Awww! I am flattered by this proposal I don't know though if any company would be interested in hiring a Latin translator =)))

So it seems that the islands aren't named Canarias after the birds, but viceversa! I don't think many tourists know this fact, but not many tourists belong to the AoBT and have these philological concerns

Both of these statements are so true!

As a curiosity, "dogs" are still also called "canes" apart from "perros" in Spanish, although the use of the former is in decline, and often used by poets, intellectuals or simply pedantic people.

I see that everything done here is 100% purely for the forum, there is no connection with projects outside the forum. I think it would be better to give translators a wider market, with all the portfolios it has, AOBT can become a trusted agency. Because of that, AOBT can create profile & offer translation services on several international platforms such as:

(1) Fiverr
(2) Upwork
(3) ProZ

Having a LinkedIn profile is also a good idea, it increases AOBT visibility & increases the chances of attracting potential clients. What do you think about this idea?

Thank you for your advice Rashlyowl. I personally used ProZ in the past, but nobody was interested in paying y with Bitcoin there. It was several years ago, perhaps the situation has changed but I doubt it. About the other platforms, I only know their names but never tried.

As per LinkedIn, do they accept anonymous profiles?

Anyway, if anybody knows about potential clients, you can simply post it here or send us a PM, and we're willing to pay the intermediary a percentage of the price for commercial commission.

So I would kindly ask satscraper, Abdulzuruku01, Danica22, taufik123, cygan, DYING_S0UL, DrBeer, Porfirii, r_victory, mela65, Adiljutt156 and katanic97 to update their translations.

in case other translators would like to make other translations for the topics already finished, I made also a sum-up with the missing translations for all topics we moved to "Finished" section. Until now no such assessment has been done for topics which are considered as "finished", therefore this should be a first time

I was wondering if AOBTers would like me to reiterate this assessment once in a while...? to have a heads-up on such available translations for finished topics...? But without PMing anyone -- only by making a post inside this thread, similar to that previous post. For example, after I wrote that post, katanic came up presenting some translations he made, which were added to the list and r_victory also showed interest in translating all the other topics he did not translate yet in Portuguese. So I thought that it is possible that others may wish to translate some finished topics,which they did not translate yet and such post would help in seeing which languages are still available for translations.

Writing such posts is a lot of work, I hope you can reuse the one you quoted to a certain extent, and that helps you not to work twice.
