1001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people giving up on Bitcoin too quickly? on: October 25, 2020, 05:59:47 PM
Disregarding the technical development of bitcoin means you don't know how does it work. Obviously, these people are those who didn't trust the bitcoin at first and don't even use it. Their arguments about the future of cryptocurrency aren't considered valid talk if they aren't supporting or using it.

There are plenty of crypto users who gave up on bitcoin when a price drop occurs but instantly came back after the price hike.
I hope it serves as an ideology to them that cryptocurrency has a good future.
1002  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: October 25, 2020, 05:33:58 PM
We can't really determine the situation and if bitcoin was really affected by the pandemic. Afaik, there are factors that make cryptocurrency an important asset especially right now. Also, it didn't affect the value even it got a huge price drop in the beginning, it rose from 5k$ to 12k$ which we can tell that bitcoin is invulnerable in any pandemic situations.

People started to adopt digital transactions and invested their money as they think that time, will increase due to bitcoin halving. The value maintained in the market and it seems that crypto was going with the flow at that time.
1003  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: October 25, 2020, 04:31:19 PM
Maybe because it is very complex to convert the money from crypto and it requires KYC where personal details are required before getting the money.

So they prefer the traditional thing and besides not all of them are capable of hijacking cryptocurrency.

It's obvious that it's easy for criminals to use the traditional which has easier transaction processes.
1004  Economy / Economics / Re: In COVID-19 everyone needs motivation on: October 24, 2020, 07:14:32 PM
Just think of this is as part of your challenge to be stronger in the future. Always be positive and think that you'll survive with your family and think that it's wonderful to live. There's a lot of things we can do during the pandemic and that's developing your skills.

To us who are in this forum and have the knowledge about cryptocurrency, we can earn more through trading and a lot of cryptocurrency-related that produce a profit. Always think outside of the box and always grab the opportunity to survive.
1005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: October 24, 2020, 06:31:03 PM
If people are avoiding cryptocurrency it means that they aren't ready for digital society or cashless systems. The only answer to this is because people know the potential and afraid of the development of the system or they don't know about it.
People need to educate first about bitcoin so that they can understand it very well and know how to use. Lack of knowledge, Risk, and modern technology is the reason why people avoid bitcoin. They are not really familiar with cryptocurrency and the technology behind it. But if they will know and learn about bitcoin, I think they will also accept and use it.
They need valuable information about cryptocurrency so they can adapt and use it. I agree that a lack of knowledge can result in people avoiding cryptocurrency because they don't have any idea about what it is and how to use it.
1006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking Bitcoin is Scam on: October 24, 2020, 05:04:15 PM
Bitcoin is a working technology, such as the Internet or mobile... And if people do not know or do not understand the principles of bitcoin, they can not call it scam! This is very stupid!
But that's the reality. Those who are more knowledgeable with this industry in general, do like to label Bitcoin as scam, simply because they know nothing about it. Also, from what I observed, those people who are calling this technology a scam, are those who invested and who did not, which expectations are not met. The first impression from investing to cryptos or Bitcoin, as their term for all cryptos, is an easy profit probably due to what happened before when its market price started to increase which gave huge profit to those who held their Bitcoin for years. The moment wherein Bitcoin reached its ATH is a big time event for those who were able to buy Bitcoin at a low market price, perhaps in year 2013. This more likely gave them the idea that profit will come in an instant or that profit is guaranteed by just investing into Bitcoin. And ofcourse, we are aware that things will not come as easy as it may sound.
Who aren't*
Of course, those who don't have any information about cryptocurrency will take it as a treat in finance. Ignorance will definitely make anything a bad thing 'cause it doesn't have an idea what it is and how does it work. Most of those educated people who even have small information about finance and technology will take crypto seriously and will see its potential. Those people who really trusted cryptocurrency are obviously those who stayed for a longer time or day-one investors.

I recommend mozilla or the microsoft edge, lesser ram usage, and already tested it on my data training process. CPU has nothing to do with browsers unless you have extensions or add ons that might need extra usage on the processors.
Microsoft Edge and Mozilla are low in RAM usage, but for me they are less comfortable in these browsers and don't have complete features except for Mozilla, sometimes Mozilla also likes to eat more RAM if it crashes, the same as Chrome.

I on the browser choose Google Chrome because with a complete add-on feature it's easy to use add-ons for cryptocurrencies such as metamask, tronlink, GA etc.
Depending on which purposes you use. If you want to make an auto bet for many consecutive hours while still using the computer for other activities, Edge or Mozilla is better, especially when your computer has a few RAM. I have installed metamask for many years and still has no practical utilization with it.

Crash rarely happens with Mozilla and Edge since there have been many advanced modifications already. Chrome is notorious for being a RAM eater for many years and yet, there is no solution
Yeah, if chrome stayed up for how many hours even the website opened is just a social media site, it always crashed. I have 16gb ram, and it's kinda irritating that it eats a lot of RAM and crashes after hours of using. So Mozilla and Edge are the recommended browsers these days, with lesser ram usage especially when you're a full-time gambler, crashing will not become an issue.

I also like Opera, enjoying VPN feature a lot.

..but I hope that Google does something about chrome and fixes the high ram usage, it will be also a game-changer if they did that. Most of my bookmarks, add-ons and such are sync in my google account since it's a hassle to shift to a better one.

1010  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xBit.com - Betting, Bitcoin Sportsbook, Casino web-site| ONLINE SPORTS BETTING! on: October 18, 2020, 04:38:31 PM
I think there is not much we can do about it. As long as they are active, they will keep scamming over and over again. Admins will not close the topic, I am afraid. And they will also not do it.
We can keep posting messages here and warn others, but then their topic is free advertising here with many posts. Its a difficult choice what we have to do. If we do not post any warnings, then people might not get warned and fell into their trap also.
I think having daily reminders for those who will invest or bet on this platform will do but my concern is, it will bump daily and many newbies will use this platform. So I guess there's nothing to do on this if they're spending a lot on ads to scam more people.

This site terrible. Made 3-4 deposits and after winning some money on my last deposit they left e message on my account telling me you cant withdraw. No response from live chat. I have emailed also...
Sad to hear, should've chosen a good platform, there's plenty of them where we can bet safely and payouts are guaranteed.
Always check the top gambling platforms on a specific sport, there are a lot of threads in gambling discussion.
1011  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best online gaming platform on: October 18, 2020, 03:55:56 PM
This is very similar to what happens with day trading, the few day traders that are capable of becoming profitable with the activity leave it after a few years, which may seem odd, after all why leave behind an activity that is making you so much money from the comfort of your own home? And what happens is that people burn out, they get tired of watching the markets every single day and to react in a perfect way every single time.

Some leave trading completely and change their profession to something more exciting while some others still trade but become long term traders as it is way easier to monitor the markets when you only do it once at the end of the day.
Yes, day trade is crazy.
No one can stay a month or even a week viewing candles every day for several hours.
In addition to the market being very volatile in such a short time.
Good traders analyze the best pairs and work over a longer period of time, trading a few minutes a day.

I also don’t take it easy on poker, my emotional will deliver me if I stay more than two hours in the game. Cheesy
I have always thought of poker as a mental marathon, people think that poker is an extremely fast paced game because they are used to watch poker on cable but the truth is that it can pass several hours before you see any decent action which means that you need to sit down trying to define the style of each one of your opponents while making precise bets and trying to figure out what they have while at the same time playing your cards correctly.

This is an extremely tiring activity and the concentration needed to keep up your play for 10+ hours as the professionals do is something almost impossible to do for the majority of people.
Yeah, I watch some pro league and it takes a lot of time before the game ends since they're trying to determine the characteristic of the player. In poker, it's not the typical gambling, you need a strategy in order to win the game. I only play poker on mobile, it's already confusing and very tiring for playing 2 hrs game, I don't think I can stay longer on a poker game. So what more in a serious match that has money on the line.
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mobile Legends Gambling [Part II] on: October 18, 2020, 03:20:07 PM
Actually in my observation, a lot of ML players are into wild drift now because everybody waited for so long for this game to lunch on in it's mobile version. They say that wild drift's graphics are better than mobile legends thats why most of the players switch into wild drift. I am a long time mobile legends player but i haven't tried to play wild drift as of now.
It is because League of Legends is the original, most of the contents in the Mobile Legends, came from the LoL. I played ML for how many years and already reach high rank which is mythical glory with plenty of points, I stopped when I earned early access to wild rift because the meta is still the same. I hope that I didn't offend any ML players here but this is the truth about moonton, keep copying contents from other games. I don't care if the graphics are not good (but for me it's good tho), the mechanics of LoL: WR is what I really want due to balance and fair gameplay.

Also, there's no point if we argue about the best mobile MOBA, we have preferences in gaming and this is my opinion regarding WR and ML.
1013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Normal Game Setup - a success or a failure? on: October 18, 2020, 02:49:49 PM
Some of the sports leagues that got canceled due to the pandemic already finished with their respective resumes with some still on-going and lots of future events will take place under the new normal setup.

We have seen how these leagues put big efforts to somehow bring the sports back while people don't need to go outside to watch. They also think of a way on how to help players feel that the intense and excitement is still there performing in front of the fans.

Even with low ratings and small revenue (as expected), I consider this new normal setup as a success. It's not that easy to set up an own bubble amid the dangerous pandemic.

Kudos to their effort.
Well, yeah I appreciate the effort of those people involved in organizing sports events even there's a pandemic.

If they implemented it successfully then it means that they exert a lot of effort and make a protocol that will keep the players safe from the virus.
Honestly speaking, it's kinda tiring to organize such events that require a lot of papers before the approval of the league this new normal.
1014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: THE MOST PAINFUL DAY IN MY BETTING CAREER on: October 18, 2020, 02:11:30 PM
Losing a large amount of money is a part of gambling but if you didn't experience losing I think you are a god in gambling sometimes this is your downfall even you lose a large or small amount of money. One thing you should realize when you lose too much is do you want to continue or not? There are a lot of players holding their selves and focusing to earn back and not giving up for me I think this is a risk choice, I always play at the safest as possible but risking too much is the talent I don't have. It's better to think twice again before taking a decision in your life.
There is no gamblers who didn't experienced losing. All of the gamblers must experience losing and after experiencing it, they will adjust whether they will continue or they will stop.

I know already that losing is part of gambling that is why whenever I gamble, I only use a small amount so that when I lose I don't feel anything bad to my losses. What most gamblers are doing is that they are gambling and if they lose, they will gamble again and try to regain their initial capital until they don't have money anymore. Well that isn't the case for a few gamblers since there are some who can win profits after they are losing at first and some even get the jackpot. It all comes to how much money you can risk and when to stop if its needed to.
Agree to it, even in life, losing is necessary for you to learn and make a good decision in case you've encountered a similar situation. In gambling, losing is normal, it's a game and it's not guaranteed that you will always win. The risk is always there in life, in different aspects, we should be careful about our decisions if we will continue or not. But before that, experience throughout the game is a must, that will help you to decide whether you'll go in or not. There's no assurance that you'll get a win in a day of your gambling career, always expect a lose.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 18, 2020, 01:16:42 PM
It looks like majority of players didn't read the terms and conditions rather than users who reads terms and conditions. It's true that sometimes we're lazy to read this because it's too long but what i do is search using the word search for the KYC and other stuff lang deposit and withdrawal to make it easier.
I don't usually read TOS as long as the platform is already trusted by many users. I know it's wrong since we should know what's inside a TOS, much information there might help us in case of conflict so it's important to give attention to it.

To be honest, I'm lazy to read, and just trusting a platform if it consists of a lot of good reviews. Also, if you're doing good and just doing casual betting on the platform, there will be no problem for you, it's fine if you didn't read it.
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's in the game, after all? on: October 18, 2020, 12:39:25 PM
To be explicit and begin with, by gambling I mean playing only the games of chance (think dice here), i.e. games where your skill doesn't matter, where the outcome is determined by luck alone
In short, I can say that gambling is one of the enjoyable elements for me which I used to do during my free time when I have no work to do. So I used it mostly to pass my free time to utilize it in a good manner.

Gambling can be considered as a part-time thing for me and it is not so serious for me as I will not make it so. If you have stored money which you want to utilize with enjoying then you are welcome here to do gambling as I play Dice many times and already I have got some profit for playing. It will be enjoyable too for you if you can make some profit from it.

It’s good to read that you enjoy the game of gambling and consider it for the entertainment and have a good fun time when doing it.  But then we have many who consider gambling is just about making money from it and becoming rich quickly. The problem arises from here when they start thinking only about wining from gambling which is not possible always
Gambling became interesting when people became serious about defeating their opponent or the game, that's why they're being bankrupt and having a losing streak.

Instead of enjoying and having fun on gambling games, they're very greedy to win the huge pot. I can't blame some people if there's a huge pot on a game, people will not hesitate to bet until they got it.

Gambling is probably for entertainment only, professional gamblers that join the league, and earning daily should be the one to make it as full-time.
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: October 18, 2020, 12:08:53 PM

IMHO, there's no difference w/ or w/o pandemic still most of the games are unpredictable. I don't think that this pandemic made betting harder.
There's nothing have changed since the day we've been betting. Odds, rosters, team issues, management, injuries, they haven't changed except that there's this pandemic in the midst of any match.

That is true I have seen the NBA and that was a very exciting championship series I don't see it being different if there is no pandemic, well I guess these players are professionals, they will play under any condition because that's where they are paid for and of course they know that they have fans watching at home and cheering for them, they have no choice but to give everything they've got.
You don't have to guess. They are all professionals.
They wouldn't get in to the league if they are not professionals. They are professional athletes, basketball players and been through a lot before being selected.
Agree, they have been through a lot of trials and experience before being a professional player in a popular league. A professional player or an athlete player will do everything on their ability to win and experience and sports battle. Pandemic isn't a hindrance to a player, and besides protocols are implemented to avoid cases of COVID-19.

They already planned all of the possible situations they might encounter during the tournament and we should be happy that they still continue the league. Also, organizers really wanted to continue this event since there's a lot of profit on this, and the gambling industry also benefits from this sports event.
1018  Economy / Economics / Re: Will African countries be developed? on: October 18, 2020, 10:03:37 AM
The corruption what made the life of citizens worse the existing politicians there didn't bother to upgrade things to make their people educated or to know more about the latest technology, maybe if they will put a good person on the higher office which aims for betterment of his country for sure Africa will get a high potential to be developed and compete with other rich countries.
Yeah, education plays an important role in choosing leaders too actually because it is easy to fool a mob of uneducated people while an educated person will always give vote to leader who has vision rather than false promises.

Africa has such a good nature resources core and despite that they have such dire times that people are dying of hunger that simply shows lack of concern from the leaders for their countrymen and having poor vision. If only they started to utilize their natural resources and mineral resources in a better way than they could have one of the best economies in world right now. Actually I never heard any major technological achievement coming from any African nation either so feels like lack of education is the primary reason behind which is the poor leadership.
That's why some politicians don't prioritize education and create a huge gap between poor people and rich people. In that way, the country will continuously become poor because it's full of uneducated people and greedy politicians that take advantage of the others. Education really plays a great part in our society and we should feel great if we have a good background education, we can easily determine right and wrong. If there's no huge gap between poor and rich people, I guess countries will become rich if they're cooperating and helping each other.
1019  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: October 18, 2020, 09:03:38 AM
In an era of digitalization like this, it is very outdated if we still use conventional banks. We can all live even though banking is extinct. Now is the era of Cashless living. So that banks are no longer needed. The main advantage of cashless living is, of course, the ease and safety of saving money. Just imagine, without having to move locations, we can already make payment transactions for almost all needs.
It's not outdated, the bank is improving their system and now they're having an online banking system which is very helpful for me because I'm using it right now. Banks already implemented this kind of system last year and many of bank users are adapting its online platform for fast transactions especially this pandemic. So, therefore, banks will still evolve and develop their system and they will not be outdated, it will exist for decades.
1020  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: October 18, 2020, 08:18:02 AM
I don't think it's possible for bitcoin to replace these mainstream assets which are oil and gold. Many crypto users are having thoughts of bitcoin as a safe-haven asset which is because it's the new-gen assets we can invest right now instead of the traditional assets.

They are treating bitcoin as the digital gold of this era since they are capable of trading worldwide. Well, technically, bitcoin's price value can overly take or replace gold since many investors will choose its price potential in the market.
