That's great but the fact he tweeted it means 860,000 people have Getgems in front of their face on Twitter. It could break to a mainstream news story possibly.

If China is shut out of this app? then why don't we just get someone who understands Chinese and the app system there to get on one or more of the big app stores in China? Maybe it's a hidden opportunity?

Ah I thought it was more a google play store block thing rather than a Telegram block. remove the word telegram from the description?..

As a test, I transferred 3 gemz from the app to a counterwallet - received 2 Gemz and some bitcoin dust. Is that normal behavior?

Yes, a counterparty transaction was created (this is way you see bitcoin dust) and the fee is 1 gemz (instead of miners fee which are being paid for you)

Shapeshift within the app would be nice or maybe a type of shapeshift run by GetGems so they aren't giving the fees to someone else.  It would be nice to convert from gems to btc within the app and vice versa

I know there are other things in the works, just thought I'd throw that out there.

Today I'm seeing quite a quickening of likes on FB and Twitter followers. I sense a growing exponential growth, early still but definitely increasing.

I'll sound a bit sad but I checked how many people liked FB page today, very roughly there were around 25 new likes in roughly around 6 hours. I know I'm making a lot of assumptions but say you assume therefore that means 100 new users every day then it's clear the momentum of downloads has increased....and will as time goes on.


Interestingly FB says that the most popular city for likes is now London England....before it was Israel, Tel aviv.

- Average age
- Gender
- Country

It would be nice if the Getgems team could update us about these things.

You have to be logged in to look at the average age, I think it was as expected around 25-35.
I think we are in classic early building stage, I have zero doubts this app will have at least 500,000-1,000,000 downloads.

How long ago? Exchanges are often slow, I would give any exchange an hour or two before I even started to get concerned.
