1021  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Starting as a Bitcoin Blogger on: December 15, 2023, 07:31:50 AM
Regarding mentors, you're going to have a hard time finding people that are going to do that for free, everyone here's got a price and if they're not interested in what you're doing you're going to be ignored. My suggestion to you if you want to become successful as a blogger, you need to find your platform. Either create your own website or join in one where they do articles like LinkedIn or Medium or if you want, maybe start here creating your own topics and posting it here, make sure that it's not just a wall of text when you're writing here, mind the spacing, margin and how you cut your paragraphs.

No work can be done properly without skill. As mentioned earlier how to play blackjack and poker is not only a matter of chance but also of skill. Conscious people don't think of gambling as a way to make money but play for fun and with good luck it is possible to win. Remember although tricks can improve your odds blackjack is still a game of chance and the outcome is never guaranteed. The objective is to make informed decisions manage your bankroll responsibly and enjoy the game. By applying these principles you will increase your chances of winning.
You're wrong about blackjack, if the card counters knew that they're not going to make a guaranteed success when they're playing blackjack then they wouldn't waste their time doing card counting. There's a reason why casinos are scared of them that's why I disagree with the idea that card counting in blackjack is a game that won't just improve your chances but also not guarantee an outcome, you probably don't know how card counting works so you're saying this, I recommend that you watch the movie 21 or maybe some math channel in Youtube about card counting and you'd know that what you're saying isn't true.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: December 15, 2023, 05:44:09 AM
Famous YouTuber MrBeast uploaded a video on his YouTube channel a few days ago where he bought a lot of lottery tickets for a million dollars hoping to win billions. MrBeast bought so many lotteries that they had to be brought in by truck. This YouTuber and his team scanned all the lotteries together and after scanning all the lotteries they got only $700K dollars they bought the lottery with a million dollars and they got only $700K dollars in return. Some of his lotteries have $50 some lotteries have $100 and very few lotteries have $1000 and most lotteries have $0. He is a big YouTuber and through this video of his I got so much idea that money should not be invested in such lotteries. If you are very lucky you might get $1000 but that is very few people get. All the lotteries I have ever won have gone against me and I have never won a lottery.
That's how lottery and lottery tickets are designed to be, they're not supposed to make an easy win for someone so it's fair that they're at that kind of odds, it's not like they're not losing a lot of customers when they do that right? That's probably the average that Mr. Beast done for lottery, you pay a thousand and you get your 700 back. It's not rigged, it's just that the odds are so low that you might as well just give that lottery ticket money to someone because that's the same thing. If lottery is easy to win, we would've been doing it as a profession already, there's no need for mathematicians that are good at calculating odds and probabilities.

However, everyone's attitudes and emotions are different. Some people need a process so they can control and take positive action on what happens to them after losing or winning.
It is not easy for every gambler who is very emotional and addicted to control his activities. Maybe you need someone else to remind you to start controlling. but everything is still part of the process. Changes in behavior are possible, but we must wisely adapt to our circumstances.
I'm not saying that everyone's the same, my point is that you have to feel that emotion and let it all out because it's not wrong to feel those things, the difference the processing of the emotion. What I mean is that if you're ecstatic or so happy after a win, your move on how you will continue playing or not is the control that I'm talking about or for when you're losing, are you going to let frustration and anger make you continue playing or you will decide then and there that you're going to stop gambling today. Discipline is the key to that control, now if you have a little of that or you're lacking in that department, wouldn't this be the right time to be learning about it and how you can have that discipline?
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: December 15, 2023, 04:34:13 AM
I feel what you describe from time to time, but as soon as I feel it, I start to think that I need to control myself and I work to normalize my behavior. I believe that everything is in our will. It's up to us to be slaves to our emotions or to use them properly and enjoy life.
Good for you, that's kind of awesome that you're able to control and be aware that you're starting to feel a certain emotion, you don't have to be so hard on yourself when it comes to controlling your emotions, remember that it's a natural thing for someone to feel that emotion. I don't think that feeling those emotions are a bad thing when you're gambling and if you're winning or losing, shouldn't that be the normal thing to happen for someone when they experience something, you have to check on yourself if you're not feeling those emotions or behavior because that means there's something wrong if not different with how you process emotion, these feelings are okay to feel, what our next action is what dictates how we will do things.
1026  Other / Archival / Re: New strategy for casinos! on: December 15, 2023, 04:11:31 AM
Many of those top quality posters who joined mixer campaign aren't gamblers, so the drawback they might not post in gambling board.

I'm not sure if we will see a new casinos campaign very soon after the mixer ban begin, but the current casinos can volunteer hiring them, just like some top users are wearing Duelbits signature.
They'll learn to post here and I'm sure they'll quickly adjust because most of them are really good at posting so no problem there. Casino campaigns will be something that we have to look out for or maybe even have the existing campaigns beef up their funds to accommodate other users or do what Bitvest does, having tiers so they can recruit more at a lower pay. Hopefully we get to see more casinos doing signature campaigns but that's not for me to decide to happen, if they don't see doing a campaign helping them then so be it.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Passionate gambler keeps the gambling boards rolling even after retirements on: December 14, 2023, 06:09:24 AM
Pretty awesome way to giving back to the community, that must've a lot of money that he's got from his job that he doesn't know what to do with it and so he just goes for this kind of stuff, doing competitions and such. That's something that I aspire to be one day, when I finally have a great career or maybe even just retire with a lot of money and I hope that I'm not the only one that aspires to be that guy because those competitions seems pretty awesome to me.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bankroll! on: December 14, 2023, 05:23:28 AM
Who are these people that are dreaming of investing in sports betting? I'm sure that there's not a lot of people that are going to do that even when you make it look logical, sounds to me like you're creating fictional people that are considering investing in sports betting because I haven't seen a lot of users posting here that even consider that not even the NBA or Football mega threads. But if you're talking about short-term funds for sports betting then I would say I'd be comfortable to have around 200 USD because it's a safe amount, not too big for me but at the same time enough for me to make some profit in case I get a win in my bet.
1029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who should quit, and why? on: December 14, 2023, 03:59:47 AM
To me, it's weird that they even considered marrying and living together with both having this kind of habit of being a gambler. To humor the question though, I think that it's best for the both of them to quit gambling since that money could be spent on other stuff that could help the household instead of just gambling that money away but if there's an addiction going on and it can't be helped, I think that the wife should quit because if the husband is still working, the wife can do the housework when she stops gambling unlike with the husband who's probably the provider in the family, he might not be able to find the energy to do housework.
1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Heritage is Some How Spiritual on: December 14, 2023, 03:30:10 AM
Don't be too emotional or spiritual for that matter about what a football club is, they're a business that caters to the demand of the fans to have a team that represents their country, place and state. They just appeal to the emotional side of the consumers so they can get more money out of them, that's the cold hard truth about this football clubs being a part of the community, sure the players and the coaches might be in it for the camaraderie and being a part of the people that support them but the football club behind the scene, they're definitely in it for the money only.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler takes his own life after a loss. on: December 14, 2023, 02:49:35 AM
I was coward to kill myself. No amount of money that I lost that will make me kill myself. If there is life there is hope.

This kind of problem starts from depression and hopelessness. He might thought there is no way out anymore. But this is wrong. He might be richer than what he thought he would have become if he has not killed himself.

It is painful to hear this kind of story.

When I was addicted to gambling, I lost huge amount of money and I was depressed and thought there is no future for me. But I saw more opportunities that I was not expecting after I thought all has ended.
It's true that there's no amount of money that it triggers you to kill yourself but that don't mean that you're a coward for doing that, tell that opinion to a person who lost their loved ones to suicide and then come back here and see if that's the truth, the Japanese don't even see suicide as cowardly sometimes because there are times when it's an honorable one. It is painful to hear that story but to start your post about cowardice is probably the most hypocritical that you can do, in fact whatever you're saying after that it's true.

I'm reading the replies in the thread and it sickens me that it seems that everyone here is soulless as I think they are and that you people are just here to fill your quotas in your signature campaigns, you might not know this people but the point of the news is that a person killed himself and it's probably not just because of the money that he's lost so stop saying stuff that are insensitive and keep that to yourself, it's weird that you criticize the person who killed himself and at the same time try to garner sympathy by saying fake stuff like you've experienced depression, you're not depressed trust me, you're just retarded and you know who you are and you are too many to mention.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers should not believe in first game win trap on: December 14, 2023, 01:56:43 AM
Yes it's not true and that people shouldn't believe in this trap for the reason why this trap looks like it's true is because a lot of people when they win, they tend to not think straight and so they end up having to do stupid stuff like not doing the same strategy that they created to win some might say it's beginner's luck but let me tell you, that what I've just mentioned about first game wins that's making it look like a trap.

We are talking about easiest as in if you gamble once and put it all in and put it at a risky stuff, like 1% chance to win then you are going to end up winning a HUGE return if you win, but the most likely outcome (literally 99% of the time) you will lose it all. So while it looks like the easiest way of making money, it's also the easiest way to lose money as well and majority of the people do end up losing money very quickly and they lose even more trying to recover from that at the same time.
That's why it's a trap even though it's just a psychological phenomenon that people have believed to be a true and real. I find it weird that people are willing to risk all their money for this one chance even though I know it's a gamble, I do think that there should be some form of control or bankroll management so you can make the most out of gambling experience and at the same time don't make it easy for the casino to get all of your money.
1033  Other / Meta / Re: Was the forum better before without Merit or is it better now with Merit? on: December 13, 2023, 07:05:28 AM
If you truly understand the reason for the introduction of the merit system then you will understand that it was intended for something good and not bad, we don't need the spammers to get rankef up, the merits system will fight against them and ever since then, there have been moderation in times of dealing with these spammers and trollers, most of them were also confined to the altcoins sections then you could easily found on the main bitcoin discussion boards.
Exactly and it's also difficult for account farms to grow because it's difficult to rank up anymore unlike the last time where they can just create more and more account and then apply it to signature campaigns but most obviously it's for spammers and at the same time make sure that the contents in the forum grow to a much higher standard because those who do good with their posts are given merit so they're more inspired to do it more. Merit system is actually a good way to prevent abuse and exploits in the forum and I've seen a lot of games and forums do measures against spams and so far, this is the best that I've seen or heard.
1034  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin's privacy battle and an ominous warning to the community on: December 13, 2023, 06:08:57 AM
There's no other way around this and this will be the future if the community doesn't do any actions about this right now, no more talking will be needed because the authorities are just shrugging off our plights and concerns about our privacy, either a protest or something that creates a big ripple has to happen, no way to fight against this injustice anymore besides taking an action and saying what they need to hear in their faces. It's a crazy time for mixers and crypto and this events will definitely be a make or break for many of us.
1035  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we see repeat of 2017 or new trend? on: December 13, 2023, 05:18:40 AM
There are some reasons why I doubt the 2017 trend will be different; Bitcoin was much cheaper at that time than it is now -- $900-$20,000 -- so it was easy for the coin to have an enormous pump all at once. When the last bull run started, it took a long time to pump and many corrections before it reached its peak. A difference from 2017 is that this started before the halving took place. I feel the trend this time is likely going to be like the 2021 with similar regular correction while it climb and no one will be able to know when we get to the peak for weeks untill the dip hard
This could be the factor that might make it ever so different than last time but then there's more institutional investors in the market and more corporations that are willing to put in huge amounts of money to invest in bitcoin so in a way, there's nothing that has changed but there's always a first time for everything with bitcoin, maybe it will be a different pattern than the last time but I know that there's more to this than many of us expects.
1036  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coinbase App Store rank as a market top indicator on: December 13, 2023, 04:21:21 AM
When there's really no one that's competing on the service that you're providing and you've got a really good advertising team behind you then it should come as no surprise that they're going to be in that position and not to mention that Coinbase is also a good app and website for all news that's cryptocurrency related. I hope that they're going to continue doing good and keep innovating as a crypto news website, that's my only wish for them since they're doing good so far.
1037  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: December 11, 2023, 07:33:17 AM
~
KYC verification is very important for many casinos that are endorsed by the government that is why it is very for us to choose wisely.
Cryptocurrency gambling platform are very conscious about verification so we need to choose the ones that works for us except so we don't end up using a casino that does not interest us or have the features that we really need. Even though we have a casino that we want to us, it is good for us to gamble very wisely and not keep gambling without making consistent profits.
Well obviously it should be that way for government owned casinos they're the authority after all so it's weird if they don't employ KYC policies in their casinos if they owned one. Yes, you should be careful with where you do your verification but the point is that some casinos don't say that they have a hidden policy when withdrawing money and so they end up with this kind of issue which catches the players off-guard so it's not a matter of feature for your casino that they're looking for if the casino is against them when they want to do something.
1038  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Help , Sobrang taas ng fee Pano mag send ng mas mababa and fees? on: December 11, 2023, 06:41:19 AM
This is a big move for a crypto community, though malaki talaga ang reason siguro kaya ipagbabawal na ito. Magingat tayo dito and make sure you are not promoting any kind of project like this anymore, and seriously baka kahit sabihen yang word na yan is hinde ko na gawin.

Nakakatakot maban dito kase sobrang laking tulong ng forum na ito sa akin and syempre andito ren lahat ang mga updates and topics that you might need. Any issues with this project? Or in relation paren ito sa laundering?
