Sana may makatulong tungkol dito.

1242  Other / Politics & Society / Re: IDF are terrorists who bomb children in schools. on: December 10, 2023, 07:05:17 AM
Spreading already debunked propaganda will only make you look bad. Even Israeli mouthpieces have already confessed that it was IDF that slaughtered people.
Now this is just depressing, I don't care what the argument that Israel has on attacking Palestine, they need to be eradicated once and for all, maybe find a new holy land and steal from another country like a parasite. Israel is doing what their oppressors back in WW2 have done to their people and they're not that broken up about what they're doing, now they're fabricating stories to support this unholy crusade that they're doing against Palestine. It's such a sad thing that this is their price for having to defend their so called "country", if they weren't the inventor of UZI and efficient spy network, they would've been gone a long time ago.
1243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking forward to invest on: December 10, 2023, 05:58:20 AM
If you have $50 then you can go on for bitcoin beacose the amount is low but enough amount bor investment as a new investor. Nothing is small. All small things make big thinks. It's not easy to be an investor but if you started the don't look back forward. Beacose if you bring success from here easyly if you hold it. Best of luck go on buddy as a new investor it will bring success soon.
The problem with this investment is that it's such a low amount that it's a hard time for OP to hodl it for a long time because there's always that possibility that there's no follow up investment to this and that OP is going will be discouraged at how small the amount in bitcoin it is, maybe if this is a consistent $50 bitcoin investment I would say that it could work fine but if it's not then OP would need to wait for a really long time for the profit of this $50 bitcoin grow into something profitable.
1244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No risk no reward on: December 10, 2023, 05:26:35 AM
Be careful about this adage though as it's not the truth most of the time because scammers use this to entice you into investing in their investment scheme that only aims to get your money and leave you hanging in the air. Although this is a good thing to keep in mind, you have to be smart about what you're risking for because not everything investment or in life is worth risking over just because there's a reward that's waiting for you.
1245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Vulnerability that allowed Ordinals to exist now has its own CVE code on: December 10, 2023, 04:04:35 AM
I say that the devs fix this vulnerability so the people won't needlessly suffer from high tx fees caused by ordinals. Besides hoping for the fix in the vulnerability, I do hope too that the miners wouldn't mind having this vulnerability fixed, they've got it going while it's still good so why prolong it and just have them all the benefits of bitcoin right?
1246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally Bitcoin Devolpers planning to kill Ordinals and Inscription on: December 10, 2023, 03:46:54 AM
Good, it’s a nonsense spam attack on the network. Go & fork off, do it on their own blockchain. We don’t need that nonsense in the serious commodity sector. People will say it’s censorship but ordinals are a waste of time & they negatively affect people who are trying to better their lives by using an alternative to traditional finance.
I don't get the point of doing inscriptions in bitcoin so I agree that it's not something that we should tolerate, maybe it was a fun time when they inscribed the whitepaper but now, I feel like it's being overused and the people that are doing transactions daily are the ones that are shouldering the burden. I hope that the developers and the miners will find some way to meet halfway and at the same time, make bitcoin have a legitimate reason why the tx fees are so expensive.
1247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY PEOPLE ARE NOT TAKING THEIR PRIVACY SERIOUSLY. on: December 10, 2023, 03:26:43 AM
This is definitely not about one person's privacy but the importance of many. If you think about it, many people get scammed and their money has been transferred to a wallet and will be mixed or any of that "shady" "hide" stuff that you are talking about. To prevent that and have a hope to return it, it should be transparent and can be seen on the blockchain, which is the "decentralized" part of cryptocurrency. It's not just about "not hiding" but to be transparent is to let others know that you have nothing to hide.

This is not for selfish reasons, but for the many, I think.
Totally, that's should be the point of all of this stuff, there's a reason why bitcoin's got a public ledger so why hide something when a lot of people can benefit from not hiding and as you've said already, scammers are taking advantage of these features that many crypto offers, there's not a lot of people that I know that are happy or hyped up about the privacy that crypto wallets or mixers offers and I do agree with that statement, if you have nothing to hide then why be scared? No one can tamper a transaction that's already been done already and I think that if mixers and wallets that hide transactions cooperate with stuff involving money laundering and criminal activities, they might be able to keep their businesses but at the core of it all, it breaks the principle of privacy so a lot of people are still divided about this to this day. Sometimes the good of the many is what matters and in the case of this one, the people that will benefit from transparency is larger than those that won't benefit.
1248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alternative source to invest in the Bitcoin since the price gone scarily high on: December 10, 2023, 02:56:09 AM
Quote
we could make more money if paid in Bitcoin.
How is that possible? You mean equivalently in fiat you get more bitcoin because you don't need living expenses for 2 weeks, not because you chose bitcoin?
Probably what @AVE5 meant is that when we get paid in bitcoin, the price of bitcoin goes up in value the next day so technically you're making more money but the opposite can be true too, you can get paid less all of a sudden when the price goes down.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever been a gambling addict? on: December 10, 2023, 02:23:32 AM
I've never been a gambling addicts before and don't think i will one day turn to be that nasty on addiction no matter how am craving for the satisfaction in gambling, same also, i dislike seing other people getting addicted for no reason, addiction has no better benefits than to make one useless at the end after being a successful gambler for years, the target is about the end of a gambler and not how he has began, that's why we should always think about the future consequences of every actions we are taking today, they must have a future plan for our own sake.
You can never say that because people that have tried alcohol, cigarettes and drugs said that same thing too and now they're a part of their habit and they can't shake it off and whenever they're not doing it, the addicted ones are itching to get them again and again until they don't have the money anymore. Don't blame them for being addicted though, it's not like they really have control over their addiction, if they did then they would've stopped a long time ago, by disliking or being distant to them will only lead to nothing but continuous usage and the proliferation of addiction, in a way it's the responsibility of other to at least give the helping whenever someone asks for it.
1250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Interview for sports bettors. on: December 10, 2023, 01:46:24 AM
1- How long have you been gambling in sports?
Close to 3 years but I would say that it's just around 3 months if we're talking only about the days that I've done sports betting, that's around the total or maybe even less.
2 -What are your worst experience in sports betting?
I only do online sports betting so most of the time the worst experience that I've got is probably just the favorite team to win got wrecked by the underdog, not the comeback kind of loss but total defeat with a 2 digit lead or something.
3-What are your best experience in sports betting?
Probably betting on the least favored team with the highest odds. Multiplied my money more than I've expected.
4-What can you advise on the new gamblers and those who struggles in sports betting?
Just take it easy and don't try to overdo your betting, set aside a fund and never go over the funds that you've set for your gambling/betting habit. Most of all, just enjoy the experience and the thrill of betting for your favorite team.
1251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: December 09, 2023, 09:53:24 AM
Gambling has done more harm than good to players, why do you think that the country has really taken it upon themselves to restrict their citizens from playing?
That's because they think that there's a way to argue that gambling is a big positive to society so they try to find even the smallest benefit and exaggerate the hell out of that benefit to make it think that gambling has a big impact to the society. Another reason for the restriction of their citizens from playing is so that these citizens don't play in casinos but in state sponsored if not owned lottery that's sure to generate them more profit. The only thing that I can think that gambling has ever benefited society is it's contribution to taxes but that can be avoidable for gambling business most of the time as they're likely to find ways to keep all the profit and pay less taxes.
The only way you can benefit from gambling is when you own a casino and the country has understood this and that is why they have casinos all over the country but still doesn't allow their citizens to play because they understand the risks of gambling addiction.
I'm not saying gambling has no advantages, no, gambling has few advantages, there are times gambling has helped us in unexpected situations, helped us sort a few bills and helped us solve a few problems but that doesn't change the fact that the disadvantages are more than the advantages.
There are advantages to gambling, it just so happens that it's not really a big benefit to the whole human experience and human condition, it's just an entertainment thing you know, like television and cigarettes, vices at best and addiction at worst. I don't know why people still discuss and justify the benefits of gambling as if the impact that it contributes drives innovation to the humanity as a whole.
1252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Low cost but effective solutions to gambling addiction on: December 09, 2023, 07:56:12 AM
Intervention from your loved ones is probably the most low cost that I can think of in terms of a solution to gambling, it's free and the people that are trying to help you will do it for free, they might even sponsor your therapy in the case that you're so addicted in gambling. Intervention from your family is also a big help because that can also make you feel that you're not alone in your battle against addiction and that they still believe in you that you will be able to recover from your addiction.
Using fake money to gamble is a solution that can be used for people who want to experience gambling games without having to deposit money. They can experience many gambling games, especially slots, which have a variety of slot games from many slot providers.

By playing gambling games using fake money, they can enjoy their gambling games without having to think about gambling addiction. But if they choose to deposit their money to gamble and want to experience real gambling, at that point, they could run into problems. And it can indeed cause gambling addiction for them while they don't know how to anticipate it.

They shouldn't try to visit the casino for any purpose other than to experience any problems from gambling. Especially if they don't have self-control when playing slots, either using money or using fake money.
I'm trying to not laugh about this solution because I don't really know if it's effective but this is by far the funniest and creative solution that I've read when it comes to solving someone's gambling addiction although in the long-term, I do feel like this isn't the most optimal solution to help someone that's addicted because they're still gambling and compare that to when they gamble with real money, they now have a sort of unlimited one and they will never stop gambling.
1253  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you regret also for ever knowing about gambling? on: December 09, 2023, 07:08:57 AM
Regret's the one thing that I don't want to feel when I do things and I try my best to be smart on choosing what I want to do so I'm rarely ever regretting the stuff that I've done in my life and suffice to say, I don't think I'll ever regret gambling or knowing about it, I had fun with gambling and the only thing that I've lost in all that activity is my money and money can always be earned so I really don't care too much on what happens to that money and the happy thing about gambling is that I didn't get addicted and I found friends that otherwise wouldn't be known to me if I didn't gamble so yeah, no regrets is probably the best thing to be when you want to live your life to the fullest.
1254  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: December 09, 2023, 06:20:12 AM

and also with their sincerity then success will come to this project and also for others that will be Open minded that gambling is not just as simple as they think and Gamblers should not be blamed completely because no one wanted to be addicted and the obligation here is to help them out and theres no need of blaming as this is really a serious problem as the world facing addiction problem.a friend of mine also faced this problem but lucky that he is now sober and yeah a gambling free human.
That too, sincere help is better than a forced one because you know that the person cares about you. Open mindedness is a mindset that needs to be learned early on in life because being open minded is difficult when you're an adult with an established belief. The victim blaming part is a difficult one because when you listen to the argument of these people that do this, they always sound so logical and reasonable but the problem is that victim blaming invalidates their horrific experience into a lesson that will soon be forgotten after listening to it, I hope that more and more people learn not to do that kind of thing against people that are a victim of addiction and many other horrifying experiences out there. Good for your friend to be able to stop gambling and live a life free of that vice.
1255  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: December 09, 2023, 05:26:31 AM
That's a different matter, tbh. Changing the terms of use of a service is a normal thing and it happens all the time. However, it would be considered cheating or a kind of manipulation if it's done without notifying the customers nad if it has a retroactive effect which leads to depriving a customer from one or more of his rights. This is unethical and completely unacceptable.
But when it comes to kyc, what i would consider an abuse or cheating is not when yu ask the customer to verify his identity nut when you keep rejecting his documents without a valid reason or ask him to submit documents you know he can't get or any thing like that.
Shouldn't it be the casino's responsibility to inform their players that there's a changing in the terms and conditions? That's downward unethical to just do that unless they've stated that they can change without a notice but then, that's still an unethical thing to do because you're basically cheating your customers and breaking their trust. For me, I really like when they're just upfront when it comes to KYC, there's nothing wrong with that so why hide that and do a weird turnaround when they're withdrawing? And then some of these casinos are even crazier because when you finally comply with that underhanded KYC, they would subject you to the waiting game.
1256  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to self exclude from anonymous gambling sites on: December 09, 2023, 04:46:27 AM
This is a great option for gamblers interested in self-exclusion op. Problem here is that most crypto gamblers don't really know much about staking which is why they might avoid this particular solution.

All these solutions are unnecessary if the gamblers themselves had decent self-control, but that is usually not the case thanks to greed, selfishness etc.
I guess it's that time for them to learn something new then, sure it's unnecessary if they have a decent self-control but the point is that at the very least they've got an option on how they should do things and you can't really say it's a great option and then the next thing you say that it's unnecessary, that's contradictory.
1257  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of Clipboard Virus! on: December 09, 2023, 04:12:37 AM

if it applies to mobile phones it will be very easy when newly installed applications will of course require approval for some access on the smartphone.
applications downloaded from official sites may have very little risk. but on a PC or other device, we often download and install applications provided by other developers.
There are some stuff that can easily bypass through a phone's security and even on the app store that are supposedly safe for you to download on stuff, you can see some apps that can bypass through that are Trojan. You also can never be sure of official sites because there are scammers that imitates the official website and pays top dollar to get on top of the search engine results which buries the official site on 3rd or 4th place in the results. The best thing to do is to double or triple check so you are sure that something isn't fishy.
~
If a virus has been detected, reinstalling your device is the most appropriate choice to clean everything. As OP experienced, it's possible that the antivirus really didn't detect the virus until we realized when it was connected to a crypto wallet. and the situation is just waiting for us to be careless.
Nope, reformat is the best thing to do if there's a potential that you've downloaded a virus together with an app, that's the only way to remove the virus and be sure that reuse of the computer is clean slate. Virus don't go away just because you've deleted the file that it came with because some of them install themselves somewhere that's different from the destination of the file that they've been with.
1258  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of Clipboard Virus! on: December 09, 2023, 02:44:29 AM
That could be the answer since, I recently got this device. So a lot of software had to be reinstalled. But that's not what I'm worrying about. I worry about windows defender not detecting it. And it's not that I got infected and the very moment I noticed it. I think I was infected for more then 10 days. There was no way of knowing, until I tried to make a transaction and made this discovery. That's what I don't like about it. This sly virus, not showing up anywhere until someone tried something related to crypto.
Have you checked on any of your recent programs that you've downloaded? There's a possibility that the reason why the Windows Defender didn't detect this is probably because it's a Trojan and an advance one at that as Windows Defender is already a good antivirus program so you can probably check on the previous downloads that you've done. Is this virus only a thing for computers? Or is it on mobile too? It's a scary thing for me because I'm not really checking too much on which address I would send my bitcoin so I'm a likely victim to this, good thing I don't do a lot of transactions.

1260  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: December 08, 2023, 09:05:05 AM
Sure if you have long term investment ideas, then you would likely not be selling any of your bitcoin now, but I doubt that the reason would merely be because you expect profits to be guaranteed in the future, but instead that you had made your investment into bitcoin based on a long term investment thesis and you are not merely thinking about short term profits.
That's a decent thesis to follow, a lot of people have regretted not getting into bitcoin and they're not really that into missing out again if they can help it, plus it's the easiest thesis to follow when it comes to bitcoin investing, all you need is patience to wait for your bitcoin price to come and then buy again when the price starts going down and setting another goal.
On the other hand, if you come into bitcoin and you do not have solid ideas for what might be your investment thesis, and you might not even know why you like bitcoin except for thinking that it could make you some money, then you likely would be more inclined to sell at various points along the way, and you might not really realize that you could sell in increments, but instead you think about either being in or out, and so it could look very attractive to get 40% to 60% profits in less than a couple of months.
Totally agree, not knowing where you stand in something will ultimately be your downfall and in the case of bitcoin investment, neutral or indecisive stance will lead to losses and discouragement from investing in something ever again. If you don't like complications, just follow the first investing thesis since you don't have to work too much in terms of analysis there but do what works best for you.
