Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Nah, quite the contrary. I'm happy to have passionate discussion with you, even if we disagree (that makes discussions even more interesting).
What I wish is that you don't die before getting proven wrong (and after that, the later the better obviously)

Gold is recently at new highs for the Euro, Argentine Peso, Brazilian Real, Swiss Franc, Indonesian Rupiah, Indian Rupee, Pakistan Rupees and South African Rand. You'll see new highs in US dollars, Great British Pounds, Japanese Yen and others reasonably soon.

Google is a good place to start. :-)

Look at http://goldprice.org which is a good website to quickly check on the gold price in multiple currencies.

The problem with the tungsten bars is not gold, it's the counterparty. If you know what your bar's gold content is, there's no issue. Small investors may be spooked, but any party of size will have no problem paying the relatively minor amount to have their gold assets verified.

Stop thinking only about individuals buying one ounce a year - look at the big players; they're stomping the grass to startle the snakes again.
