SafeDice's Weekly Wager Contest
~snip~
Not bad, good to finally see some promo contest on SD.

I was actually going to suggest doing it bit differently, the way betking did it in 2015. It's too late, but maybe you could consider it in the future.

So basically, instead of simple "3 prizes for the top 3 most wagered" - you could do it as a raffle; i.e. you earn 1 raffle ticket for every 0.05 btc wagered, and draw the prizes at the end of promo period.
More tickets - more chance of winning, but everyone has an incentive to play, as everyone can potentially win. With the current, simple structure, the competition will likely be limited to very few big players, with small/average players knowing they can't really compete.

Also, could you clarify whether this contest is for both BTC and XMR games, or for BTC only?

That is a great idea pawel and I think we will do this in the future! Thank you for your input. The contest is for both BTC and XMR but xmr players would just have there xmr total wagered converted to BTC wagered at the end of the contest.

SafeDice's Weekly Wager Contest

I am happy to announce the start of our weekly wager contest!
Rules:

Beginning on 2/4/2017 at 0:00 UTC we will keep track of the total amount wagered by players until 2/11/2017 23:59 UTC.
During this time period any wagered amount will count towards our contest.

First place: 0.3BTC (most wagered amount during the time period)
Second place: 0.2BTC (second most wagered amount during the time period)
Third place: 0.1BTC (third most wagered amount during the time period)

Please let me know if you have any questions/concerns I will be glad to answer them.

Note

As of right now we do not have a current weekly leaderboard on the site. You might show up on the monthly leaderboard but just because you aren't first does not mean you are not first in the weekly contest. We can still track who wagers the most internally while we work on a weekly leaderboard.

Very nice promo Smiley

Not a lot of competition right now for the weekly wager contest. I believe first place has about 12 btc wagered. Remember competition ends next Saturday and winner gets over $300! High rollers come enjoy the lowest house edge of 0.5% at SafeDice and battle for the weekly wager contest! Good luck everyone! Also remember the max win at SafeDice is 70 BTC on one dice roll!!:)

hello, i made an xmr deposit that has not been credited still to my account.  in an email exchange with the adimins they are claiming that xmr unlock_time = 2 means my xmr is still locked.  I checked the blockchain, it should have been unlocked after 2 blocks after one on the transaction.  It has been nearly 5 days and over 1000 blocks and no credit or response from admins since then.  Is there anyone i can pm here for help?  Support seems quite bad/unresponsive

Fastest way for me which always works is emailing the Admin: safedice@protonmail.ch

But from your story I understand there's no reply on emails, I just posted it to be sure you got the right email.

You could also PM the Admin here on the forum with the details: SafeDice or Juicey_SD who helps out with the site.

Hope it will be fixed soon.

Yes the fastest and best way to get help from the Admin is to email him at the above email address. You can always message me but for this issue there is nothing I can do. What is your username on safedice? I am not too familiar with xmr what would be the reason for a lock?

Awesome! wish i had decent bankroll to participate. Roll Eyes
i think pawel7777 suggestion is really nice, players with small bankroll would also be able participate. if you guys allowed 1mbtc wager to get 1 raffle ticket.

this may be because of the turbulence with the transactions
there were > 70k pending transactions yesterday and this has been going on for a quite a while
it doesn't really incentivise you to play when you have to wait 24 hours for your deposit to show up and pay arm and leg as tx fee

That is true I didn't think about the impact that all those pending transactions are causing.

And bitcoin is going up that may be another reason for low volume.

I believe first place has somewhere between 20 - 30 BTC wagered. But I do not know for sure because atm we do not have a weekly leaderboard set up for all players to see.

What types of promotions/contests would the community like SafeDice to do? Please provide feedback! Would you like wagering contests, a lottery type wager where you get a number of tickets based on how much you wager so everyone has a chance to win? Would you like just to see normal lotteries? Giveaways? Deposit bonus? Jackpots? Leave a comment about your opinion, all feedback is appreciated!

Wagering contest are usually to hard to compete and do not attract many people to join.
Lottery type wagering contest are better because we always have chance to win something even if we have earned only one ticket. One Money Pot casino had launch promo where every bet over 0.0001 is one ticket for the player and they had 20 prizes. I would like to see similar competition at Safe Dice with transparent info on number of tickets, players. And if I had vote I would vote for such competition.
Jackpot is other popular promo it is always good to have additional chance to win mega payout.
Giveaways are always nice , every type of giveaway.

Jackpot is other popular promo it is always good to have additional chance to win mega payout.
Giveaways are always nice , every type of giveaway.

Okay great! I also really like the lottery based wagering contest better which we will do for our next contest. Thanks for the feedback!
