Nice. Does it improve your hashes? considering how much those two little boxes must be earning, i think your security might need beefing up...

Flash those suckers to 8GH/s and then tell us what the temps are! Still trying to get that Atmel AVR Dragon. It's not quite accessible here in singapore... looks like a £1 notebook cooler underneath those bad boys i assume its blowing down? Good eyesight but it's suppose to blow upwards instead. Didn't switch that on because RPi doesn't have enough power once I plug that in...

Flash those suckers to 8GH/s and then tell us what the temps are! what's the temp of burning PCB? PCB begins to thermally decompose (it stinks, too) at about 250-300 degrees Celsius. Of course, other components and the chips will fail by then.

Its funny, this was the farm that got me started thinking about making cables to organize the mess of wires that they could become.

[...] Wow! What are all those?
~15.5GH/s worth of Icarus miners. Less than 1/4 the hash I get from a single black box. Of which I currently have two. Two more on the way. We've come a long way in a short time https://i.imgur.com/CjmZ4rC.png

... wont it end up fighting the fans blowing air down? or are you trying to get it to blow the cooler air from underneath upwards? i have one blowing over my USB ASICs atm It wasn't intended to be turned on. I wanna rise it slightly up due to the fan within the Jala will be blowing directly on the base of my TV console. It was meant for better air circulation. Next project is to buy a wine chiller and put them inside after i ROI from these chillies and flash to 8GH/s Nice, I'm thinking to get some of those USB ASIC also. It's much MUCH quieter than these noisy chillies.

That's right. But let's stop and think for a while: I've seen very stupid cooling solutions, including BFL's take on that matter. It's quite well known that cool air is heavier than hot air. Hot air always flows naturally upwards. The Jalapeño pushes cold air from the top and pushes it downwards to the other side's venting. But that's not even close to smart... When my Jalapeño arrives, I intend to remove the case (and fan, possibly) and create a vertical wind tunnel with two cones, to create a Venturi effect on the heat sink. The fan will move to the top cone, forcing the air out or to the bottom cone, forcing the air in (haven't decide or tested yet). If possible, I'll have the hot air exhaust to the exterior using an H pipe chimney:

In Jalapeno cold air is pulled from the below intake, pushed upwards and vented through the upper exaust.
