I love satoshi dice. And recently I discovered a player with more than 2k btc profit. I just want to know that is he legit?
Where did u discover this? Could u please point out to the exact link?

I am pretty sure he is referring to an old article or screenshot or something. Back when BTC was like $100-200 or so.

How about this user https://www.satoshidice.com/user/9d886d9ca94946aba6a03bcc1537ef0b
This user has total gross won of more than 2700BTC. The question is, is total gross profit = total profit? And this user is created this year, so the price of btc is still considered high.

Total won != Total profit

If you bet 1 BTC at 50% chance, win 1x, and lose 1x,
then your "total won" is 1 BTC but your profit is 0 BTC.
(Simplified, not taking house edge into account)

is there a way to see the total number of BTC wagered then?

You also see the "Luck" for each player. A 100% luck means the player has won exactly 100% of what he wagered (before the 1.9% house cut). At the time of writing this, the player you mentioned has won 2,754.990550 BTC (before the house cut, the "Total Gross Won" figure) with a 101.596549% luck.

This means he wagered 2,754.990550 / 101.596549% = 2,711.69697900 BTC and won 2,754.990550 * 98.1% = 2,702.64572955 after the house cut.

So in the end he lost around 9 BTC.

Would not complain to win 9 BTC but it is significantly less than what I thought he had won.

Still cant withdraw... Seems I can log in but when I try to cashout I get logged out!?

Tried in a few different browsers as well...

What has happened Satoshi Dice?

You used to be the 'The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game.' Now I can't even log in and withdraw my bitcoins. You used to get all the betting volume and now everyone goes to other dice sites. You used to be competitive and now you have a house edge nearly double of everyone else Sad

You really should of read the reviews first before depositing money in this website. Lately they have been having alot of issues with solvency. Hopefully you get your deposit back.

Exactly the same issue, being kicked out and the account says 0. There solvency proof is still at 71%, thousands of BTC still available in their addresses so I think this might be some technical glitch.

It did? Great, wasn't aware of this.

How long did it take to get this issue fixed last time?

IIRC it took around one day, I woke up one morning and it did not work, the morning after it did. It may as well have been a couple of days though.

Withdrawal still works if you are still logged in from before.
Logging out and logging back in doesn't work. I assume one of their database servers crashed?

Looking closer it does log you in. It then tries to retrieve your data, it fails and logs back out. It definitely looks like a database problem.

The SD site seems very slow from here maybe its under a DDoS attack, I can't even check to see if the login works or not for me.

We're currently under DDoS attack. No bitcoins are at risk.
