Still nothing on the folding pool after 24h. No way to check if both the folding account are well linked?
Check to see if you are getting points according to Stanford's folding website. If they show you as having points wait another 24 hours and if the pool doesn't show anything then they are misslinked - are your usernames the same for both (case matters)? I have 65,183 points on Stanford Folding website. On both the pool and Stanford webstie, it seems that I have the same name. It seems that the Stanford website do not matter about case, may be only the pool does? I first crate an account with Boudje on Stanford website, then another one with boudje, and on the new one I still see some stats of the former one. On the pool the account is boudje, like the second on I create (30h ago). The user ID on the pool is not the name of the account on the Stanford website, only the name of the account should match?

It's not completely clear to me how you've set things up. The account name for the pool and the account name for the Stanford website must be exactly the same or you will not get paid. You must use that user ID in the Advanced control (Configuration) and you must generate a passkey, which I recommend writing down. You will need it if, for instance you want the account to be credited for the work of another F@H installation.

In my advanced control, configuration, my passkey is valid (entry matched), and my name is the same as the name of my account on the pool.

This is from the lead developer at F@H on reddit: Yeah and the CureCoin developers give themselves 10% of the profits. Plus they have centralized control of the distribution of coins. Their centralized servers gather publicly available data from Folding@home and enter it into the CureCoin network. If they screw this up or get hacked the whole coin is compromised. If Folding@home get's hacked or any of the 100s of Folding@home work servers which are run at Universities around the world gets hacked the coin is compromised.
I tried to work on these and other issues with the CureCoin developers but they responded quite hostility and charged ahead with CureCoin as is. As their website says, they have no affiliation with Folding@home or Stanford University.
Disclosure: I'm the lead developer at Folding@home.
http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/26xvh5/curecoin_cryptocurrency_based_on_coupling_sha256/who can say if this is really the lead dev of F@H it is easy to claim such things... Yes and one would think accurate information would at least be used if they are going to post about it. Sounds like more FUD. Not saying that the info is correct. But would like to hear comments from the devs about this part: "I tried to work on these and other issues with the CureCoin developers but they responded quite hostility".

Any idea of estimated profit from the gpu folding. I don't mind helping but I need to at least break even.
Steve
1 7950 = 110k PPD = 3.67 Curecoins a day = $1.84/day = don't know what GPUs or profitability you have so I can't give you better numbers. This is ridicoulus. What am I doing wrong then? I am averaging 8 coins per day with 5 x R9 270, or this makes 1.6 coin per card!! I need more info than this - what numbers are you getting in PPD for each of those 270s. Between 50k and 60k. Rather 60k.

The username of the pool should match your username that you are folding with and case does matter i.e. cameron and Cameron wouldn't be the same. If you are seeing points with Stanford's Folding Website and have the same user than your points will appear on cryptobullionpools within 36 hours from now.

Rather 60k. 60k is fine for that graphics card. A 7950 is more equivalent to a 280 and a 7970 to a 280x. A 270 is noticeably slower. However, 8 coins / day is still $4/day.

To give you a better idea:
Rig: 6 x R9 280x mined time: 30 hours Curecoin earned: 23.49 CURE
Thats an average of 3.13 CURE/Day/GPU (R9 280x GPU)
Current CURE value to BTC = 0.0005 CURE/BTC (3.13 CURE x 0.0005 BTC = 0.0015 BTC/Day/GPU)

I voted. Guys we need more buy support - and the developers need to start doing projects with their funds.
Noted. If you'd rush out and buy as much as you can at 0.0014, that would be a great start!

I've put all my funds into it - sadly I'm out of Bitcoin at this point but when I get more I'll start buying - but I'll buy at current market prices and work out. Still interested in hear what the developers will do for promotion.
