Between yesterday and today there have been lots of ups and downs. No word about maintenance and such so it can be some DDoS.

Is Safedice done for? Cmon.. this is irresponsible. If you have customers and investors with balances you NEED to have someone dedicated to update us when there is problems with the site, this is a responsibility we expect of the owners / admins.. If not, there is no way this site will be successful or grow. Thesource3, are you around to say something?

Down for me as well ... without any annotation. Could be ddos or w/e ... but lack of public activity makes it even worse.

What makes this even worse is I had a problem with a deposit glitch earlier this week, Thesource3 said it would be handled within 24h after I gave proof of address and account and such which I did instantly. This was not small money and after verification haven't heard ANYTHING back yet, no mods or admins in chat or replies to mails. Also deposited more earlier today when it was up and literary went down after again.

I really hope this is not some exit scam because there is a considerable amount of money (1+ BTC)  on that site to dice with atm.

These days its totally unacceptable to hold anything near 1BTC on any bitcoin gambling related site.

Most sites don't pay interest on your deposits, so why leave it there in the first place.

Another reason is that most gambling sites also don't give you any bitcoin fork coins like Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold.

Just send 0.10 BTC and when you lose that 0.10 BTC send some money later on. Fees are cheap with custom fees, most cost less than $0.50

Hi!

I am really loving this SAFEDICE; also a lot of positive reviews about it make it more interesting and trustworthy.

But it has been twice that when I play it with the Auto Roll Feature, after a while the connection status turns red and the roll keeps eating up my BTCs and finally end up at 0, and when I try re logging in again, the site goes off by then.

Well, the Auto Roll eating up BTCs is not a problem, since it is basically because of the algorithm and the condition which doesn't meet; and there by loss of BTCs. So, keeping it aside, I wanted to know, is there any daily limit or something of that sort; like, Not more than 500 rolls per day, or, not more than 100x of the invested in wager? Or, is it like, the site is up only between a predefined time slot each day? Because there isn't any mention about it in the FAQs Section. In fact, SAFEDICE supports the use of a bot (as per their FAQ).

I have a few more account related issues, as well. Hope the admin resolves these.

Otherwise, I have really started liking safedice.

Thanks!

There's no daily/monthly limits on how many rolls/how much can you play at safedice or any dice site. it's just that safedice is having some problems, ddos attack happening from time to time i think. admin will fix it soon i guess.
SD supports bots, many people used dicebot created by seuntjie.

Hi SafeDice I think I can speak for many people here if I ask you what is your position about the November HF. As a player/investor on your platform it would be good to have your stance on the matter.
I mean, no rush but please let us know. Thank you

Just so everyone knows, this was taken care of for this player - All of the funds were successfully recovered and were returned to them =)

Thanks for the kind words =) Regarding the issue you've had with auto-roll, I've personally never seen that problem before. If there is an intermittent connection, the site is set up to stop the auto rolling. Is there any way that you can mimic this and screen record for us to see what exactly is going on?

In terms of any daily limits, there are none other than what is physically possible (obviously you can only roll a finite amount within 24 hours). Other than that, there are no wager or roll requirements/limits. We do support bot use via Seuntjie, but currently we are waiting on Seuntjie to add a feature into an update so that players can continue using the bot securely.

If you have any further questions/issues, feel free to contact me directly via PM and I'll do my best to figure things out for you. Thanks again!

Hi Karartma1,

TBH its been quite difficult to keep up with all of these hard forks while still maintaining our primary focus, which is gambling/dice. With the most recent fork (Bitcoin Gold), we decided to honor the distribution of BTG however we are still waiting on some key components before we can do so, mainly a wallet and a live blockchain. The BTG team has apparently implemented replay protection (finally), but until these other required features are in place our hands our bound on what we can do (as are any other markets/services intending to distribute the newly forked coins).

With this being said, it's become a very difficult choice for us as to what we will be doing with the latest upcoming fork. On one hand, SegWit2x is considered the most important hard fork of the year but on the other hand we've seen much hype built around previous forks with almost insignificant adoption from the public. We are still weighing our options given that we're still in development for the last fork, however we are considering it due to its so-called importance. Just so everyone knows, once the SegWit2x hard fork occurs there will be a new coin introduced, named B2X (BTC would stay as it was). At this point its still a toss up, but I will see what information I can receive from the admin regarding the upcoming SegWit2x HF as soon as possible so that all of our players/investors can prepare. The hard fork is expected around November 18th, 2017 or more accurately at block 494784.

Be sure to visit the SD blog for the most up to date info regarding both the BTG & B2X forks:

Yo gizzig. I just messed up another withdrawal and came here to check if the hot wallet was empty but then I realized that I made a mistake. It's very easy to mess up XMR withdrawals on SafeDice and it's never obvious what you missed so I made this checklist to help myself. I think it will help others here as well.

SD withdraw checklist
1.Check you have enough xmr balance. Investors need to divest first.
2.Use only basic standard address. No integrated addresses.
3.Payment ID is mandatory. Use a 64 char hex string. If sending to a wallet you control, use this https://www.grc.com/passwords.htm
4.2FA is not optional if you have it set up. Check the time on 2fa device(phone) is correct.
5.If it still fails try a lower amount. The hot wallet may be low or empty. Check the BCT thread.

Hopefully SD updates the way their Monero wallet works but I wouldn't expect them to (or even want them to since it would be a waste) until 0MQ and sub-addresses are finished and implemented.

It was a significant sum. I have been e-mailing, fb messaging SafeDice all night, but no response so far.
I am sick to the stomach because of all this. I just wanted to invest in the bank.

When the fault is on your side then no choice you have to wait for their reply because they may be busy with other things.

You just need to follow up with them after one or two days. Don't send continuous emails for the same issue because these things take time and good luck to you to get back your coins...

Don't rely on this thread too much. If you need support you should send an email to
support@safedice.com

Explain your issue properly and eventually it will get solved.

@thesourc3
thanks for answering, I guess the 2x fork is over and nothing should be done from SD side. I think the only new coin we will have to expect on SD is BTG
