What types of promotions/contests would the community like SafeDice to do? Please provide feedback! Would you like wagering contests, a lottery type wager where you get a number of tickets based on how much you wager so everyone has a chance to win? Would you like just to see normal lotteries? Giveaways? Deposit bonus? Jackpots? Leave a comment about your opinion, all feedback is appreciated!

Wagering contest are usually to hard to compete and do not attract many people to join.
Lottery type wagering contest are better because we always have chance to win something even if we have earned only one ticket. One Money Pot casino had launch promo where every bet over 0.0001 is one ticket for the player and they had 20 prizes. I would like to see similar competition at Safe Dice with transparent info on number of tickets, players. And if I had vote I would vote for such competition.
Jackpot is other popular promo it is always good to have additional chance to win mega payout.
Giveaways are always nice , every type of giveaway.

Wagering contest is sure hard enough to compete more over if there is a big whale, no matter win or loss they always win the prize, mean while small player will always be disadvantaged, this is why this contest always have less attraction

Btw for OP any details for this contest? And Saturday bct time?

UTC time is the same as BCT time. And will post details about the contest soon!

Weekly Lottery Wager

Updates:

Our current weekly wager will end Feb. 11th UTC 0:00 and rewards will be calculated and handed out accordingly.

New Weekly Lottery Wager:

Starting Saturday Feb. 11th UTC 0:00 for every account that wagers 0.01 BTC will earn 1 lottery ticket. You can earn as many lottery tickets as possible so the more you wager the more lottery tickets you earn. Once the contest ends on Feb. 18th UTC 0:00 we will have a lottery drawing for the participants. Any wagered BTC before or after the contest duration does not count.

We will have pools of:
1 winner of 0.1BTC
2 winners of 0.05BTC
30 winners of 0.01BTC

The first winning ticket drawn will earn the 0.1BTC and so on down the line till the 33 winning tickets are drawn. Our approach in this contest is to have more winners and give smaller wager players a chance to win some BTC also! I hope you guys will participate and are excited as I am! Total BTC rewarded is 0.5BTC. If you have any questions please feel free to ask! Good luck everyone! Smiley

Note:

Only one win per player

congrats for SD,

thats nice inovation to playing lottery.
user not should be buy lottery but they must wagger to get lottery.
i think thats briliant idea.

maybe if any command to check total lottery tickets,it will be great.
because user after wagger, they need to know how much they got tickets from wagger.

keep roll and win.

Is there a limit of 1 player - 1 win? i.e. if someone wins first prize, will his tickets be excluded when drawing following 32 prizes? You probably want such limit to prevent one player winning all the prizes.

Thanks! I added that also instead of .05 BTC, now 0.01BTC will earn you 1 lottery ticket.

How are you going to draw winners and where we can check our tickets (amount + ticket id)?
Good promo I also recommended it.  Wink

At the moment there is no way for players to see how many tickets they have accumulated unless they kept track themselves. But our system internally keeps track of how much each has wagered. And we will basically give each ticket an id or number and then randomly generate winning tickets.

But if we using bot all the time how can we know how much we already wagered? Do you have any leaderboard or some stat that we can see on how much we already wagered? Because this will pretty hard to remember each tickets that we already earn. May be you can add stat on each people that wagered will be good for this feature

Easiest way to know how much tickets have you earned was to note/write down your total wagered at the beginning of the contest. Then you can just check the difference and divide by 0.01.

I don't expect SD to make any changes to the site just to show the tickets earned, but posting a mid-week update with all the contest stats would be really nice.

When we release SD2 we will most likely have some feature like this and many other new features. But at the moment we are focused on SD2, and we aren't making updates to SafeDice at the moment. You can do what pawel7777 said and keep track of the number of tickets you have that way. If Admin gives me the numbers I can post a mid-week update but I can't promise this.

What is the ETA foe SD2? Will I have to make changes to DiceBot to get it working on SD2? If so, can I get access to the site a few days before launch to get the bot sorted out?

You can send an email to (safedice@protonmail.ch) and ask the ways to recover your account, i think you'll probably have to sign a message from an old/recent  bitcoin address.
