I respect Johns privacy, but I disagree on the effect of doxing a REAL known talented dev. I mean if John was the guy who invented Gnutella, Edonkey, Limewire, Napster, Bittorent, Peercoin, Bitcoin, etc., being able to advertise that would lend HUGE credibility to the project and trust from potential investors.

Justin Frankel and Tom Pepper invented Gnutella while working @ AOL (they bought winamp + shoutcast). AOL shutdown the project when they found out so they told AOL to go fsck themselves and abandoned Gnutella. The Gnutella protocol was reverse engineered within weeks and within a year there was upwards of 25 independent code bases. People did not copy/paste back then(like in crypto-currency), there was no such thing as clones in file sharing except those that disabled adware, etc. I personally know Bram Cohen and so no I did not invent BitTorrent either. I personally know Jed MccaLeb but no I did not invent Edonkey2000. Mr. King invented Peercoin. Sean invented Napster and I personally know the Macster team that later became part of core Napster in California. Limewire(NYC near ED2K) is JAVA so I did not invent it or have relations with their staff. I think I covered your list. The only ones I have not contributed to are Limewire and I've never submitted a pull request to Peercoin or Bitcoin. Thank you for your support.
