I can't send gemz to other wallet on an exchange site. Is there a problem?

 I mean them gemz won't send. Just now, I'm trying to send some now but I get an error it says try again later.

You have to be logged in to look at the average age, I think it was as expected around 25-35.
I think we are in classic early building stage, I have zero doubts this app will have at least 500,000-1,000,000 downloads.

I am logged in, but I cannot see anything in those statistics except the total amount of likes and the amount of new likes.

I'm on mobile/tablet I dunno of it makes a difference, click on where it says how may likes...I have liked and follow the page, if that makes any difference.

Interesting change, the most popular city has changed in one day from London UK to Kuala Lumpa! Good we are getting downloads in Asia, Malaysia is a linking country made up of distinct groups of Chinese, Malay and Indians...awesome food I've heard.

Yup seems Malasia is the leading country with the most downloads. Great to see GG spreading in Asia, but i wonder if it can be available in China.

before the end of august 2015 will be more than 10 000 i gauge based on the current pace. But i can be wrong as things can explode and become exponential. for e.g. airdrop gets implemented in August. when things spread like wildfire, especially if its a case of which tree *wants* to get burn first (people who join early benefit the most), yea...it gets really hyppening.

Well we already have 10,000 downloads. I personally would like to see 50,000 downloads by Christmas but who knows..

I'm a big believer that apps and software are popular if it becomes effortless to join and addictive to use. I think since inviting people became a one button action and now the app is looking fun and addictive receiving daily coins etc then the pace could speed up quite quickly. I feel bad China is blocked though cause I think the app really would do well there.


Design wise I'm amazed at what Gemz is doing, far more than My expectations.

As growth continues, at one point such thing will happen. GG has the best chance in this.

One more question. I was one of the first downloads. I registered under a certain name, saved my secret passphrase, etc. I decided to uninstall the app 2 months ago because of extreme data usage (my former username here was clochard). I reinstalled the app recently and tried to open my account with my secret passphrase. It did so, however I don't have the same username as I used to have and I cannot change it to the old name, because it is saying that is is already in use. Moreover, the Bitcoin balance is now 0, while I used to have more or less 5 euro in Bitcoin in the app. Lastly, the current secret passphrase is different than I used to have.

I find this weird, as it seems that a new account is created. However, I still have my Gems balance up to date in the app with all the referals of which most of them were already done during the first months of this year.

Las but not least, I tried to check my balance of Gems which I bought in the presale in the counterwallet. Website is not loading though. Any ideas why this is?

Updating to Android version 449 or iOS version 1.17 (or above) required to open a new bitcoin wallet. Step 1, write your passphrase if you haven't done so already. Step 2, in-app BTC balance will show zero. Your existing BTC will need to be transferred to the new BTC wallet address using https://bip32jp.github.io/english/recovergems.html (type your old passphrase) for the BTC to be displayed by the App.

Your old passphrase will only work in counterwallet. New GetGems passphrase now uses the "default" layout mentioned in the BIP32 spec. (this one time change was needed because counterparty isn't using the default key words to generate their passphrase thus isn't compatible with other apps in the bitcoin ecosystem)

To make things clear:
(1) New GetGems passphrase can be used in https://web.hivewallet.com/ and https://multibit.org/ to recover bitcoins (not gems)
(2) https://counterwallet.coindaddy.io/ can be used for gems on-chain.
(3) in-app Gems are off-chain, meaning they wont show in https://counterwallet.coindaddy.io/.

The update also introduced a major concept change in the GetGems ecosystem. Up until now, each user had to deal with 2 usernames, one GetGems name and one Telegram name. This has caused a huge amount of confusion when searching for users on our platform. Now, your new GetGems username will be the same as Telegram’s so you can search for users easily and quickly. Unfortunately it seems a Telegram user already had your name, you can change your username in the setting tab.
