Any Monero investors here in Safedice? I wanna see some numbers or at least some simple estimates on return of investments. I understand Safedice's very low house edge that is very attractive to players. I am earning some few bucks from my BTC investments although not that high.

Overall profitability looks very good at almost 2% compared to expected 0.5% but the activity is rather low (daily wagered), with occasional spikes. Looking at the last week's activity, it would make more sense to invest BTC rather than XMR. Weekly wager/total site investment ratio was 129% for BTC, while only 21% for XMR. This means investing the same amount (in USD terms) you'll get over 6 times better expected return when investing bitcoins. XMR has been on SD for just as long as BTC, so when looking at volume, you really are comparing apples to apples. Thus, XMR is basically just play money on SD, no one really takes it seriously. The bankroll hasn't changed much in forever, SD barely supports it etc.... It's a novelty really. |

As investor I made way more money with XMR than BTC though :p Partly because of that 120 BTC win obviously. And XMR wagered was much more in beginning too (compared to this year.)

Why does it say that you can do a kelly of 10x, but when you go the profile to do so it's only up to 2x?
Would love to be able to have less risk in the side if possible again.

The kelly was lowered after a huge win on the site which took quite a bit of the bankroll. This was to prevent that from happening again as it was a bad hit for the site. It must be a mistake that it still says that. |

It must be a mistake that it still says that. Yeah they need to update the 10x remark. 10x will blow up any bankroll. Even 5 times is bad, just look at the bankroll investors at Bitvest getting destroyed! |

The site has been having issues lately for me also. However it might be also my ISP because I am getting very long lag times on Bitcointalk forum also. No idea what is going on. |

Why aren't people allowed to choose the kelly stake risk that works best for them? Has nothing to do with the luck a bettor many or many not have had. |

Why aren't people allowed to choose the kelly stake risk that works best for them? Has nothing to do with the luck a bettor many or many not have had. Not all people are dare to take some huge risk, it is just usual thing, many people want to get huge money without offering huge amount too. That is why some site dont let you choose some kelly though, with huge kelly we can earn more but need to lose more too if you have bad timing when you put it so actually it depends on some luck too |

It's mean XMR's hot wallet is empty right now, and you can't withdraw your money. In this case because OP (safedice) didn't comeback on here since 3 weeks ago, it would be better if you email them about this problem.
@jonid Yes, safedice is one of trusted gambling sites. They ever paid 100+ btc (~115) to 1 user (he won that amount when he chasing 2% with martingale, lol) |

I'm new playing on this site.. Usually I play on primedice or 999doge with bitcoin.. i try switch to altcoins because i think can play longer with altcoin.. is this safedice site can be trusted???
The site has a good record and they've been operating for over 2 years now. The biggest issue is that admin is not full time committed to running the site and sometimes it takes few days to get reply. But so far, all the problems have been resolved eventually. |
