Why is the thread self-moderated? This just removes any sort of transparency, and people will already doubt the coin if its self-moderated. its just better to leave it open and handle things publicly to see the "true" coin, possibly they will trust it even more/

How to login into windows wallet after setting forging password? I mentioned the same thing a few pages back. The back button is missing for some reason. They will put one in. In the meantime hitting backspace on your keyboard works.

I understand how you feel and I'm sure some agree. But if you want my opinion and I know that you do, self-moderated works in some cases. I didn't even notice Crypti was such. Doesn't really matter to me.

Doesn't really matter to me. To my knowledge, nothing has ever been removed from the Crypti thread other than updating the OP to reflect current project status and links. Constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement are welcomed. Feedback from the the communication is very important to the Crypti development effort. We have seen the utility of other project threads severely degraded when trolls post page after page repeating the same comments over and over. Extremely offensive content also gets posted from time to time. Self moderation provides a means to remedy these types of situations should they arise.

Syrenity (Stas) just updated the Windows version in two ways.
1.) The executable is now signed, so it doesn't appear mistakenly as malware again. (Or other various Windows warnings) 2.) There is now a back button at the forging panel.
The OSX version also inherit the back button now.
Download links and version number (a0.1.9a) are all the same like before.

I discovered a bug...... the BACK button was invisible on the FORGING page. There is now an updated version 9a that fixes that. A work-around was to login to FORGING, and click on "save the pass to the config file". Then restart the node and avoid the Forging page, as forging will start automatically that way.

Not as of this moment. Polo is up and running. Boris spent several hours with them to get it online.

As Litoshi said, Polo is now up and running, SyRenity is still trying to get in touch with Lin from BTER to find out if they hit a snag or what might be holding them up. Boris is trying to get in touch and work with Cryptsy now that Polo is fixed to see if they need any help.

We are very open about the coin and it's history. We have pages and pages of trolls from the first 3 or 4 months, which you can read their comments and my responses. We also have pages and pages of trolls when our originally forging method failed and we had to scrap the entire system and start over. Those comments and our responses are still there. We have nothing to hide and have been completely 100% open about development and very responsive to the community and their thoughts and ideas. It was originally done as a precaution in the case that people from other coins or just really disastrously annoying trolls showed up and tried to ruin the thread. Most of the time we individually ignored them and as bitseed said, I don't even know if we have ever actually deleted a post. I know SyRenity removed one of mine once because I posted some info before I should have, but other than that we have never used moderation.

The switch to DPOS will be a major change, and as such will need to work correctly right out of the box........... no time for patches or shutdowns. This update will require more than the usual 48 hrs on testnet. It will be ready when it is thoroughly tested and bug free, and not a day sooner

I ask this because I have been forging and with transfer to DPOS it will not be available . I have to know approximately when so that my VPS billing will cease.

Proof of Time was abandoned when it proved to be not scalable way back. The Node Reward Program and the present forging works on random selections.

Might as well for me to start campaigning for a position to be a delegate
