’re going to get fined and possibly points deductions soon I predict. They have a 40,000 seater stadium, they make less revenue than the likes of City, Liverpool, Man Ud but they’re spending like crazy. They can not possibly comply with FFP & the profit/sustainability rulings. All these 9 year contracts are sketchy too.

Hope we batter them tomorrow, come on you mighty reds.

Apart from that, the first goal in this match was also completed nicely by Nketiah in the 26th minute. I saw this match going quite exciting and Arsenal managed to do quite well by securing victory until the end of the match.

Apart from that, Newcastle United, who were playing at home, won their first match of the season by winning a big win where the final score was 5-1 for Newcastle United. I saw Newcastle United game getting more confident after the quick lead scored by Tonali in the 6th minute. Tonali impressed in his first match with Newcastle United after he was successfully recruited from AC Milan this season.

But apart from their first victory there is a loophole that I think Arteta should think about in the upcoming match where when they are able to lead the match with a score of 2-0 they should not be too preoccupied with attacking so when there is a counter attack their defense is not too ready to break attack by the opponent.

I throw compliments on Arsenal young players. It's like they've learned from last season to appear consistent at the start of the season and they've managed to prove that in the first game against Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal just won their first game at the start of the season, which is great. But I don't think you should be satisfied with everything they have at the moment because Arsenal haven't proved anything with just this one win. The fact that Nottingham was still able to score and reduce their loss to Arsenal to 2-1, so it's clearly a mistake to avoid in the next game.

Arsenal really dominated that game well, but Nottingham is not too strong a team to put up a great fight. Look at the match statistics, Nottingham only had 200 passes throughout the match with 68% accuracy compared to Arsenal's 769 with 90% accuracy. The difference in quality that stands out is the reason why Arsenal dominate and win matches, after all Arsenal are also playing at home where they should be more motivated to win.

It was such an amazing start for Haaland and Rodri. But especially Haaland impressed people a lot by scoring 2 goals already. He is just continuing from where he left off. Haaland has already broken a goal record in one season in the Premier League. But it looks like he is always competitive to go for new records.

Haaland is a beast, I'm not surprised if he could score 2 goals against a small club like Burnley. I even expected he scored 3 goals and got his first hattrick yesterday. But Man City looked playing not as offensive as in the first half, they reduced the intensity of their attacks in the second half. So, they only got 1 goal in second half, Haaland was also replaced by Palmer in minute 80'. However, it was a great start for Haaland, it is very obvious that he will be the top scorer in EPL again this season.

Let's see whether this will be another very consistent season for him. It was a pretty easy victory for Manchester City as well. I had a small doubt about them after seeing how they were defeated by Arsenal first but they showed that they are ready for a new season in the Premier League already.

When Man City got defeated by Arsenal, it was a pre season match. So, I can understand if Man City probably didn't play with their 100% power. However, considering the result of the match against Burnley, I have no doubt that Man City can keep their good performance in this season. All Man City players still played in their best shapes. Although Guardiola assumed it is not easy to win treble winners again, but I'm sure they can win again EPL title at least.

the results of the games in that round were somewhat predictable. I thought to do a simple summary of today games and i hope you like the recap haha..

Arsenal 2 - 1 Nottingham Forest

Its a good start to the season for Arsenal, but it was not a dominant performance from the Gunners who look towards challenging for the title in the new season. More to come from the gunners definitely.
 

AFC Bournemouth 1 - 1 West Ham United

A very good game between both sides, end to end real entertaining stuffs, in the end Bowen super strike was not enough to grant West Ham the win, With Maguire and Mctominay about joining West Ham United side; another europa league spot should be easy for the team.

Brighton & Hove Albion 4 - 1 Luton Town

An excellent performance from Brighton who have kicked off from when last season ended; with 5 players out, Brighton performance did not dip. Luton is tipped likely to return to the championship after a bad summer in the transfer market, will their fate change?

Everton  0 - 1 Fulham

What plans does Sean Dyche have for his wasteful attackers at Everton? They cost their side 3 points today and let Fulham have it easy in this tie. Its a big season ahead!!!

Sheffield United 0 - 1 Crystal Palace

An entertaining game seperated only by a goal; Still an average performance by both sides if they want to take anything from this season.

Newcastle United 5 - 1 Aston Villa

It was a very excellent performance from Newcastle United; who proved to have too much in their bags and overpowered and crushed Aston Villa with 5 goals to 1, it could have been 7 goals, and Newcastle would have still been worthy winners. What is Eddie Howe cooking for the new season? Which champions league side will be humbled in the UEFA Champions league at St James Park?

Aston Villa's defense was completely undermined today by Newcastle. I never expected Newcastle to be this strong at the start of the season but they played really well today. I was really surprised by their performance but Newcastle have been very, very good since last season.

Newcastle are partying today, of course it's because they have scored 5 goals all game. The temporary score is 5-1 and I think it will soon be over to make Unai Emery rack his brains to restore his team's confidence in the next game.

This is just a good way to start a new season to continue on the good form they finished with last season. I was very impressed with Newcastle performance today and with what they showed today, I think they’ll go far in this season again like they did last season. Their performance really showed that they’re a team ready to represent the premier league in the champions league tournament this season. Even if they won’t go far in the champions league, I’m certain they’re going to give any team they face a thought time before they can advance to the next round. Good game today by Newcastle and I hope they continue the good form throughout the season.

It's good to start the league with a win. Even though Arsenal was heavy favorite against Nottingham Forest it was important to not make any mistakes in first game and at home. Martinelli and Nketiah were pretty good today. Saka's goal from outside the box was amazing. Arsenal gave good signs, I hope they will be in the discussion for the whole season.

And with the way they started, they’ll sure give Manchester City a tough time to also contend for the premier league title. It all depends on the depth of the squad, which played a cruel joke with Arsenal last season. Despite all these high-profile transfers in the summer, it's too early to judge how much this problem has been solved. Therefore, I still think that Arteta should make the main bet on winning the Premier League this season, and not try to win all the tournaments, but in the rest of the tournaments, as it turns out. Arsenal have already gained some leadership experience last season, so this season it will be necessary to bring it to its logical conclusion.

Everyone saw the success that was done by Eddie Howe in this transfer market because several players who were brought in by Newcastle United were able to perform quite well for their strength this season. Newcastle United faced Aston Villa and Aston Villa was not a weak team, But in this match Newcastle United was much stronger than Aston Villa so that Newcastle United success scoring 5 goals made them the most aggressive team in the game first this season.

Between Chelsea and Liverpool it will be difficult to predict in tomorrow's game because the Chelsea squad has really changed 100% after Chelsea sold a lot of their players this season. I believe Liverpool is more in the favorites to secure full points at Stamford Bridge.

So far since the season started,  Newcastle seems to be the club with the highest goals scores in a single match and this is a remarkable record for the club,  Newcastle performed so well in the last season even though their presence was not noticeable due to the dominance of bigger clubs in the season limelight.

But so far so good,  winning this opening game with such multiple goal scormakes itsit seems that they're ready for the next season.

Very true about that,  most of the outcomes of the marches went as predicted and I believe that most of the gamblers around here have a rewarding day today from their bets,  the season began on an incredible note,  and this will set the status quo to what we should be expecting subsequent games. Just as you mentioned,  Asernal had a remarkable day today just as Manchester City hard to yesterday and I believe that in the next week, a lot of things are going to change in the direction and position of most clubs on the table.

I really think that the promoted clubs from the championship should realise that they are in English Premier League.
The competition is high here, they should take time else 3 of them will just return to relegation.
They need to sign good players to fit into this competition. You cannot be playing EPL with championship players.
Last season what saved Nottingham Forest was that they signed about 23 new players.
EPL is a serious business, I haven't seen it that the first week all the promoted teams lost woefully.

Maybe in the game between Macnshter City and Burley Pep Giadipla went too far because, at the end of the first half, he started yelling at Haaland, and he said Haaland always wants to other players to pass the ball to him and put him in the good situation to score a goal. He said Bernardo Silva was right no don't pass the ball to him.
