The fight for a Champions League ticket next season between West Ham United and Manchester United is indeed very tough this season considering that both teams are both eyeing the top 4 Premier League zone, but Manchester United has slightly benefited from the one remaining game they haven't played this season. This time, and Manchester United took advantage of this opportunity well where they hosted West Ham United at Old Trafford stadium ending with 3 points which also made them take over the 4th position

Manchester United is having 38 points, 22 matches played
Arsenal is having 36 points, 21 matches played
Tottenham is having 36 points, 20 matches played.
Should I say Manchester United and Arsenal may fight until Tottenham take over the 4th position. Manchester United is having low chance to retain that four position.

I don't know why you didn't include west ham as one of the teams that will fight for the top 4 position, I think westham also has a big enough chance to break into the top 4, indeed they have played 23 matches in the league, but that doesn't mean they can't be competitors the team that has the match postponed. all teams have the same opportunity to break into the top 4 including manchester united, although arsenal and tottenham have more postponed matches than manchester, but in my opinion manchester will take advantage later in the arsenal vs Tottenham match which is one of those postponed matches.

Well, Manchester United is already in the fourth position and Even though they don't have much of a points advantage then Arsenal and Tottenham I think Manchester United is going to be very desperate to hold on to their fourth position.

But that does not mean Arsenal and Tottenham are going to take things lightly. I believe that there is going to be a really good fight between the teams for the fourth position in the league.

But I believe if Cristiano Ronaldo can perform a little better Manchester United will be able to hold on to the fourth position.

Firstly I think that EPL fixtures are a bit messed up. A lot of team plays a lot less than other teams, why is that?

for example, Tottenham are 4 matches behind Chelsea. But the good thing is Chelsea won their last match and it could give them the much-needed morale boost as they hadn't won a game for about a month or so. But I'm quite eager to see who finishes in the 4th position.

I also used to think the top 3 was confirmed but now I am not so sure about Chelsea after their form has dipped.

Manchester United: if they win their 2 games in hand they will have 44 points while Chelsea have 47 points
West Ham United: if they win their 1 game in hand they will be 7 points behind Chelsea
Arsenal: if they win their 3 games in hand they will be just 2 points behind Chelsea
Tottenham Hotspur: if they win their 4 games in hand they will be 1 point ahead of Chelsea

If Conte manages to get Spurs in a top 4 finish it will be a massive success because he was not their manager at the start of the season and both he and the team had to adjust. As for Chelsea, they have a fight on their hands if they want to end the season with a top 4 finish.

The top 3 is already ensured in the premier League, Manchester City Will definitely win the championship while Liverpool and Chelsea will be second and third respectively, I the the top four is kinda difficult but if we go with current form, I think Manchester United deserve to be there because they have invested alot in that squad and they have a good team and depth than the likes of Tottenham, arsenal and West ham.

We will watch a very good fight between Liverpool and Chelsea. The team that will probably win is clear, Manchester City. but there is still a lot of games to finish, so we may see different results.
Manchester United started badly this year, so I wasn't expecting much. But they are currently performing quite well. I think the team that will be the fourth in the league this year will be Manchester United

Arsenal 0-0 Burnley

Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham Hotspur

Crystal Palace 1-3 Liverpool

Leicester City 1-1 Brighton and Hove Albion


Bottom of the table Burnley got a very important point at Arsenal because are fighting to stay in the Premier League. Arsenal could have strengthened their case for a top 4 finish but they dropped points.

Chelsea beat Tottenham to go 10 points behind leaders Manchester City and 1 point behind second placed Liverpool. Chelsea have played 2 games more than 4th placed Manchester United and are 9 points ahead therefore by winning the games in hand Manchester United could end up being just 3 points behind Chelsea.

Liverpool won 1-3 but if that penalty decision was not given towards the end of the game Crystal Palace were pushing for an equaliser. It was a bad decision by the referee to award a penalty to Liverpool after he was instructed by VAR to look at the pitch-side monitor, it was definitely not a penalty.

In the case of Burnley tho, they’re like 4 matches behind because postponement due to covid.  And out of those 4, they could prolly get three points vs Everton and a point each from Aston Villa and Leicester City.  That’s best case scenario.  So assuming that, they should be around a couple of places higher in the table.

And it’s really impressive how Burnley is sticking with Sean Dyche.  It’s very unlike modern football, esp the football we know around the 2010s.

That time was really hard for Watford and they are in serious danger of being relegated. Watford seems to approach Roy Hodgson to be their new manager. Though Roy Hodgson retired after last season he is coming back to take the responsibility of being the manager of Watford. Maybe he will be able to to keep them out of the relegation zone.

Don't involve west ham here please. I don't rate them for the top four, I believe that if Tottenham chairman and board support Antonio Conte in signing s good right full back, a central midfield ten it will put smiles in his face again and he can push for the top four because right now I think he is angry with the chairman for lack of support.my second pick for the top four is Manchester United but if they are not consistent enough arsenal might overtake them.

I also have the same thought. For the 4th place, the strongest candidates are Man United, Arsenal, and either Chelsea or Tottenham (Tottenham has 4 games less than Chelsea, so Tottenham still has a chance to overtake Chelsea). I predict that the one who will win the 4th position is Man United. Even though they had a slump but their condition is better now, and I think their performance will continue to improve in subsequent matches.

I guess he’s a good choice if he chooses to stay beyond this season in case they do get relegated.  They’ll be needing a good enough manager to bring them up back to the EPL as soon as possible.  But Watford has him only until the end of the season so they’ll be lost again right after relegation.

It was Newcastle that chose well.  They got Eddie Howe as a safe choice.  A decent enough manager who could take the club mid table next season if they stay up and a great manager in the Championship if they go down.

He is a really unlucky manager, man. He had a wonderful season with Leicester seven years ago and won the Premier League title. This was really amazing that they won the title by dominating the whole season. They had only three losses in total. Right after this season, Leicester started to have big problems and this caused Ranieri to get sacked eventually if I'm not mistaken. He really didn't deserve it then I think. And now, he is still unlucky that he continues to get sacked due to getting bad results. No matter what, he is still a special manager in my opinion.

Saw on Tottenham Hotspur blog today that Antonio Conte has ask the board to sell Matt Doherty,Dele Alli, Tanguy Ndombele and geovanni Locelso. It's gives me so much pleasure to see this names put up for sell because I cannot add any other player in this group or remove anyone here into the group,these players mind are no longer in the club, Dele Alli is lost, he can't find himself in this team again, Tottenham Hotspur can't motivate Tanguy Ndombele to improve himself. Locelso is too injuries prone, Doherty is not good enough.

Doherty got quite a lot of playing opportunities. but it doesn't look good. 17 games he only contributed 1 assist. he's old enough.
while Locelso only played 13 times, not in a form that pleases the coach. I think it's natural that these names are recommended for sale. It's time to give the younger ones a chance.

^ I think these names are actually right. And out of all Dele Alli may seem like he needs to be in the team because he can still do a lot for Hotspur, but it seemed in the best interest of both the player and the club if the player moves to another team. because it seems like his time in this team is up and he can do much better in some other team as he is still a great player.

And also spurs need to give the young players a chance to prove themselves. And the other names on the list are also accurate because they are actually not doing so much for the club right now. If anything the team is being held back by them.

Some news about deals going through have been announced in the previous couple of days but none has been more publicised than Adama Traore. He has moved from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Barcelona on loan until the end of the season but have an option to buy him for for around £25 million.

How will this affect the rest of the season for Wolves? And with Barcelona chasing a 4th spot La Liga finish in order to qualify for the Champions League next season, will Adama Traore be able to slot in to that failing and underperforming Barcelona team?

Yea Antonio Conte is very experienced in this job so he is not shy away when he sees something that will curse problem in the future.since lo Celso came to Tottenham he has not improved one bit, Tanguy Ndombele don't have motivation to play for spurs since the coach that sign him left, Doherty is too average for a club of Tottenham standard.

I believe this accept no nonsense from player’s approach is how Conte works best, and if the board can back him in few transfer windows then he can just win them the title, because that’s how good he actually is. However Levi is not a person who’ll accept whatever Conte asks for, hence these two are bound to clash at some point so let’s see how many demands does Levi accept and which one’s he rejects.

Dele Alli will most likely leave the team. Luis Diaz looks set to join the Tottenham squad. Luis Diaz is a very valuable player and will contribute a lot to the team, an important name to score needed goals

Dele Alli is obviously going to leave the team. His best time for the team seems to be behind him. They have not lived up to the expectation of anyone in this season, they did pretty bad by their standards.

What I think is they should renovate their team a little as you said and be prepared for the next season.
But then again they also have to concentrate on being in the top four this season also. But you know, it is going to be a tough job for them.
