I am not so happy that Areola's clean sheet was scuppered during stoppage time, but hey at least I bought Bowen and JWP, jumping to 10th already. And that's before you count the Triple Captain on Haaland.

Triple Captain in GW 3 already ? That's some gutsy play imo, especially knowing Haaland hasn't been firing well on cylinders, so it's very very gusty to say the least, but Haaland with a hattrick today would surely be better than planning for a potential double game week of which we have zero no clue about yet. I agree. That's if he gets to be that efficient today though.

Haha, one of my close friend on Twitter used Triple Captain on Halaand as well, how do I know the person on Twitter isn't NotATether? Well, there is no better time to use the triple captain, it's all about hitting it at the right moment, one might say that DGW is the ideal time to use it, but it usually fails. I recall using my TC in GW1 last season because I didn't know much about chips and it worked out great for me, I hit about 38 or 40 points I can't really remember but it was more than what many managers hit on a DGW. But I wouldn't trust Halaand with my TC right now with KDB out of the squad. He's probably going to go blank against Fulham.


Areola disappointed me last night, he was so close to hitting another mega point for me, wasted my time watching that game for everything to turn out worse few minutes to FT.

a second change to the last matchday i have made in the goal - instead of Onana (vs. arsenal) this weekend Flekken (vs. bournemouth) is in goal with me today

Let the manager worry about that; I'm sure he had a purpose for why he chose him out of nowhere. On the RW, we wanted a speedy and good leftfooted winger with good pass vision; Madueke is good, but his shooting and passing ability are lacking. Palmer is someone I never expected Man City would contemplate selling; he is one of their top players and would have been an ideal Mahrez replacement; he was already breaking into Man City IX and has made a significant impact this season. And as for the price, well, he's British, so what do you expect?

Facts 101: Cole Palmer is playing a couple of minutes/games, but he wasn't thing close to breaking Man City XI, If he was and with Mahrez gone, why would City sanction a sale for a player that's isn't pushing for a move away from the club ? Palmer playing is mostly just due Guardiola's heavy rotation policy that keeps almost all his players fit for almost the entire season, but he sure isn't good prospect. is Romeo Lavia British too ? because Chelsea paid more for Lavia, Chelsea is just being milked but time will tell. Romeo Lavia is more of an upgraded version of Romeo Lavia, and he's British, too but cost way less than worth Chelsea paid for Lavia, while Caceido cost twice as much as Tottenham paid for James Maddison who is also British.

Palmer to Chelsea is completed and he cost only 5.0 - Someone to put on a watch-list. Trofo will not be happy with this transfer i bet  

Happy about it? Actually, I am happy about it, it is now clear to me that Boehly will not stop from buying everything that is willing to come to Chelsea and sooner he gets you guys bankrupt, sooner you can start to rebuild. Transer by itself is really strange. Palmer leaves City because he wants first team football and comes to Chelsea where there is even more competion on that spot.

Fati to Brighton on loan is a good transfer, and something Chelsea should have done to navigate Nkunku injury. Not buying another player that is good but not good enough to actually carry the team.

Bringing in a prone to injury Fati to replace an injured Nkunku? What is the point of that? He is a highly gifted player, but his injury record is even worse, and that is the only reason Barcelona is allowing him to leave since he is nothing more than a liability to the club, and no serious club wants him either. We already have enough challenges to deal with.

And Tottenham being trophyless isn't because they're are not spending enough and you're also completely wrong about Tottenham spending less than Aston Villa, in the last decade Aston Villa have only spent 30 million Euros or more on just 6 players, and Diaby for 55m is their most expensive transfer over that span, while the numbers for Tottenham are is over 16+ players, and 50m or more for over 6 players.

And no actually envies the so called loophole you all Chelsea fans think Todd Boehly have found, if you think it is a wise and strategic plan to sign a lot of young players to 7-9 contract because you're supposedly building a dynasty, I beg to differ, what happens if a large amount of them turns out to be a one season wonder or didn't turn out to be good signings eventually ? You have to keep paying them whether or not they're getting playing time, obviously.

After a bad GW last week (by my standards), I'm basically in dreamland now. Bowen scores, Ward Prowse assisted + BPS so you can't even tell the difference, Alvarez scores, Mbeumo and I got 51 points off of Haaland. And Palace and Saka haven't even played yet.

And that's not to forget that Chelsea lost again today, which should be bad news for me since Chilwell blanked, but it makes my bet with @icopreas easier.

I will probably buy Son before his price inevitably goes up because of his hat trick. Maddison was on my radar too but he's been called up and I'm scared of him getting injured. Udogie has another good GW.

Awoniyi is also tempting but with all these deadline day arrivals including Lord Origi, I'm not sure whether he is still nailed.

TC on player getting 20 points is really good and it paid off for you nicely. I am looking at about 15 "certain" points when using that chip and everything more than that is great. But your best move this week is having Alvarez. He is quite low owned and his haul today is the one I most happy about. At least now that miss from Jackson is easier to forget.

It wasn't a good gw for me. If Jackson turned Sterling's pass into a goal in the last minutes everything would have been fixed. I don't think he is good at finishing at all. Chelsea are absolutely feeling the absence of Nkunku. I think Enzo was the best on the pitch despite their losing against N'Forest.

Hitting it at the right time yeah, but there isn’t one except with the ideology that, the double game week offers more possibility as, you don’t expect a top player to blank in 2 games better still, they would have the chance to be impressive and earn points in 2 games.

Trofo, it appears being scared of West Ham have little to do with the performance of Bowen. He just knows how to find that little space and make it count. He almost got a brace.

As for Chelsea, I thought they had easy fixtures! Now, they let Nottingham Forest beat them yet again still, you could see N. Jackson showing great potentials, working with Sterling and all that. Still, Chelsea is just unreliable.

This Ansu Fat injury record and he's only 20 years old. He was out for almost 1 full year in 20/21 season. If this is not an injury prone player then you need to recheck the meaning.



In his final 1 and half-year at Chelsea, Kante was prone to injuries. Kante dropped from playing 30- 40 games per season to less than 10 league games for us last season. Kante was no longer the same, which is why the club decided to let go him.

James' injury history since last season is alarming, and I doubt he'll be with us for long.

I should've taken the advices you guys shared here.  Sterling now looking like a 1-match wonder to me. Blank the entire 90mins. Getting Maddison or Mitoma would have been a much better deal.


Everytime Haaland shines, there's not much to say since he's a non-unique selection and even gets accorded the same points.

Well after what happened last week I figured I had to close the gap to the top of the leaderboard before it got too much. And it seemed to have worked, because I shot up to 5th from 19th. Everyone wants to win after all.

DGW blank Happened many times last season. Hattrick and an assist is dream TC point. Not sure anyone will be lucky to hit anything close to that 60 point Mark.

Every time I watch Boehly Chelsea, I feel like I'm watching our U21 Premier League games, because there are too many kids in the team with little or no experience. We're progressively becoming what Arsenal was a few years ago. I don't understand their obsession with U21 players. Spent £1B and no single experienced striker up front.

Ever since Roman Abramovichs name was detached from this brand thanks to the Russia-Ukraine war, this team has never been the same !! At this point it gets me to think current owners are all about the money or they totally have no love for football one bit !! Pretty much Something  similar with what happened to Leicester after previous owner passed and successor came with a different vision which saw the foxes performance tank and got booted out of the Premier league...and hope the Blues don't go down this road

You play the Arsenal style, you get the Arsenal type of result. Arsenal where just way up there head last season and it transformed there mentality into a more confident Arsenal and that’s how you see them doing great at there games.
Chelsea haven’t got that confidence about them, they are always out there testing themselves every time, not knowing when to go for goal, hang on or drop an assist. It’s always about triers only when assured and that’s so not the case. They’ve got to be hitting the ball on target. Maybe this N. Jackson and R. Sterling thing could settle the teams lack of any consistent striker.

To be fair, Arsenal were so stingy back then and didn't spend so much like Chelsea spend these days. I am at a point when Chelsea sign a star striker or playmaker and inside me, I know he's going to flop  

Have you noticed how you have even already forgotten how good Nkunku was before he set his feet on Chelsea? He left RB Leipzig at the top level. At 25, he should be getting closer to or hitting his prime, but... it's Todd Boehly's Chelsea!

Problem is those young players costed more then proven players would have costed. When we are talking about young teams that is usually a combination of own players grown trough academy plus several relatively cheap signings from countries like Netherlands and Portugal, you know what I am talking about.


Son masterclass today, Spurs looked so much better with him as a striker, I believe this will now be the preferred setup and that makes him a very good swap for Rashford. If only we knew who was on penalties for Spurs. I am thinking it should be Son or Maddison.
