1021  Other / Off-topic / Re: The eyes and the screen. on: March 24, 2023, 06:19:29 AM
What I have been doing mostly to take care of my eyes is that I will wear my glasses when I am sitting in front of my computer. This helps me reduce the tension from staring at my computer for long periods of time. What I have learned to do is take frequent breaks to give my eyes some rest.

When it is necessary, I also use clear eyes to reduce the redness around my eyes. I also reduce the brightness level on my computer screen by setting a timer. The timer truly helps to properly adjust your computer's screen brightness throughout your day.

I try to get plenty of sleep to rest my eyes and not have headaches due to staring at a computer screen for long periods of time. If needed I also want to make sure to have a good amount of space between me and computer screen.
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which of your friends and relatives deals with bitcoin? on: March 23, 2023, 07:04:25 AM
I like to talk about Bitcoin with most people including my family and friends. I think it's cool that we are adopting a new way to move and use money. However, only a few of my friends are into it since most think it's too risky.
I think this is due to alot of fud and scammers they hear about. They are the ones that create a bad reputation for Bitcoin. Because they take advantage of honest and hard-working people who are really looking to get into it but end up not wanting to.
Can see why people would still be skeptical. But the good thing is that I did my research and made sure I knew what I was doing when I became involved. I showed my uncle who is more old fashioned and likes to deal with stocks. And I was able to educate him and got him to invest a little in Bitcoin.
1023  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin continue to rise on: March 22, 2023, 04:38:46 AM
I am starting to think $15.5k may prove to be the lowest point of this correction but it’s difficult to say for sure. I certainly hope that was the bottom that’s for sure. On the other hand, it wouldn’t shock me if I we saw it dip below $15k.

As more of a long hold investor in BTC, I try and not focus on the price too much. My view is more about patience and wait this out because it’s only a matter of time until BTC recovers and hits a new all time. I do not know if we are out of the 'bear market' or not but I am feeling 'bullish' at the moment.
1024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: March 22, 2023, 04:02:10 AM
Yes it is pumping and we can think it is some good news we are expecting from SEC court case. If you are a XRP holder you are getting some nice profits right now.

XRP is up almost 20% just in last 24 hours. This is highest in top 100 on coinmarketcap. This is the 1st time in month of March XRP is above 40 cents and is the 4-month high for the coin.
1025  Other / Off-topic / Re: Don't drink and drives on: March 20, 2023, 03:17:25 AM
This is some very good advice. Drinking and driving is really not something you should ever do. The brother of my good friend was in a bad wreck after a night out on the town drinking. He has not recovered since the wreck think it is because it was a nearly death experience for him and the passenger with him in his car.

I am not a big drinker no more so this is not a big problem for me. If I ever do want to have a drink out of my home I will walk to the location. Just to avoid making myself in this position to drink and drive.
1026  Economy / Speculation / Re: why Bitcoin Dumping ? on: March 19, 2023, 05:23:11 AM
Bitcoin is not dumping no more. I hope no one made a bad habit to 'panic sell' during the correction. I think people panic sell because they feel the benefits of seeing their investment succeed do not outweigh their perceived negative consequences of a loss.

For example, behavioral economists have observed that people are naturally loss averse.  They like winning but they hate losing more. Therefore, people sell because at the end of the day they are committed to avoid losing than to actually winning.
1027  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc get to $12k or $10k on: March 19, 2023, 04:44:03 AM
Well we can all say this will not be happening. Now we see Bitcoin very stable at price of 27k for a few days now I think it will only go up from here.

There is much momentum at this time and we are tending north not south for Bitcoin price. It is possible for a Bitcoin 'crash' again but way its going I think more then likely will see 30k soon and not test prices this low.
1028  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready for the rising and pumping hours. on: March 18, 2023, 07:31:20 AM
Well I am ready for some big Bitcoin pumps to occur. I am going to be more realistic with my future expectations for Bitcoin price but I am also still feeling 'bullish'. Forgetting the price of Bitcoin of 100k any time soon.

There is a big number of 100k that we like to talk about. I did think we were going to see this price per coin sooner then later. I am going to have lower expecting for the future Bitcoin price and not listen to all the fomo and just keep hodling.
1029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early bitcoin investment for my baby on: March 18, 2023, 06:02:59 AM
Very happy for you to to enjoy fatherhood with your newborn. I was never close to my father so enjoy these early memories you have with your baby. Make it a lifelong bond and remember he is a little blessing for everyone.

Giving your newborn Bitcoin is the nicest thing you can do. It is better then giving them just fiat in a bank account or bonds or gold. In only a few years his Bitcoin will be profitable and he will appreciate you when he becomes older. You are how every father should be for their kids.
1030  Economy / Speculation / Re: 26k mark finally breached on: March 18, 2023, 05:19:26 AM
Well now Bitcoin price of 26k is a thing of the past. The current price of Bitcoin is $27,400. It is the first time we have seen this price of past 27k since June 2022 and we might not be done pumping just yet.

We are really enjoying some nice gains here this last week with price of Bitcoin. In this last week the price is up 33% and 6% in the last 24 hours. I do not want to become too excited to say this is a 'bull run' but we will find out soon in next few days if this run is here to stay.
1031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: March 18, 2023, 04:50:39 AM
Bitcoin will always be the king of crypto. But with having a marketcap of almost $210 billion it is safe to admit that ETH is the King of altcoins.
This marketcap is more then 4 times of next Altcoin BNB. So I do not think there will ever be another Altcoin to have the volume that Ethereum does.
Add to this it has a use case and dapps and this only makes this statement stronger. Bitcoin always going to be number 1 of all the crypto with Ethereum behind it.
1032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF said: WHAT HAPPENED? on: March 17, 2023, 07:33:57 AM
It has been announced that SBF received $2.2 billion from working at FTX. Most of these funds came from Alameda Research.

Alameda former CEO Caroline Ellison received $6 million. Total money transfers were in total $3.2 billion.

1033  Other / Off-topic / Re: Outdoor or indoor activities? on: March 17, 2023, 06:00:03 AM
I enjoy spending my time doing outdoor activities because it makes me feel young and remember when I would go camping with my grandfather. I also enjoy going on walks to feel the fresh air and being able to set up my BBQ grill to cook hot dogs and hamburgers.
By the time I am done eating, I like to catch up on a few chapters by reading my favorite book called, “ A Travel Guide To Heaven” by Anthony Destefano. It’s a really good book that I recommend to anyone that believes in Heaven and the afterlife.
Another type of outdoor activity that I enjoy is running. I literally can work up a good sweat that has me jumping into a lake just to cool off and feel relaxed when I come out of the water. By the time I dry myself up, I'll sit down to appreciate the sunset while watching a good movie on Netflix with my phone.
1034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Solana hit $40 this year? on: March 17, 2023, 04:40:37 AM
Well $40 is double its current price of $20 so it can be possible. For a long time they made us think that this coin was going to be the "ethereum killer".  This was done by doing very good marketing on social media and with influencers talking bout it.

When the 'bear market' started Solana like rest of Crypto market I think the hype behind it started to die down.  I remember when solana was priced at a all time high of $259 per coin last November and to see it now at $20 per coin so many people lost alot.
1035  Economy / Economics / Re: Lending money or damaging family bond ? on: March 17, 2023, 04:26:07 AM
I do not think you have done anything wrong here. It does not matter to me if you are family if you are not trustworthy then it is too risky for me to lend you money.

It becomes complicated with family members wanting a loan. Hard to say no when we know they can use the money. I did loan money to my mother RIP but did not ever ask her to pay back the loan. But this can not be the same situation for a relative like a cousin.
1036  Other / Off-topic / Re: What all men's want most in life on: March 17, 2023, 04:17:41 AM
I believe that most men in life seek power because having power gives you control and influence. And this can be applied to just about everything that a man does, from his personal life to work.

Take for example a person that just got hired at a warehouse for an entry-level position, he won’t have that much power or authority over other coworkers or employees. As opposed to a supervisor or manager that knows the operation of the job along with other necessary skills.

In this position not only do you have a certain amount of control but as well as the power to either hire or fire a worker. This also means that by having control and power you shouldn’t be diminishing other people’s egos, instead be an example by being a great leader with a humble attitude.

People or coworkers will recognize you for being a great guy with them and not letting power get to your head.
1037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth staking stablecoins? on: March 14, 2023, 07:19:24 AM
Well in the past I was a fan of staking my coins on the exchanges. It was very easy to earn free coins for not doing anything. Stablecoins like usdt was my favorite to stake.
But now with what is going on in crypto, I do not feel as confident about it. When you stake on the exchange, it does have control over your money. 'Not your keys, not your coins' is now how I feel about this.
1038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF said: WHAT HAPPENED? on: March 14, 2023, 07:06:14 AM
SBF trial is supposed to begin on October 2. But his lawyers want to push that back. This is because there is evidence they need from federal prosecutors and to prepare properly for his defense.

I still can not believe this man is out of jail on $250 million bond on house arrest. He needs to be careful because judge thinks his proposed bail conditions is too 'cushy' https://gizmodo.com/sbf-sam-bankman-fried-ftx-judge-bail-rules-too-cushy-185021333
1039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Includes happiness and Bitcoin on: March 14, 2023, 06:45:53 AM
This must be very exciting for you to see your first Bitcoin ATM where you live. I still haven’t used a bitcoin ATM which is surprising for me because I’m a pretty big fan of Bitcoin.
I think I would be interested in trying one. One of the main reasons would be curiosity and just general interest. I would love to see how the process works and check out the whole process.
I have noticed more BTC ATMs around and I think it’s nice to see them showing up. Typically though with my BTC I prefer to hodl so I maybe will buy some to test the ATM.
1040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: March 14, 2023, 05:51:27 AM
Well this will depend on which of the altcoin you invest in. You want a 700 percent return on your investment so maybe it will be best to diversify. It will be netter then just investing $100 in one single alt coin.
Ethereum, BNB, and Cardano is my recommendations for you. This way if one does not to so well you can make up for that with the other coins in your portfolio. 'Do not put all your eggs into one basket' when you invest in altcoins.
