Don't play there, don't deposit there. It's a huge risk, has been for long. The site is far from reliable.

I remember some 2 years back safedice had signature campaign here and I gambled at that time and all went smooth and quicker but not sure what happened to them later on. I mean they were not promoting themselves among this crypto community and due to this reason they might have been failed to keep attracting new and repeating gamblers. When there are no frequent gamblers and at least 10% of them not depositing some cryptos to try their luck, I guess, no house will be able to survive and keep their reputations.

Safedice seems like a living proof and big lesson for emphasizing the importance of keeping active campaigns here. Not sure how many houses are learning from this .

Maybe he's not aware that the owner of the site is inactive. Winning doesn't stop him from withdrawing their hot wallet is empty that's why he can't withdraw his winnings.
From experience, when you lack self control and can't withdraw your coins sometimes you get the urge to play more.

Good analysis, I did not check his post history as I was thinking it was a newly created account.
With your post, I then did a background check on his account and it was created on March 06, 2018 and I was surprised that he
made number of post in primedice which I presume that he is playing with the site, I can't also understand why he needs to play
with a scammy site when he is already in a reputable site, in terms of games, there is no difference as safedice is only for dice alone.

Unfortunately for months now it has been difficult getting any currency out of this website. Basically there is speculation that the owner is in prison for other charges and he hasn't been able to maintain the website because... you aren't allowed to use a computer in prison.

I hope you didn't keep a large portion of your funds on Safedice because it might be months before your withdraw is actually processed if ever. This is why in the future its better to read the thread first before making any deposits because its been over a year of these delays of halted payments. Hence the reason why the admin was given red trust recently, so prevent more people getting their crypto trapped in the website.

I'm afraid you'll have to hope for 1) admin returning and 2) admin honoring SafeDice's account balances if they return.

Presumably SafeDice has a cold and hot wallet set up, meaning that any amount that is available in the hot wallet is withdrawable instantly, with the hot wallet being refilled out of cold storage manually. So with the SafeDice admin AWOL there's no one to refill the hot wallet (apart possibly from coins being freshly deposited from unsuspecting users).

IIRC Monero had an upgrade hard fork a couple of months back, so to make matters worse SafeDice's Monero node / hot wallet is likely outdated and not available to properly handle transactions either way.

Where did you hear about this rumor, any other details why he is imprisoned and how long he will be there? If it is true that he is in prison, then there is nothing you can do except waiting till he is freed.

Probably best to ask NLNico, he posted that in the trust feedback:

There are rumors that the owner is in prison (for unrelated things.) I do not know if this is true, but I do know the owner has not been active for a long time. Therefor I would stay away from SafeDice.

Since it's a rumour, don't expect to hear any specific details. But I'm also curious on how it originated.
