1001  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 26, 2019, 02:13:14 AM
If you notice, there are certain kinds of users who do not give out merits, and roach is one of them.

The merit system serves absolutely no purpose so I do not participate in it.  All it is is people having a contest to see who can say the most outrageously buffoonish bullish statements that have no basis in reality and then people merit you for lying or making up bullshit.

May I have the 12 merits that I gave to you back then? Also, according to BPIP.org, you are ranked #223 in most merited out of thousands of people. https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=realr0ach

Edit:LOL that's the most merit I ever got for any post.  Cheesy

its more than a proof idiots, he tried ....

Well, if you feel his proof is adequate, go ahead and give him a loan. After all, if he defaults, you would have a fair quality legendary account to add to your inventory. One that has a post history of being a bounty manager.  Wink

actually as fact, you being idiot, please quote for refference, a bounty manager is winning just on 1 campaign more than you will ever win a month of work.

so stop being idiot, even if the icos he has mentioned are useless, the user tried to show that he is worth it

How am I being an idiot? I suggested that you go ahead and give him the loan.  Cheesy Sorry, but my broke ass doesn't have .06 BTC to spare ATM. (Besides, as you can tell from the red tag that I gave you, the commerce of bitcointalk accounts aint exactly my bag.)
1003  Economy / Reputation / Re: Legendary account seller on: January 26, 2019, 01:21:58 AM
I was forced to sell the account as the user had defaulted on his loan

Nothing forces you to sell the account. I believe I still have a few accounts that defaulted loans in my possession, and have just accepted it as a loss.

Yes, I believe that it is acceptable for a lender to take an account as collateral, if they believe that the person behind the account is likely to motivated to repay the loan and get their account back. For example, if I were desperate and needed a quick loan, if I put up my account as collateral, I would move heaven and earth to make sure that loan was paid. The only way that I would default on the loan is if I became incapacitated.

Talk about job security, you all sure have a lot of tagging work to do..
The more things you can justify tagging for the better, just like the government, the more things you can control and regulate the better..

Yes, now that theymos has diluted the DT system, we the people can tag everyone. It will be somewhat like the reign of terror. However, we promise that no guillotines will be used.
1007  Other / Meta / Re: [NEW] LoyceV's Weekly Trust list overview in Human Readable Format on: January 25, 2019, 10:49:00 PM
Dang it.

Quote
You can only send 50 merit to a given user per 30 days.

Loading...

Maybe you should start a club like Foxpup for people you can't give more merits to because you already gave your 50 merit allotment to them. You can give them nifty prizes, instead. I'd like to have the chocolate cake myself. Anything chocolate would work for me.  Smiley

Here, give this to LoyceV instead of an IOU voucher.

1008  Economy / Lending / Re: Small loan for few days no Collateral on: January 25, 2019, 05:52:17 AM
I’m giving out small loans of .0005 to .006 for 1hour to 2 days to trusted members only
I’m trying to build my trust and I hope I can help y’all out too repayment is with interest of 10% and collateral is not need for trusted members Smiley happy days guys (some of your information will be great such as telegram or another form of contact )

Bula vinka
How are you going to build trust by giving out "No Collateral" loans? The only one who will gain trust is the borrower if he/she will payback. In your case, the only thing you we're able to prove is you can lend someone money with "no collateral". Lenders gain trust because they were able to hold collaterals and they did not run away with it.

But if I ask for collateral no one wants to take loans ? So I don’t know what to do yano ? I’m hustling trying to be a good citizen of this forum XD

Giving and getting loans for the sole purpose of earning positive trust feedback is frowned upon by this community. If you want to be a good citizen of this forum, there are many things you can do. Like bust scams and report insubstantial/off topic/ plagiarized posts.
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Grin | PoW Mining | Electronic transactions for all. Community driven. on: January 24, 2019, 02:17:12 AM
Well, I decided to switch from grin gold miner to bminer. I notice that bminer is more easy on my CPU. However, I notice that the miner states that I am mining at 3.86. The pool, however; is stating that it is only at 2.8.
Is bminer not estimating my hash rate correctly?

edit: Never mind, I think that I need to get a better sample than 30 minutes.  Cheesy

Hey guys
Mining on grinmint - is it possible to payout to a grinbox address?  Right now only seeing http and email (which for some reason I'm not receiving).  Thanks

Grin does not have "addresses." Did you open the account with the +random value added to the e-mail? You may have to open a support ticket with the pool if you are not getting the e-mail with the tx file.

1012  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT2 SUCHMOON ABUSE.Who voted him into trust circle ? on: January 21, 2019, 04:45:54 AM
Yes, let's get out the posse and bring suchmoon to justice for improperly tagging a throw away noob account.   Roll Eyes

Perhaps we can try suchmoon in one of those kangaroo courts crytohunter has set up in reputation. You know, the ones where only the accused and accusers are allowed to show up. all advocate responses are deleted. Cheesy
1013  Other / Meta / Re: Viewing TRUST when not logged in on: January 21, 2019, 04:18:52 AM
I don't know why, but I was under the impression that the decision to disallow guests from viewing feedback had something to do with cases where an employer or something is doing a google search on a potential employee, and ends up here, "Biggest Shitboi on forum, Skemmd my Grandmum for 5,000 BTC", "Guy sucks, l0l" etc feedback.

Again, I don't know if thats correct but something is telling me that was a consideration, though I don't have a source. The obvious hole that sticks out in my mind, is that there are only a handful of people here who used their real names, or have published their real names. I can't shake the suspicion that trust was only meant to be a factor in sections where it might possibly matter, and between members who are at risk of doing some sort of trade, at least partially for that reason. I don't think that conducting business with guest users was a consideration. How would you exchange PMs arranging a trade without an account?

Yes, but many of these people now invite you to discuss the trade offsite like at telegram or discord.
1014  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT2 SUCHMOON ABUSE.Who voted him into trust circle ? on: January 21, 2019, 03:29:35 AM
Do you know what theymos said about Lauda? If not, I request you to read the DefaultTrust threads.
What makes suchmoon on DT1 is-
He leaves valid feedback which is helpful to the forum members. If you do it, you also can be a DT1 member. And if you have problem with his feedback, put a tilde(~) before  his name on your trust list. Problem solved. That's how you can change the so called "DT ABUSE".

Incorrect you can not change the DT abuse unless you have the support of 2 or more with 250 earned merits. Those people are main abusers of the merit system and now the DT system. The new DT system could have been okay but they broke it worse by adding that earned merit threshold.

Why? It is good that some of the OG regulars on the WO thread, who could give two shits about what goes on here in Meta, can add whoever they want.
1015  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT2 SUCHMOON ABUSE.Who voted him into trust circle ? on: January 21, 2019, 03:23:26 AM
Suchmoon is now a DT1 member. You can go to this thread to learn how the new process to select DT members works. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;dtview
Unfortunately for you, in order to get Suchmoon out, you will have to harass more than a handful of members.  Cheesy

The word harass is not really suitable.

It is like claiming I must harass the police to get them to review factual evidence that I have been burgled with accompanying factual evidence of whom burgled me.

Bones here refuses to review observable facts that prove DT1 member is a liar.

So we must analyse his posts carefully to check for subjective and misleading information.

Next you'll be employing the broken logic of yogg, lauda tman and owlcatz

Apparently if you are on a bus and someone grabs your phone and starts to walk away. You shout out give that back else I will call the police and tell other people you stole my phone..

According to yogg you are now a blackmailer and and if you were to report this incident to the police they would lock you up. You would be allowed one phone call ... to the thief presumably on his nice new phone to apologise and check it is all working to his satisfaction. LOL

This is the kind of reasoning, morals and collusion you are dealing with here. Therefore expect zero support because those that are not fully part of this group of colluding untrustworthy scoundrels are totally scared of them and will not even review or comment on observable events that prove wrong doing.

When it comes to Lauda, why don't you present your evidence to someone with a little more clout than silly old me? Maybe Greg Maxwell or someone else.  Kiss

1017  Other / Meta / Re: Someone HELP Banned on: January 20, 2019, 11:33:18 PM
@OP. The moderators don't moderate what people post on the WO thread(except in extreme cases.) It was always a self moderated thread and the OP abandoned it (probably hacked or lost account). A couple of years ago, theymos locked the thread because the moderators were sick of moderating it. There was an outcry; so they appointed a new "OP" to moderate it and unlocked it.  But infofront does not have moderation power to ban any user, only delete posts in the WO thread. Your ban may be related to you posting history as a whole. Your comment in the Grin ann thread may not have not helped your case. (Just kidding.)  Cheesy

Remember guys, money is useless if you never use it.  We are all going to die someday, enjoy it while you can.  Don't be the miser with billions in the bank on his deathbed.

Or have a child like Lizzie Borden.  Cheesy
1019  Economy / Reputation / Re: Abuse of a system of encouragement (merit) of the member of DT1 on: January 20, 2019, 11:06:29 PM
I'm not entirely sure what you are trying to prove here?

Could be a variation of the Quickseller gambit. Put out a ludicrous accusation or two or a dozen with a few burner accounts. Regardless of the outcome, six months later you can reference them like so: "people have been saying for a long time that X, Y, and Z are involved in shady activities".

Or just a butthurt account farmer who suddenly became red due to Alex_Sr's return to DT2.

What's the Quickseller gambit? Pawn to f3?

don't get fooled into buying this shitcoin guys, members are trying to hype up this junk with its massive inflation rate.  Price will do nothing but drop.

You don't buy POW coins in their first few weeks of launch. You mine them...
