Yo gizzig. I just messed up another withdrawal and came here to check if the hot wallet was empty but then I realized that I made a mistake. It's very easy to mess up XMR withdrawals on SafeDice and it's never obvious what you missed so I made this checklist to help myself. I think it will help others here as well. SD withdraw checklist 1.Check you have enough xmr balance. Investors need to divest first. 2.Use only basic standard address. No integrated addresses. 3.Payment ID is mandatory. Use a 64 char hex string. If sending to a wallet you control, use this https://www.grc.com/passwords.htm4.2FA is not optional if you have it set up. Check the time on 2fa device(phone) is correct. 5.If it still fails try a lower amount. The hot wallet may be low or empty. Check the BCT thread.

Hopefully SD updates the way their Monero wallet works but I wouldn't expect them to (or even want them to since it would be a waste) until 0MQ and sub-addresses are finished and implemented.

I accidentally sent my bitcoin deposit to the BCH deposit address. Is my deposit gone? Can safedice help me get my deposit?
It can be recovered, can take a lot of time.. send an email to support@safedice.com (maybe they'll recover it). i hope the amount isn't significant. It was a significant sum. I have been e-mailing, fb messaging SafeDice all night, but no response so far. I am sick to the stomach because of all this. I just wanted to invest in the bank. When the fault is on your side then no choice you have to wait for their reply because they may be busy with other things. You just need to follow up with them after one or two days. Don't send continuous emails for the same issue because these things take time and good luck to you to get back your coins...

Don't rely on this thread too much. If you need support you should send an email to support@safedice.comExplain your issue properly and eventually it will get solved. @thesourc3 thanks for answering, I guess the 2x fork is over and nothing should be done from SD side. I think the only new coin we will have to expect on SD is BTG

Introducing 0.5% Variable House EdgeTo provide players with a better experience, we invented the variable house edge system. It provides an incredibly low house edge for players most of the time and also a bigger max win when a player wants to bet higher. By default, the house edge is of 0.5%, which is lower when compared to other dice sites. When a player wants to make a bigger winning than 0.25% of the bankroll, a higher house edge will be triggered. So far, more than 99% of the bets on SafeDice have a 0.5% edge, so most of the time, a player won't even notice the system. Is it better than standard flat house edge?Of course it is better, let’s take an example for sites with same half kelly calculation: http://s26.postimg.org/bej47m689/vhe_chart_2.png- Flat House Edge
You play with 1% house edge and max win 0.5% of the bankroll. For every bet with a potential profit that is less than 0.5% of the bankroll, you will use a flat 0.5% house edge. You are not allowed to bet higher amounts.
- Variable House Edge
When you play with a potential profit of 0.5% of the bankroll, you still use the same 1% house edge. For every bet with a potential profit of less than 0.5% of the bankroll, you will use a lower house edge, as low as 0.5% house edge. The site also allows you to bet with an amount higher than 0.5% of the bankroll with a higher house edge.
True Provably FairSafeDice generates a roll from the combination of the server seed, your client seed and number of rolls you have made using the server seed. You will be able to see the hash of the server seed before you set your client seed. There are many implementations of the provably fair system. While most of them allow you to verify that the rolls are based on your client seed, not all of them show the server seed hash before allowing you to set your client seed. This means those sites are able to learn your behaviour and set the server seed so that it is beneficial for them. SafeDice shows the server seed hash before you set your client seed, ensuring you get the fairest rolls. Security MattersBy enabling 2FA authenticator, your account's security is taken to the next level. Most of the coins are kept in cold storage which is separated from the server. A Warm CommunityWe believe that building a friendly community is essential for a dice site, that's why we have a chat room, where we look forward to talking to you! Tor FriendlyIf you are using Tor while accessing Clearnet, you might have to enter captcha verification frequently. In this case, you can access our hidden service at safedice2ge73n2g.onion. ContactPlease send email to safedice@protonmail.ch. Third party reviewThanks to bitcoingamblingreviews.com, now you can also check this wonderful review to have a better understanding of our features: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MB8MG8Omoig. Seems like a very interesting site on the side of referral program

Thanks for the checklist monerostruggles1111 =) I'm sure that will help others - In terms of making things easier/better for XMR withdrawals, we def agree with you. Its on the checklist of To-Dos, but we currently have some other things to take care of prior to it. But to let you know, we definitely have some updates in the works which should help with various aspects of the site (including depos/withdrawals). Again, thank you for the input - Its always helpful to receive such recommendations, so that we can make the site better for all SD players!

I think the only new coin we will have to expect on SD is BTG Correct Karartma1 - Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), the B2X hard fork did fall through and has been cancelled. In terms of BTG for the SD'ers who had funds in their account at the time of the fork, it is coming soon. The devs finally got around to opening up the mainnet blockchain and there are non-scam wallets available to use now. Be sure to check http://bitcoingold.org/ before downloading any wallets, as there are many scam wallets out to take advantage of people. Anyhow, we still plan on offering BTG to our players so please give us a little time to set it up properly for shareholders to receive their BTG properly and safely. We still need to test things out given that BTG essentially just started today. We can't give any guarantees at this point on time frame, but we are definitely working on it at the current moment. We'll post an update here on the forums once there is more concrete timeframes. Thanks for everyone patience, and thanks for playing at SafeDice =)

Seems like a very interesting site on the side of referral program Yes, very - Get a few HRs and your balance can go up QUICK =) Personally, I have around 0.11BTC in affiliate payouts so far, and I'm not a big affiliate scouter. I'm sure there are others who have made significantly more than this just off referrals alone. Best of all, they are deposited into your account almost instantly as your referred user plays. Easy BTC!

Also, just so everyone knows SafeDice has variable fees set up for withdrawals so at a time like this when the fees are high, you're still only charged a set withdrawal fee (0.00005BTC) and your funds will send with high priority confirmation based on the fee requirements at that particular time. A HUGE plus, as all other sites will use set fees and you'll be waiting forever to receive them when fees are increased like they are today.
Made a withdrawal from SD about 5 minutes ago and its already confirmed!

Sent email with all my account details to support@safedice (today) and the protonmail one (yesterday) re forgetting password.. what's the ETA on support replies?
Hey there, Sorry you're having issues logging in - Since we don't collect email addresses, there is a process that needs to be taken in order to recover your account safely. We do everything we can to ensure that only account holders can access their account, and in turn it sometimes takes a little time to handle the processes. Currently, the admin has been very busy working on the site with things like the BTG hard fork coin distribution, updating features, as well as some other things that have come up unexpectedly so please give them a few days for them to reply back. To expedite your support request, I've informed the admin internally about your matter and you should receive a reply with either a solution or request for proof on the account. With this being said, if you are attempting to gain access to your account that you lost the password to, please read this article on what we will need in order to do so: https://intercom.help/safedice/account-security/ive-lostforgotten-my-password-how-can-i-recover-itAgain, feel free to send me the info to relay to the admin or you can also send another email to support@ with the required info enclosed. Once the required info is received, turnaround times are much quicker since the admin has everything in front of them needed to verify you with your SD account. Hopefully this helps you out, and do not hesitate to PM me should you have any further questions. Thank you, and I wish you good luck on your rolls!
