Looks like am going to end up moving off http://cryptomining.farm/ if it continues to  have problems have proxy running as said and also seems to keep disconnecting and just now no deadline error.

I finally managed to deploy a crowdfunding AT for my project at BURST-RUL4-HV8X-C2US-79AAU:
Quote
zRMicroArray is a gene expression analysis software, which implements all of the functionalities, needed for preprocessing and statistically analyzing single-color cDNA microarray data. The software is free for noncommercial use and it allows scientific laboratories, institutes, universities, students, etc. to reduce their budget on expensive software and concentrate it on research and experiments. The current fully working version should be rewritten based on 5 years of user experience and feedback. Support for Next Generation Sequencing data should be implemented and additional graphical representations of the data and results would contribute big to the software. Donations will help to make zRMicroArray a viable tool for a researcher to find a cure or a better and cheaper diagnostics for a disease, and could lead to better understanding of the underlying regulatory mechanisms of the living cell. Fairly awesome and laudable project mate. It is great to have something like this on Burst CF.

A while ago I was looking into "bioinformatics", it is quite an interesting field, though my knowledge of biology is fairly limited Cheesy

I enabled "debug" in Blago's miner and surprised to see some discarded messages.

Is this normal?

Looks like a very interesting project.. probably won't be participating due to this clause though:
"Donations (if any) will be converted to XMR and kept there until a substantial amount is reached."

Btw, would be nice if you had a goal that you actually needed to reach somewhere, so we knew how much you actually needed and how realistic it would be to raise that much.

As in the lottery case I created a html file for making things easier for anyone interested in creating his project or help funding the project. If you want to use the html file then copy it under html/ui/ directory.
The resulting html looks like that:

You can find the corresponding html here: http://burstcoin.info/d/cf
and the assembly code of the CF case here: http://pastebin.com/09j994Yc

Sorry for the inconvenience, but http://burstcoin.info/d/cf is working again.

Details: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=932075.0
Project details: zRMicroArray (bitcointalk)
Inspirational video: The Inner Life of the Cell (Harvard University) (watch it with sound)

For the phase 2 of the project as defined in the zRMicroArray - phase 2 goals (bitcointalk) involves some consulting with professors, PhD students and researches. That's a lot of communication with different teams currently using the software in order to sketch the design of the new version. I suppose most of them will be responsive and will be willing to help, but maybe I'll need some payed consultations here ant there. My approximation of the funds needed for phase 2 of the project is anything between 5000$ and 9000$. Phase 3 of the project will involve the actual implementations - a lot of statistical/bioinformatics packages are already there to use and open-source, but the NGS problems for different platforms/methods/genomes could be a huge development/research/experiments effort. At the end of phase 2 I'll have a good approximation for phase 3 funds needed, I hope. For phase 3 I'll definitely need at least one more developer. If the approximation for phase 3 is way too high, then my intention is to first try to optimize it and try to get funds to implement those things, which will take less effort, but are still valuable to the project. The current fully functional version took me 8 months to develop (without a single dollar of funding), and the next version would definitely take more at least an year. I know of a commercial tool with almost the same functionality as the current zRMicroArray version, which took a team of 3 people two years to develop. I know that this sentence "Donations (if any) will be converted to XMR and kept there until a substantial amount is reached." could withhold some support for the project, but that's what I intent to do and I believe it's the right thing to state it now. So many IPO/ICO/shitcoin obvious scams collected tens of millions in funds, but I'm not sure it's realistic to raise any funds for such a bioinformatics project in the current bear state of cryptocurrencies at general; however, I can't fund the project on my own so I'm willing to try crowdfunding it.

burst.ga will be moving to new code within a couple days. please bear with us. The current code is very buggy and that's why we've spent the time developing a completely new coded pool.

I am planning on moving the pool to the new code today or tomorrow. Please bear with me.

edit: I will also do a bonus payment once I have switched the code over, total of 200k in 5-6 injections into the pool's wallet. Once we're running on the new code on burst.ga

-[ANNOUNCEMENT -BURST.GA CODE CHANGE]-

I have decided to make the change now, the pool will have downtime, please bear with me during the process.

After the successful change, I will do a large bonus payout of 200k from my own pocket to the pool wallet, to compensate for buggy code.

Thank you for your patience in this matter.

Okie Dokie, We're back!!!

http://burst.ga:8124 (working on a redirect so port 80 brings up stats, but right now everything is on 8124) Miners are already reconnected. Everything should be good!

We will modify the settings on payouts based on suggestions from people, but for right now we have it setup the same way as the other pool. So let me know if you feel the payouts system could benefit from any modifications.

Thank you and enjoy the new code!

p.s. if your miner didn't reconnect automatically, please restart it. If it still doesn't connect, please clear your DNS cache and try again, but everything should be good to go at this point. Thank you for mining with us!

edit2- burst.ga stats are now accessible as they were before, on port 80. http://burst.ga

Thanks!

But not so decentralized - as someone I know said Wink

Only download the blockchain from the site if you got problems  Smiley

This is working again, but only use if you can't get the blockchain from you peers Smiley

Second is the full one. I like this:

BURST has since its launch in August 2014 been offering cutting edge technology to the community and with the release of the Turing-complete Smart Contracts, BURST is, once again, one step ahead of the competition; making hard drive capacity mining cryptocurrency BURST a true second generation cryptocurrency.

Hey,

The Crowdfund case is here and ready to be used to fund your projects and ideas. The rules are simple.
You define a name, a description, the total duration of the crowdfunding and the total amount you need to gather. After the duration you have set, the AT checks the total amount gathered and if is greater than the one you have asked, the total amount is sent back to the ATs creators account. If the project is not successfully funded then refunds all the participants the amount they have sent minus the fees the AT needs for processing ( approx. 7 bursts ).

After the crowdfund case is done, the AT acts as a donation address, where any amount sent to the AT goes to the creator of the AT.

If you are considering using BURST's new crowdfunding feature, and even if you aren't, I would like to point to this case:

Quote
ATDevelopmentFund
The purpose of this case is to provide funding to help extend the technical work and general product development and marketing for AT inside the burst platform.

The ATDevFund is asking for 1,000,000 BURST, and already +20% is collected (among them my lottery winnings, as I promised...).

I'm not pointing to this case because I'd like some devs being richer or being able to launch scam coin.

Remember that BURST was launched without any pre-mine, without any IPO/ICO - so damn many people are working for free with this coins to, quoting that article, being: "once again, one step ahead of the competition". BURST didn't make any promises to collect a single damn BTC. The devs have just worked and worked - and shown result after result after result.

People have not only worked for free but also but their own money into this project, and we are many that made some decent money off that. That's the reason I donated a, for some, kinda large sum tonight, and for some, just peanuts.

The sum that you are donating really doesn't matter. It's the act of donating that is more important, showing those working hard for free that you really appreciate what they are doing. And will be doing.

As someone with a bit of insight on what is coming up, I know you and the market will love it when it is completed by these awesome guys. So please considering a donation to the ATDevelopmentFund and filling that 1mill cap!

While doing so, we'll also make sure that the crowdfunding case is working properly, a news on its own.

some debugging going on with burst.ga at the moment, getting the code accustomed to the larger miner count. No worries everything is fine, may be a few random outages. We're on it.
