deadline 165 and no block
What does the deadline number mean?

I believe it is the number of seconds until the block is yours. Unless someone else claims it faster.

Dev-

How can we rate the network? Would you base it on the number of TB in use? Do you have those stats at this time?  I am just curious.

Hashrate is obviously the wrong term and I am not sure what to call it.

I started pretty much right away. Had 200 GB and found 6 blocks. Last one was 168. I am sure the "difficulty" is much higher at this point. Working on setting up 4.5 TB. Curious how that compares to what others are doing.

For what it is worth to those watching the miner display. Just got my 7th block and the deadline was 122. I imagine the deadline will need to pretty low at this point.

difficulty adjustment will maintain so that blocktime is 240 secs, so if ur deadline is less than 240 its always there will be huge chance for block creation

How do you tell it to generate those plots on another drive.  My java in installed in my primary drive and it only wants to plot there where there isn't enough room the VM it says.  Need to plot on my E drive.

deadline does not decrease, deadline is resulted from hash based on ur address and possible nonce, the more nonce u got, higher chance that ur deadline is smaller.

there are no thing such as number of share, u always put one share each block, on every share u have deadline value, if other has lower deadline, then u willl never get a chance to found a block on current block

I see lots of 'willing to sell' statements.  Anybody actually make a deal?  If so what price did you get/pay?

sold 10k burst for 10k sats, fair price considering the efforts to get one block

this makes no sense, no community as no one in theyr right minds will go trought all the trouble,

also only people here are sellers, like the clam crap , all will sell no buys.

the way this is heading only a small amount of people are going to get the coins and dump them asap... like 2-3 pool owners i heard already.

nice idea, but too complicated for most, easier to make a coin then mine this one lol.

ill pass but good luck

dev should award some bitcoin or some burst coin for who design the icon,  every one can submit an icon drawn by himself in this place, and the best one chosen to be the icon of busrt coin , a better icon makes a great coin Grin

At least he's submitting shares. I haven't since I start 24 hours ago, a share and/or block. Maybe I have the settings wrong and/or because I'm running this via a 500GB ext drive, as the dev suggested running it USB 3.0 or a similar throughput interface.

Really? I think that most people could get a block in a day or two with some effort.  Some people have 10+ blocks.  Even at 1 block a week that is 4 BTC a month for mining with one machine.
i think you've done very well to get that price.  I'd happily sell at 10k sats all day.  I'll expect to buy them at no more than 1k pretty soon
