I feel like this year election is becoming closer than ever, and it is going to be quite fun to see the situation we are going to be in. I am not saying that it will be one way or another, just saying that I feel it is getting closer. I am definitely sure that we are going to see Biden win the popular vote once again that would not be that hard, Democrats heavily outweight the republicans in population that part is true, but because it is EC that decides it, we have to consider the fact that we are going to see a lot of changes as well.

I believe that the best thing to do in this case should be something that will take a while, and we will not know until the very end when it's published, because until then all looks quite close to each other without a doubt.

Well, one of the best thing is to just gamble on them and let's on who's going to win. The odds are perfect with stake and I think that I might even drop some money to this election just for the sake of betting them. As much as I'd think of voting Trump but the odds, I guess that many wouldn't like that and Biden at 2.55 seems to be a good odd to gamble.

That is the thrill one is supposed to feel when the election is getting closer and one has stakes on one of the candidates. Since we are talking about gambling; in the case of dices, Plinko or mines, the thrill one feels is short and last just a second or a fraction of second. The thrill in sports lasts as long as the match is going and increased dramatically when the times is running out before declaring the winner.

Though, betting on an election like this one, for which the market to bet can remain opened for months and months, the sensation of thrill increases in a very slow but steady way, until it reaches its peak at election night, when each one of us will know whether we lost or won money (I am keeping the political aspect of the candidates aside, by the way).
I can assure you, as election day gets closer and news gets wackier when a literal convicted felon running for President, things are going to continue to get interesting and amusing.

I don't know the yardstick for given Donald Trump 1.7 odd and Joe Biden 2.55 odd, considering that the later is the sitting president and with the instrumentality of the states at his disposal in a democratic setting. I don't know the chances of Donald Trump at that election when they will unleash the media and the big techs against him like they did the last time. If Trump could be defeated as a sitting president, I wonder how possible it will be for him to win in the midst of the persecution he is facing. I will rather avoid this bet than take risk that is not too clear to me.

Yes  deeply concur to this fact , there is no angle that one will look at this bet as risk having a balance of 50-50 but extremely 100% as gainst trump, because if been in power could not defeat Joey Biden , such projected odd can't work possibility of him defeating the current seating president is hard.

All the allegation or charges against him may not allowed him to get certain vote support as mist masses will be confused and more to distract him is still coming, as all this will be a good strategies for Biden to reduce his weight towards the election, engaging on this bete will not yield result but wasting the money the risk has nothing to be considered as balanced ratio.

However, despite this economic bullishness, there are very many people who live from paycheck to paycheck and who are in financial difficulty despite working on 2 jobs.

I don't know about you, supporting a president only because he suddenly becomes pro-cryptocurrency (ignoring all his previous actions, his flaws and the fact he is pretty much in legal problems) does not make much sense to me, in the particular case of Donald Trump, people even seem to forget he is kind of a liar and he has kept much of his promises unfulfilled. He can talk all he wants on how now he loves Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, but if he wins the presidency then he could just do the bare minimum and reduce taxes on miners and Bitcoin holders a bit, that's all. He won't adopt Bitcoin as currency, he won't push for decentralization, and he is likely to continue to push for the implementation of a Central Bank Digital Currency. Because in the end, both Donald and Joe are the same dinosaurs trying to appeal to a young audience and voters by talking about stuff they don't really care about.
They are not Bukele and the United States is not El Salvador, Bukele kind of understands Bitcoin and it's benefits.
Trump only cares about cryptocurrency and is talking about it because he know it is a section of the voting population which has been ignored and even mistreated by Biden.

Right now, I am going through the polls at RealClearPolitics. Trump is leading Biden by +7 in Arizona, +32 in Utah, +2 in Pennsylvania, +6 in Florida, +7 in Ohio and +1 in Maine. If he is allowed to participate in the POTUS elections, then in all probability he is going to win the race. At this point, I would say that odds of 1.30 would be fair for Trump.

BTW, Trump has pledged to commute sentence of Ross Ulbricht, in case he is elected as the POTUS. That may win him a lot of the Libertarian vote. Anyway it doesn't make much sense to hand down life w/o parole to Ulbricht, just for setting up an online marketplace.

Gamblers who will be betting on election results are not just up to win the bet but they are most probably up to believing Trump in Whitehouse is better for the country than Biden.  At least that is what many believe these days and it could be true too.

It's an unusual parlay. The election is too far though so it's almost like investing in Trump while it's very unsure as to what will happen in the future. Biden could have him in prison and not even allow the media to interview Trump. I'm sure it's not the worst they could do to stay in power.

If we only talk about the possibility of further adoption of Bitcoin and the expansion of knowledge of Cryptocurrency in the United States, also allowing miners to have relatively fair taxes (which would allow them to continue to be in business) then I would definitely for for Biden instead of Trump. On the other hand, the orange guy has accumulated so many personal and political flaws which are difficult to ignore like me as someone who believe in democracy and the representation of the people by the people. I do not take those "dictator on day one" jokes very well.
I am also aware Biden will definitely force some regulations and taxes which won't be good for miners and holders who decide to sell their Bitcoin, because of taxes, he has also done good thinfs as well. You know, it is not all black and white, unfortunately Trump as a political figure is very good at polarizing the country.

I very much disagree that the democrat Biden will be better for the cryptospace. The democrats in the senate like the grandma Elizabeth Warren and the democrat who was appointed in the department of treasury, the grandma Yellen, have been very active in their anticrypto campaigns. There is also our favorite uncle, uncle Gary ehehhhe. If the democrats are given another 4 years, we can be quite certain that the cryptospace will continue to have more regulatory problems through uncle Gary's regulation by enforcement policy.

I doubt the democrat party would dare to replace Biden as their candidate, to be honest. They have already done much campaign, they have received millions of dollars onto the image of Biden. Even if Biden continued to misbehave and act out in public, he still have a good chance to defeat Trump.
We are already months away from election day, so all the democrat party can do about Biden and the bad media he could be receiving from Fox and News max is to mitigate and counter attack frontally, quite similar in the manner they did then Biden dared Trump to debate him on national Television.
Besides, if Biden  gets swapped by other candidate, it could be used by Republicans to "confirm" Biden was nothing but a puppet.Democrats do not like conspiracy theories.

It is quite similar in many places, but Michelle Obama getting more votes than Kamala Harris is still a big "what the hell?" to me. She wasn't even a candidate, and I understand her not putting her nomination at the current stage, and I understand DNC is looking a way to get rid of Biden too because he is really not looking like someone who could be president for four more years.

But Kamala Harris is the current VP, which means that she has the biggest pull right now, in fact if Biden passes away today, Kamala becomes the president. Not saying Obama has zero chance, just saying that Kamala must have a bigger chance, in all theory she is the next up, and how could Biden excusing himself out of the race would make Michelle a bigger nominee than the current VP? Just because she was the first lady once upon a time?
