With Tanganga and Soumaré on my team, what should I do? Triple 0's in the previous 3 games. I was hoping to get rid of Soumare without losing any points when he moved to Monaco, but the mf is still not going, so I'm stuck with him! Soumare is not in Rodgers' plan for the year, and his move to Monaco has been delayed for 2 weeks now. Tanganga was a key player for Conte last season and appeared in almost every game; therefore, it is puzzling why he has been sitting on the bench for the past three games without playing a single minute.


What do you guys think about trading Harry Kane for Jesus to save my team, I need Jesus to do that. I expect Jesus to score more points than Harry Kane this season because the Arsenal team is centered around him, but my gut keeps telling me to wait until GW5 and evaluate both points. Please give me some advice! (Only incorrect ones)

Can Salah succeed on a chilly Monday night at Old Trafford without Firmino, Nunez, and Jota? Will Halaand be a successful captain in GW4? Only incorrect answers.

If you want just incorrect advises I suggest you load yourself with 3 United players and take as much minus points as possible. Start with Kane and exchange him for Ronaldo, I hear he could be going to Dortmund so that is perfect way to ruin your season. Since you have problems with Tanganga and Soumare change them to Maguire and Martinez, that way you will collect minus points in the games instead of those pesky 0 pointers.

Are you sure you get a free transfer if player leaves? Never had that problem but I expected that you have to burn your transfer to get rid of him.

I'll expect a more conservative game between Man Utd and Liverpool, so I'm not totally expectant of Salah to explode, but the only about very certain thing is that ceteris paribus, Salah would be on the pitch for 90 minutes, but Haaland might not get past 70-75 minutes. I'm yet to decide on my options and Gabriel Jesus is still well a considerable option for me at this point.

A number of deals have also been completed over the course of this week that I'm considering to bank on when I'm playing my wild card...

Haha, I'm curious to hear your truthful responses now! In my team, not a single member of the Manchester United squad is worth a chance. The only person I actually believed in was M. Greenwood, but the mf has already been switched and he is still a long way from returning.

Players with more than four teammates had to make a free swap when Cucurella and Zichenko both moved to another team. I believe that a player transferring to another league is a free transfer.

Odegaard is terrible choice from fantasy point of view. He gets you minutes but very low number of assists/goals. Almost like defensive midfielder. It is no coincidence that even top players on DM position cost about 6M. They are just not worth it.

Yeah I guess the midfielders that is useful in fantasy is pretty much those attacking midfielders / wingers thats would score / assist otherwise it wont really matter with the play minutes. I'll see how this goes on GW3 though, I think I have decent squad for GW3. Well Haaland and Jesus should be able to score some goals in their next games though

Yeah, especially players that are naturally strikers but listed on FPL as midfielders, Salah, Martinelli, Rodrigo and so on, and the best part is you get 1 point more if they should compared to what are awarded to strikers and you also get an additional point if the team keeps a clean sheet. That's where having De Bruyne become essential, though I don't have him in my team yet (and would have stick to the Man City double at the back line until they start conceding goals in consecutive games. I'm also very tempted to use my free transfer for this week to bring on Rodrigo, but I don't want sto risk it vs a Chelsea defense which might be too much for him to thrive against.

That is the problem with casual managers, they have already made the transfer without caring that he plays against Chelsea next. That leaves us with two options, jump on Rodrigo train, probably bench him for one week and profit from price rise or wait until next week and risk to get priced out of him. I have gone with first option this time around. I believe that it is somewhat worth to chase prices in first half of the season while it is much better to wait with transfers as the season comes to its end.

Am still studying the game and how it goes but, from the little experience I've got with the points, it's a bad idea to choose flat defenders or midfielders. Anyone stable enough player could get a 90mins, match bonus and a few other shits that FPL gives points for but, not so many could score or give an assist and as such, you look out for players that are on the offensive and could attempt something g or even earn you points from an assist.
Been looking to get Harry Kane and Burns off my team for Haaland and haven't decided on Burns replacement. Perhaps it might be between either of them in the end as they would be playing agents themselves. Can't have one give me points only to minus it from the other.

I am not confident in our attack, I only need James and Kouli, two Chelsea players who have been a major part of my team thus far. Due to recent injuries at Liverpool, I was able to swap Soumaré for Milner; I expect Milner to be crucial in the upcoming games

I can't wait to see him flop. I sold Perisic last week, and he earned a lot of points today, but I don't regret it, Schar is batter option

I mean you have to spend your own transfer. either free one or pay for it -4, just like any other transfer you decide to do.

Chelsea attack is really though to pick through, there isn't anybody worth the price tag. That is why James is such a good option, he gets us clean sheet points and still looks like one of most dangerous attacking players in the club. I just hope he will play WB in most games and not CB like in the last one until minute 60.

Milner will play a lot but you can't expect him to get you too much points. I guess he is not on penalties any more and he doesn't even have free kick or corners. It seems to me best you can hope for is some assist every few games. But what do I know, I bashed Odegard the other day and he scored heaps of points today, better to be quiet and not provoke lady luck.

Well I got 3 Arsenal players on my squad, Ramsdale and Martinelli ended up with 6 points and Jesus only ended up with 4 points which could have been 5 if it wasnt for the yellow card. Just google stuff like that, there is tons of fantasy materials and statistics out there in the open for free. There is couple of paid sites as well but I never tried those. Seems like a bit of overkill to me since they do all the math for you and you basically end up playing the game just by xG and xA. I prefer to watch the games and pick players that I like.

I decided to go with Haaland for this week, I really didn't know why I didn't settle for Jesus though, but It just didn't feel right with me, I chose not stick with Salah too, I know Man United defense is all shambles right now, but I hate to think that Man Utd might start to get things right and that lost to Brentford could have been the turning point. All I need from Guardiola is just to let him have the complete 90 minutes on the pitch, I'm sure Haaland will sort the rest out.

i read somewhere that 80% is the highest amount reached in the history FPL, not sure if true but if it is that's crazy. So glad i joined the hype train before the start of the season

I've already gotten rid of him! I still have Tanganga, who is probably going to AC Milan or something. I'm not sure how I got myself into this mess.

RLC was used at LWB and performed admirably; I believe he will continue to play in the same position against Leeds United. James will play deep in between the lines; I'm not expecting a goal from him, but rather a clean sheet.

Milner is still the first choice PK taker, and he also plays the corner with Trent. BTW, he's not a long-term project; I'll get rid of him when Nunez, Firmino, and Jota return from injury; he's on a two-week loan.

If you're having a bad day, keep in mind that I had Perisic on my team from GW1 to GW2, then let him go only for him to drop a 13 in GW3. The FPL leader tripled Captain Odegaard and got over 40 points on him. Those guys didn't are not real.

That what I said about this being a marathon and not a sprint, I wouldn't bring any player just a for temporary basis, I surely would have felt it's worth keeping over the next few weeks, and It really sucks for anyone to have had Odegaard just to get him out at the wrong time, but I still wouldn't consider him a smart buy for a long time, it's just like me having Perisic, he didn't start the first game and was only a sub in the second week (although he still got an assist) but I felt I need to let one go of him or Matty Cash and I had to choose Matty Cash simply because he doesn't serve long time profit for me imo and Perisic is finally paying dividends, the only pain being in my sub right now is Andreas Pereira, man's always getting above the least point on my team, and today he's got 8

Actually I was thinking about making the change between Odegaard and Martinelli. However I decided to give one last chance to the Norwegian star. And he also made me smile. I think Odegaard is really similar to Mesut Özil in terms of playing style. However he still has a long way to go. Despite all this, I can still change him with Martinelli if his value becomes 6.5 m again this week.

after having all discussions about Kane and Haaland swap after round 1, Kane scored in both rounds, and Haaland missed last round, will be interesting what he will do today

but, patience is a key, if you do believe in your players, and not just in hype, I changed before GW2, but did not change anything before GW3, hopefully with Zaha, Mitrovic, Kane scoring my score will be above average, first time this season, depend on Salah against United, but he will influence all averages
