1001  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 17, 2014, 08:16:46 PM
That's the Delaware "safebox". The California company is HashFast Technologies LLC.

1002  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 17, 2014, 08:01:26 PM
Yes, sure. I was asking where he saw HashFast LLC in an hashfast-related website.
1003  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 17, 2014, 07:09:26 PM
I swear to god that they has changes their companyname from Hashfast LCC ..... to Hashfast Technologies.
Where have you seen HashFast LLC before the change?

To the floor!
1005  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 17, 2014, 02:08:14 PM
They don't delay them, they simply use them for the normal BJ orders.
HF started shipping in mass 25 days ago. As far as we know they shipped Batch 1 (600 boards) + pre-retail + something of batch 2 (looks like that icedrill received "nothing", right?). Around 50 boards per day. It's quite a low number, they are no where near where they should be with the scalable supply chain that they promised us.

So i really wouldn't say that they are simply using the boards to satisfy other customers, rather, they are doing whatever pleases them the most, because they can.

The deadline for the legal route of batch 2 was two days ago. I guess that no one went on, right?

So why should they care about shipping on time?
1006  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Italy forces consumers to BitCoin: "20% Tax On All Inbound Money Transfers" on: February 17, 2014, 01:23:32 PM
That title is not true at all!
I have to admit that i forgot to read the english title before saying that it's true Smiley (anyway the zerohedge article is correct)

20% is taken upfront and given back if you prove that it's not in any way taxable. (good luck with that)
1007  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 17, 2014, 12:31:19 PM
It still doesn't make sense in any way you try to read it. You don't delay a money printing machine because you miss a fancy control panel. A cooling system isn't anything that can't be bought on a well furnished local shop.

I guess that they will have to find better excuses in front of an arbitrator.
1008  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Italy forces consumers to BitCoin: "20% Tax On All Inbound Money Transfers" on: February 17, 2014, 11:54:53 AM
Is this reported somewhere on a "real" news site?  I can not find anything searching the web for "Italy incoming bank wire 20% tax" and related terms.  If this is indeed true, it would be tremendous (but not really surprising) news.

It's true. Biggest financial newspaper in italy:
http://www.ilsole24ore.com/art/notizie/2014-02-13/ritenuta-automatica-bonifici-estero-064329.shtml

aesma, that's mostly useless rhetoric bullishit. I pay every single cent of my taxes in italy (where i have a business that i'm moving away along with my ass because of the high taxation), and the same goes for my family, that has a little grocery.
1009  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 17, 2014, 10:54:13 AM
So the delay on why upgrade chips are not shipped is that they got a tube that is too short to fit? And they couldn't ship the board alone, asking the clients to buy a cooling system or wait for theirs to arrive, right? Cheesy

I mean, if HF_ENG believes the bullshit the company tells him, maybe he is not actually an engineer.
1010  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 16, 2014, 09:02:13 PM
Too bad you can't prove it.

If Bitstamp goes to 250$ and they refund instantaneously the USD value it would be a 40%-something loss... Almost acceptable...
1011  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 16, 2014, 04:17:29 PM
Did anyone actually successfully set up arbitration with them?
Setting up an arbitration with them is a really simple process, that can be done online as well in the case of AAA. That's not the problem. The problem is that they will continue to ignore you as well, even if you enter in a binding arbitration with them.

By the time that the arbitrator gets you your award, they will probably have closed shop or something.

This is why i love how Morici's lawsuit calls them in as individually responsable, and not only for the LLC companies.

Low level scams are getting sophisticated Smiley

1013  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 16, 2014, 11:16:17 AM
qwk, i will start that thread, thanks.

Seeing Bitcoin @ 250$ @ MtGox gives me false hopes on having my BTC back...
Everything else related to HashFast is sooo booooring.

I admire their constancy.
1014  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: February 15, 2014, 10:55:33 PM
Coinetrra starting 2nd batch and announced:
"Additionally, we will be making the first of a number of exciting announcements in the coming days"

That remembers me of

Quote
We will be back in touch with 4 announcements to start out 2014.

- HashFast, 31 of December 2013, before the end of each and any communications.
1015  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 15, 2014, 09:33:31 AM
Could someone in defaultTrust give a well deserved feedback to Cyperdoc? It annoys me to see his posts and nothing red under his name.

Apart from that... Batch 3 deadline is in two weeks. (tm). I'm continuously wondering what's the status of their shipments. With this thread dead, it's hard to keep track of it.
1016  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 14, 2014, 10:42:02 PM
I can't see them standing by their word and me having 30Thash.
You will have 30TH. Once that they are useless.
(after having repeated it for 4 months or so...)
1017  Local / Progetti / Re: [IPO] BitBoat on: February 14, 2014, 08:24:48 PM

1018  Local / Guide (Italiano) / Re: Yet Another Paper Wallet Tutorial (Ubuntu Linux) on: February 14, 2014, 02:42:09 PM
Stavo pensando a quanto casuale (o non casuale) sia vanitygen... Forse è meglio prendere delle parole completamente a caso da un dizionario, magari una 30-ina, farne il sha256sum e usare quella come partenza.
1019  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast BabyJet users thread on: February 13, 2014, 09:34:04 AM
Maybe they have massive yield issues?
Maybe not?
1020  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 11, 2014, 11:35:31 PM
I guess that we will start discussing batch 3 soon.

And what is the only possible conclusion to this?

They have the wafers, in stock, they have the PCB design, they have the building capabilities, yet, people don't receive those units. So, where do thoes units go?
I see subpoenas every-freaking-where.

But the waiting times for justice to make its course are boring.
