Correct. Joyce is the closest one to have a chance at winning the title. I mean, he got the complete package so this will hurt him a lot after being defeated in maybe one of the biggest upsets in the boxing industry. I didn't really like who it ended up but it's the doctor's decision so there's not much we can do.

Yup! right decision from the ref to make sure that it won't create more damage for him, there's no contest and the fighter and his camps accepts the defeat, it's an upset that bring Joyce career's to fall, I guess it's not the expected outcome but the Chinese fighter manage to throw good conversion bringing the referee to decide to finished the fight in his favor.

The 2 old years old difference isn't too far and Joe Joyce also have reach advantage, if you check the odds Zhang is clearly underdog where the odds in moneyline is 7.80x. For me I don't see Zhang have a chance to beat Joyce.

The truth is that I think the same as you, for me Inoue will easily win against Fulton, of course this is something that at least I say because of his performance in the ring, because Inoue fights as if he were a genius, so all those fights in which we have seen The Japanese do what they do best, which is to win, I don't think this new category will stop them, I imagine that the training must be on another level, but that's boxing, they have to get used to the weight and be able to show that they are the best.

This was really a big risk to place a bet on, the thing is I really am not familiar with Zhilei Zhang, and looking even further if I would pick who's going to win for sure I am going for Joe Joyce, looking it by paper most of Joyce win is by KO/TKO and only has 1 decision win with no losses while Zhang does have many KO/TKO but he got 5 decision win and with a lost, but right now Zhilei Zhang have dented Joe Joyce untainted record, and looking at the fight Zhang recent lost to Filip Hrgović doesn't get to his head and have recovered quite well he is more agile and aggressive than Joyce 1st round and Joe Joyce is slightly wobble by Zhang jabs and punches,

Looking at the fight well, this is what I see about the fight Zhang doesn't really make it intentional inside the ring in the heat of the battle do you still think he would think to hit the eye simultaneously like that, in the heat of the fight anything can happen and Zhang just enter the ring and do what he does best, I really think people that are upset because of the result of the fight are really protesting about this, to make the fight a no contest, Zhilei Zhang is ready for a rematch and willing to wait for Joe Joyce, for it I think the result of the fight was really good so we don't need to blame the eye injury was intentional, I really think it was really a good shot and Zhilei Zhang could punch where ever he wants in Joyce face whenever he sees fit to do,

I don't know about it, but we all know that boxing is brutal, and I don't think it's intentional though, I mean you are going to punch your opponent in the head or the body, so not sure what people are mad at Zhang.

It's that Joyce cannot against to him and so he takes the advantage of that, targeting his eye.

What's controversial is that one judge who thinks that Joyce is winning because at the top of the stoppage, Joyce is ahead on his scorecard. And maybe if this fight goes to their scorecard, Joyce could be the winner despite the punishment he got from Zhang.
