Was there an update on his last Q&A ? What does that make now? 6-7 that he's started and never answered? I find it insane that no one questions that.

I am not sure what to make of this.  Huh Are these wallet estimations anywhere near accurate? I do see the disclaimer on the page on the right, but how "off" can they really be? From what you see here, the great "Paybase" has a grand total of 18 wallets with XPY in them, totaling  188 XPY. WTF?

I also see Bittrex being listed as having more XPY total on the exchange than Cryptsy does. Possible I guess, although there is several times more activity on Cryptsy compared to Bittrex. Again, not exactly sure what to make of all of this.  Huh Other takes on what we can see here? :     https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xpy/#!wallets

Edit to add: The link isn't working correctly. Go to the link and hit the Largest Wallets tab and select "address count" in the selection window.

All of my posts are simply statements of my own personal opinions based on available information and pondering what might be possible considering human nature, with the goal of finding truth and preventing fraud. Please look at all of the facts and theories and put your thinking cap on to draw your own conclusions. If you feel that I have made a false statement or have been unnecessarily derogatory, I encourage you to please point it out, and if proven correct and/or reasonable I will remedy it. ~ Paul Revere

https://beta.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-XPY - If you click distribution you can see there's a couple people with several thousand. Would be interesting to monitor those wallets daily.

Shouldn't a cold wallet still show on the Blockchain (and hence this explorer) though? Or would it show but have an address not associated with a particular exchange?

I suggest you check the exchanges. The XPY story is nowhere near over. Millions of $ to go, unless the pump/dump process all the way down to 1 Satoshi is interrupted by the Gubment or investors/lawyers. That is a heck of a lot of people who are going to get hurt by this scam still.  If you are satisfied that this story is over you are not required to click this thread. Problem solved.

Point taken.

I guess that means I'll have to wait a few more months for Suchmoons fat lady meme Huh

The GAW/paybase story and the XPY story aren't the same things though. GAW and paybase are separate companies for that matter, so potentially they could let paybase go bankrupt and GAW could continue.

GAW/paybase are acting like they're on the verge of bankruptcy. Losing employees, doing nothing that costs them significant money, selling off assets, etc. But if closing down the mining got the SEC off their back, and their expenses are cut deeply enough, they could limp along for a while. Maybe long enough for GAW to kill the paybase LLC and launch some new scheme with a new LLC and a new audience of suckers. And probably a handful of the truly faithful suckers from HT.

But XPY as an alt coin might be around for years, deep down in the coinmarketcap list. Here's what the future of paycoin looks like:
http://www.reddit.com/r/virtacoin
http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/virtacoin/

It's the remnant of a scam called VirtaPay/Virtacoin that made promises that might remind you of paycoin. For a while they were spamming every crypto reddit sub which is the only way they could get any attention. They have a handful of True Believers who try to get companies to accept the coin, etc. Delusion so thick you could cut it with a knife. Daily volume around twenty bucks.

Think Gaw will just let paybase die a slow death and Gaw itself concentrate on some form of cloudmining again with hashlets or something like that.It will slowly dis associate itself from paybase and paycoin over time.

This thread could really use less old memes. If you really feel the urge to post a meme do everyone a favour and make it small. Thank you Smiley

Here is a new meme made especially for you!

P.S: If anything a member posts in this thread bothers you I suggest ignoring them. I, for instance, have you ignored. I took a peek at your post for grins and to see if maybe you actually had something to add to the conversation, but alas, it was of course your usual useless whining like  a bitch post. Have a Nice Day!

Finally, a post of yours I liked! I'm glad I didn't ignore you earlier ...

Doubtful considering they've sold off a massive amount of their mining gear both through oneminer and more recently through gawminers.

Unless the company disassociates itself totally with a Garza himself (A proven scammer) they don't stand a chance of recovery in my opinion.  Of course that probably won't happen.

Homero Joshua Garza is toxic.  I wouldn't trust him to mow my lawn.

Are you implying GAW cant offer cloudmining without owning hardware? As if that's ever stopped them in the past?

I think the real problem is that the majority have lost confidence in this con man. Nobody in the world of crypto would even consider in investing in any of Joshs next schemes.

What are these people basing this on?

Math, Common Sense, and History say that a merchant will dump crypto as soon as they get it. Even a small (~$5,000/day) merchant would drive the price of XPY down an extra decimal place or two every day. There has to be liquidity (Buy Bid) depth enough to absorb a merchant or it simply does not work. XPY is no where near being able to support real merchants. "Somebody" told these idiots that merchants accepting XPY will instantly drive the price up and they never stopped to think about the way it actually works.

All of my posts are simply statements of my own personal opinions based on available information and pondering what might be possible considering human nature, with the goal of finding truth and preventing fraud. Explain how no bank fees for merchants drives XPY price up, Dave. Please, amaze us with your intelligence.  For the moment you can even ignore the fact that merchants having to hire tech staff and pay them to do these crypto  transactions and the fact that they will lose money as they dump their coins every day, which are both huge expenses.

You did not explain how this translates into making the XPY price go up. Simple question , Dave. CONCENTRATE.

Plus: Hiring tech staff to deal with crypto costs money, by the way, dumbass.
