Hello all, my apologies to make you worried. The site is currently down but I'm currently working on this. Please be patient and give me more time, I guarantee that we will be back up as always.

Update
The site is back up Smiley BTC deposit & withdrawal should be working. Please give me more time for BCH, XMR, and BTG. I also noted that there are some pending inquiry about missing password, unprocessed deposit, etc. within the last few days. Please do not worry, have my word that everything will be solved.

Good news.

The last few days silence had scared lot of users here. Such thing makes great opportunity for FUD spreaders to hurt the site reputation (guess I don't need to tell you what can happen if they succeed). Have you been thinking about getting few more people involved (some official representative for bitcointalk, someone to help you with answering support tickets etc. )? Would be great.

@safedice - I have been sending you emails (at both support@safedice address and the proton mail just for good measure) for months about an XMR deposit that I mistakenly left the payment ID out of. I have sent you all of the necessary proof of the transaction, but they seem to have gone unnoticed. the email address is mstation----@gmail (leaving out the last 4 letters on purpose), please search your inbox for the first part of the address and reply. I have had a great experience with the site except for this one issue, and it was a deposit of .6 XMR. I still use the site regularly, and would love to see this resolved.

I have to give credit where credit is due, admin emailed me and apologized for missing the emails, he assumed they were related to xmr deposit issues that were taking place a few weeks back, which eventually resolved themselves. He then credited my account with the funds that I had deposited. Thanks @safedice - now I will continue to lose money on your site lol

The site is back up. BTC deposit & withdrawal should be working. Please give me more time for BCH, XMR, and BTG.
Now thats a surprise.
Any reason why a premined fork like BTG was selected as new addition over fairly launched alternatives (like LTC eg)?

He's talking about distributing BTG to those who had BTC balance at snapshot block and BTG withdrawals (overdue), not about supporting BTG as dice currency.

...
While we are supporting BTG withdrawal, currently we have no future plan to support BTG as a dice currency.
...

Meanwhile my btg commands are still not working  Cheesy
/checkbalancebtg
yields no results, no messege, nothing.

Looking for a signature campaign.

Just want to add that I was locked out of my account on SafeDice a few months ago and had 0 response in resetting my password. It had around 1 BTC at the time.

You mean the account which, according to yourself, was hacked and funds were stolen from you?

just had almost $1,000 stolen by someone who hacked my account on this site

The hacker must have been very generous to only steal $1k and leave you 1 btc.

Your an idiot. I assumed it was a hacker, but it could just as easily been the site owners given they have never responded to any of my support requests.

Basically what happened was when Bitcointalk forum was hacked the email address, username and passwords were leaked. Same with the Bitmain hack about a year back.

You probably used a unique password so they tried to access your account but failed and after a few attempts the site automatically locks your account to prevent further thefts.

This happened for many pools and exchanges for me.

You just need to contact admin and get your account unlocked

How do you know? I think OP is just slow at respond people on thread but in the end he always fix everything, although it is not as fast as other site. But overall I really like how they manage people issues around. And if you have any issues, you should try to contact their admin, not just spam this thread

Apart from some short spurts of activity SafeDice's support is one of the worst, but so far has always come through. I know it sucks but give it some time.

Then again admin might of course have left the building, always hard to tell with SafeDice unfortunately. Last post was about 10 days ago which is still within SafeDice's regular activity intervals though, so I wouldn't worry too much. Despite the lack of support SafeDice has a good track record so far.

The last post of the admin was where he states he's working on bringing the site back on track, then he acknowledges that site is up but many queries are left. I think it's fair to wait for him to respond. Their support is slow but I'm sure it'll come back soon, I haven't seen anyone complain about them being cheated, so I feel you could give them the benefit of the doubt. Do update here once your issue is solved, which I feel it should be done very soon.

It's over 2 days and my Monero deposit is still not credited.

Now I know why it's called "safe" - you can't gamble with your money.

lol that made my chuckle.

In all honestly I would avoid using Monero, I had nothing but issues with that currency and Safedice always has some form of issues with XMR.

The site is not a scam. My guess is that the admin works full time and probably has a family and doesn't have enough time to devote to this site.

In the past many people had these issues many times prior.

It looks like a sophisticated virus/malware maybe withdrew BTC from your account, your PC is compromised/infected. fire up an updated antivirus and do a full scan on your PC (to know for sure) or install a fresh OS. also don't use/open any of your wallets, until virus is removed or you've installed a fresh OS. there's nothing you can do to get your BTC back, sorry for your loss.  Sad
