sunnankar; that was brilliant!

my favorite parts:

1.  "Bitcoin has crawled out of the sludge"  Cheesy

2.  "you can go extinct if you want"  Cheesy

you'd better watch out Gold!

That was brilliant indeed  Smiley Kudos to you sunnankar

miscreanity asked me months ago on this thread when i would capitulate and turn bullish on gold.  i told him here that if gold can get over the February high of 1793 then i'll admit i'm wrong.  you all are so close so you'd better buy the hell out of gold just to prove me wrong.

i don't think it gets there.

LOL... I've been digging around for a gold bubble in february year 1793!  Coincidentally, it turns out to be a really interesting year.  The 1st US coinage was struck then.  But as you all know, the price was pegged at 20 bucks...

This thread was started 3/13:

Bitcoin  5.40

Gold 1690

today 9/17:

Bitcoin 11.68 (up ~116%)

Gold 1756   (up ~4%)

BTC seems to rising slightly, after the 35% crash,  from the 10-11 range.

The PM's seem to be taking a breather today after all the post QE announcement bliss.

BTC is still outperforming gold.

GPL 2.32  (Silver lg  @ 1.98)  up 17%

Nah, I don't think it's a good bet. It can easily hit 1751, especially with tonight close Tongue
I was more thinking about a close over 1793 before year's end. How's that ?

btw you might have a bad influence on me, I'll probably swap some pm into btc soon. Blasphemy !  Grin

Problem is I don't have enough fiat these days to achieve the PM/BTC distribution I want.

Lack of fiat is an ongoing problem. Getting worse, too.
