Why would you send me to a game right now, is this an attempt to delay launch? I might not come back before the last level I know you can multitask. You probably even have two or more screens. Shouldn't be a problem. Good luck with launch, I will be here to mine me some fried chickenz.

Have had the best experience on your pool. Will you be ready at launch? Sure, absolutely The thing I like best is that I don't have to keep registering for every new coin.

Yes it started working after about 1.5 days of syncing (bitcoin), I was able to start mining shortly after.
I had some issues with a memory leak or maybe just the client using alot of memory while syncing the BTC bockchain.
I just want to add, this is an interesting coin. I think I'll keep mining it with one of my computers.
Can you give an estimate to how many coins you are mining per hour///per day, and with what does it mine, CPU or GPU? CPU I have Intel i5 4670 @ 3.60 GH/z GPU I have Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970Ghz Edition @ 1.2 GHz Not many people are mining right now so its the best time to get on this. If I had to estimate I would guess about 4000 - 5000 coins /day with your CPU at the current difficulty. Its wallet mining only so you can point your GPU to something else at the same time. Just make sure to leave a CPU thread for the GPU mining program.

Whenever I launch the bitcredit QT, I keep getting "Bitcredit: No block source available..." "2 weeks behind" What's that about o.O
the bitcoin is synching just fine, 4 yrs 3 weeks behind right now
Give it time to connect to the network.. Mine took about 2 minutes before it say peers on the bitcredit network. I've had the QT launched for about 15 minutes now :/ Bitcoin sync is at 3 yrs 30 weeks now ----- 8 active connections to the network Bitcredit still No block source available ----- 6 active connections to the network When I synced up I had to wait for the bitcoin blockchain to sync before it would sync the bitcredit blockchain. May I ask if you did get it to work eventually? Yes it started working after about 1.5 days of syncing (bitcoin), I was able to start mining shortly after. Um....Blackcoin was like 99% instamined in first 3 days....
Complete lie or ignorant response. Darkcoin was instamined. Not Blackcoin. Get your facts straight before posting.

|
|
I predict this one gets ignored by the community.
Clearly an attempt at making some BTC for doing nothing.
EDIT: okay let me help you make your coin.
No premine, No IPO, No Instamine.
KGW or DGW or some good difficult re-adjustment is needed. The stock coin creator sites just are not going to cut it.
BOTH scrypt and Sha256 algos.
PoW period of 2 weeks or so. Lets say 30,000 blocks or whatever.
PoS kicks in after block 30,000 or whatever you decide. NO PoS blocks during PoW cause thats just amature.
Give us a reason to point thousands of dollars worth of mining equipment and hundreds in electrical costs at this coin. Look at Crave and what they did with their roadmap.
Get coinssource approved.

Wallet Update
PinkCoin 1.2 Release Candidate (lite)
I am currently testing some wallet improvements, especially for people with a large number of coins (1m+) that are continuously staking. Please make a backup of your wallet.dat and test these wallets, especially if you've been having issues with the wallet hanging/freezing. Do not expect this wallet to solve the problem right away, it will happen slowly over time as you continue staking. These improvements were made on the lite wallet to make it easier to track down problems. Once I am sure the lite wallet is running stably I will port the new updates to Pinkcoin 2.0. PinkCoin Windows Wallet 1.2 RC1 PinkCoin Mac OS X Wallet 1.2 RC1Updates:Re-calibrated Staking System: The staking system will consolidate coins in larger chunks. Over time this will reduce PC workload, reduce orphans, reduce the overall weight on the network, make staking more consistent, and the wallet more responsive regardless of the number of coins you have in it. Network Weight Algorithm: Estimated time to stake should now be more accurate. New hardcoded nodes: Pinkcoin.conf should no longer be necessary to just connect to the network. Updated security: The windows wallet is updated to OpenSSL 1.0.1L, the Mac wallet is updated to OpenSSL 1.0.2. The wallets include the necessary fixes to make them compatible with clients running previous versions. This is a Recommended, but not a Mandatory update. If you would like to continue running the 2.0 wallet until a new release is made, please feel free. But if you are having issues with your wallet, please try this one for a few days and see if the situation improves. If you have any issues with the wallet please do not hesitate to reply here or contact me or fayoling via PM. Thanks, Sumgye Thanks Sumgye, I'm testing this now. Will let you know how it works out. So far its making larger stake rewards. Looks like 5x to 10x larger amounts. Its still freezing up with not responding for a few seconds every now and then. I'm going to let it run for a day and report back.

I wonder if the US government can prosecute users of shadow simply based on the fact that the client is used for buying illegal drugs. Think about this for a second. If this market place is truly decentralized then the entire contents are hosted on individual's computers via the blockchain. That means that both orders and merchandise and all transactions are on shadow's users hard drives. Maybe the US or other nations will simply bust you for enabling the "drug network" by running your client (node). Since without you or anyone else participating the marketplace is essentially dead.
I think they can prove this in court as well. If the marketplace is used primarily for illegal things then why else would you be running it?
I know what your going to say, why don't the powers that be bust TOR users. Well, Tor can be used for many different reasons. A decentralized silk road is used for only one purpose. Especially when you have an anonymous currency tied to it. I don't think they will have a problem convincing a judge either. Better hope that your IP is obfuscated each time you load that client.

why would i send my wallet.dat to anyone lol
Nobody would do that. The distribution is like CLAMS. He even gives instructions on how to do this without any risk of loosing your coins. 1. Make a copy of your Bitcoin wallet, alternatively export the private keys you want to use from the Bitcoin wallet. 2. Move the Bitcoins that you want to claim to a new Bitcoin address. Preferably this new address is a paper wallet. Information on how to create a paper wallet can be found by a Google search, the most common site used to create paper wallets is https://www.bitaddress.org. 3. Take the copy of the Bitcoin wallet that you created in step 1 and add it to the Bitcredit client. 4. Initiate a rescan of the wallet from Bitcredit. 5. Claim the coins. That was taken from his forums.

My mother is terminally ill with lung cancer. She is getting pain killers (morphine based patches since today), but I was wondering if anyone here has experience vaping CDB (Cannabidiol) in an electronic cigarette?
The goal, obviously, is not to get her 'high', its to reduce her pain and anxiety, which is why I like the idea of vaping CDB without the THC. It would also help if it created some food craving, like a regular joint often does, because she is not eating well at all.
I noticed you can buy CDB based eliquids, apparently even ~legally, but I have no idea if the those concentrations are high enough to do anything, or if its just a marketing gimmick. Also, Im a moderately experienced vaper myself, but have no idea if I need a special atomizer for this, I heard it was very thick ?
Any pointers would be appreciated, doctors here are not well versed in this yet.
Vaping is okay but I don't think it will help much. She needs to start ingesting cannabis oil in small doses and work her way up to 1gm/day or more. After 3 months the cancer should be gone or well on its way. Oh, and she will be high. If it were my mother I would just plant some seeds in her garden and then make my own oil. That could take about 4 to 5 months. If time is crucial you can get cannabis oil from the dark markets on Tor. The Oil is typically sold in syringes. The syringes are used to inject the oil into gel capsules that are then swallowed. This way you can regulate your doses. Start small, like a grain of rice sized dose, and work your way up over the course of a month. The science behind cannabanoids https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=like1CuG4dARick Simpson is the guy that discovered/re-discovered this cure. If you do some Google searches you'll find a plethora of information.

I don't use antivirus or anti-malware. I like my PC running fast. I also disable any startup programs unless they are required for the operation of hardware.
I also disable windows services that I don't use. Firewall for example.

Looks like staking is already happening. So less than 1 million coins once PoS kicks in.
Any plans for this coin?
