3. Joke question: Don't you think that the capital of the country of the "bargaining chip" begins with the letter "M" ? Smiley
I have no idea on this, what's M then?

M for Manure!

there was nothing achieved in their meeting by the way. just because they were shaking hands in the photos, doesn't mean something is solved. the situation doesn't change. Xi doesn't even want to see Blinken.  truth is that China wants the US to honor the one-China policy and Taiwan is part of China. as long as this is not honored, nothing is achieved in this meeting.
1363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you find it offensive to be referred to as an addicted gambler? on: June 18, 2023, 06:32:10 PM

if you say " no offense" afterwards, i will not be offended  Grin
just an ego. people will be mad and offended if you are referred to as a gambling addict in front of their child or to someone they care so much to represent themselves as highly respected.

hey there are users not happy anymore of these gambling addiction threads. keep it coming!!!
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: June 18, 2023, 06:24:43 PM

For me, there is a fight and a chance for Yoel Romero to get the Light Heavyweight belt for Bellator and be the oldest 46 years old champion,
This looks like a great Bellator event, maybe one of the best they had in months.
It is always interesting to watch Yoel Romero fight, despite his old age he looks to be in amazing shape for 46 years old fighter.
I am giving advantage to Nemkov and I think he is going to win, but it could be a good idea to put few satoshis on big underdog like Romero.

Co-main event Sergio Pettis vs Patricio Pitbull is worth watching and even prelim fights should not be missed.
Pettis is doing great since he came to Bellator but my bet is on favorite Pitbull.

It was a great fight and I totally missed making my prediction and picks for the event, it was shocking Yoel Romero despite his unusual body being 46 years old never seems like a 46 years old fighter, and right now I really believe the doctor that has said his unusual body structure, but his level of fighting is still the same as Israel Adesanya he never really care to upgrade and learn from his past fights, this is really hard for Yoel Romero he seems not listening to his corner that is why I never see him winning a technical fighter that has studied his opponent, he just clash with Nemkov even though he won't stand a chance against him, for me he should have gone with the takedown on the start of the fight, I was totally confused in what he is doing and the new thing he did with the fight is just lay Possum,

While Sergio Pettis likely gave Patricio Pitbull a hard time Pitbull thinks he has won the fight and Pettis thought that he lost it, for me he got a good fighting game, and I thought I missed an opportunity that I didn't make my bet,

I'm not really familiar with most of the match ups except for the main event, the co main and the Anderson vs Davis match up.  I think if Yoel Romero shows up like he was when he fought Robert Whittaker, he could make the fight really close.  Nemkov's TD defense improved as shown in the second fight vs Corey Anderson but Romero's wrestling is on another level.  He could be a problem imho.  Let's see if his cardio holds up tho.  Like you said, he's already 46.

I should've bet my Sportsbet free bet on Romero instead of Rodriguez.  Grin

Well all I needed in this event was the Main and the Co-main only and I totally missed the event I thought it was the same date and time as the UFC Fight Night Cannonier VS Vettori, well that two fights really entertaining fight to watch, and on rund 5 Yoel Romero has easily pulled a takedown against Nemkov feet that he can easily do because of his Athleticism but he should have done that in the start of the fight Yoel Romero might have won this fight and ditch the Drunken Possum Technique that is not effective against Vadim Nemkov,

the mutant lost. i think make would expect him to lose as well due to his age. but there is no retirement announcement. not very fan of bellators so whoever he may fight next, he'd better hope he's older than him

it's different when it's cannonier, he just slam vettori to the ground. there were rumors already of him to be given a title shot against Izzy. seem very early but a rematch with Strickland might be possible before the title shot.

1365  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto Earn Platform Haru Invest Freezes Withdrawals on: June 15, 2023, 06:07:01 PM

if there is no news about this platform in the next months, then the investors who lost money understood it's all gone. 25% annually is big, any business that is doing clean with such APY will shutdown. those who stake will be lucky to have gotten back their original deposits.

they have KYCed all the users in Haru, they know the details of everyone. if no one there poses a threat to Haru staff, they'd pull the rug.

1367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't gamble if you don't have patience on: June 14, 2023, 05:13:43 PM

trading was the only that needs patience back then but now gambling as well?
isn't the reason why gambler's gamble is because they don't have patience and they wanted quick bucks?  just kidding. its the impression i have since time. and i gamble because i lose the money that my mother gave. to make an easy profit, playing cards is an option.

OP's example though is not about patience in playing a casino game. its him losing because he couldn't wait.
1368  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Majority of investors are quitting, what are you doing? on: June 13, 2023, 08:25:16 PM

SEC despite the demand to provide clear rules for a token to be security, use the Howey test that isn't applicable to new assets like crypto.

making crypto an uninteresting subject is what exactly Gensler wants because by then only a few people will be on crypto and it will be timely to launch the CBDC as planned. more people will rely on the CBDC than the crypto. quitting crypto though will not be good for the investors because, on the other side of the planet, it's where crypto will blossom.
1369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: June 13, 2023, 08:13:17 PM
~snip~
Even I thought that Ron DeSantis had a good chance of winning the GOP nomination in 2024. But he floundered his chances. He couldn't garner courage to attack Trump, and then he delayed announcing his candidature for too long. And when finally he announced his candidacy, it got botched up due to some technical issues in Twitter. Also, momentum swung in favor of Trump due to the ongoing criminal proceedings. DeSantis's candidacy was dead even before it was launched. Unless there is going to be some miracle in the next few months, I would advise him to drop out of the race.

I've seen quite a few photos of DeSantis flags next to literal nazi flags, I'm not sure why they're becoming so popular in the US, but if anything, it's not a sign of a peaceful time to come next year.

isn't Trump still GOP so the reason why DeSantis not attacking Trump as he is also Republican right?

in the latest CBS poll, Trump has 61% while Desantis got 23%. the indictment of Trump isn't dragging his rating down for the people know its all political. seem like they can't fool the public anymore with all these diversions. the more they do it. the more Trump will prevail.

1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stop gambling (sports betting, casino e.t.c)? on: June 12, 2023, 09:54:01 PM

or you could try the unusual way of stopping gambling. yu know when they say go big or go home, try going all in and bet all the amount you could come up in one bet.

you could win hundred thousand ls thru it if you win and if you lose it all, you can then stop gambling. you won't have anything to bet after that.

That's how casino counter the martingale strategy. Most of the bankroll won't keep up if they experience 20x losing streak. You need to have a ridiculous amount of capital to keep up with a very small base bet if you experience that kind of losing streak. This is why I don't do martingale only strategy on a casino since I've lost so much money just by doing it. It's an effective strategy but the risk of it will certainly drain all your bank rolls. I suggest to just use different strategies when you are doing a gambling session or mix some strategies.

This is the reality. Martingale method is only effective on short term bets since its good for recovery. Player should set a stop loss are loss limit when using this kind of strategy to avoid being rekt in long term. I’m using martingale on blackjack but instead of increasing my bet on single sit, I just add another sit to have 2 hands that equivalent to martingale x2 bet. This way I still increase my bet while having 2 chances at the same time.

Using this strategy on dice is very risky because dice result is pure random and long lose streak can happened anytime if the player is bad luck.

If anyone wants to use the Martingale strategy, he should make up his mind before the game, that he will quit after how many unsuccessful bets.
People lose a lot in Martingale because they do not set a limit as to when they will stop in case of consecutive losses and thus lose their whole balance portfolio in the gambling site.

Most people use Martingale strategy on dice games and i guess Martingale strategy is best designed to play on dice but only if we play it with proper risk management.

its hard to stop you when you are hopeful to win back the lose. its the reason why you double down. if you have been using martingale from time to time. you may not be able to remember how many times you fell for it.

its always what happens. the more you lose the more you double down as well until you have nothing left in your account. there could be time when you want to stop because you are wining and that i believe you may have done so. but after a day or two you still come back.

1372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Casinos Include The Sport Spogomi In Their Platform on: June 11, 2023, 11:08:14 AM

amazing how this become a sport to be watched by a lot of people.  i don't know if i would be serious to actually see this as sport.
if you are impressed to the videos of the guys operating an excavator to open a beer cap, you would be impressed also if SPOGOMI player display some tricks in operating trash truck, it would be a showcase of skills. but this sports only uses hands right?
1373  Other / Off-topic / Re: Linux question on: June 08, 2023, 05:34:50 AM

ubuntu is the easiest as you won't even need the CLI to operate the system. there Synaptic manager to use for installing and removing apps.  just pick the newest LTS version because its usually the ones that last for years with repositories support.
1374  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cz or the Sec who would you support? on: June 08, 2023, 05:28:23 AM

i wouldnt expect someone from BTC forum will support SEC,  you see even robinhood steps in already to be on th side of coinbase and binance because they know Gensler is a mad man.

after this madness i think the crypto will really be free from chain of SEC. and maybe CFTC will come supporting crypto.
1375  Economy / Gambling discussion / would you play more on casino when your country plans to ban BTC? on: June 06, 2023, 08:49:35 PM
while your country plans to ban crypto trading but online gambling legal, you'll gonna to decide what to do with coins.  would you go play your coins to accumulate or just withdraw and wait for the government to change stance?  no other option.
1376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should cryptocurrency be banned in a country with a population of 240 million? on: June 06, 2023, 08:36:21 PM
not a wise decision by government. they are not seeing that majority of countries are not even banning crypto. the launch of their CBDC  is still on 2025, thats very far yet for the reason to ban crypto. they are not considering the people trading where theres $20B worth of volume last 2021.

the country however had been lobbying to be removed from the greylist since investors are moving away from countries on this list. banning crypto must be one of the condition for them to be removed on the list which after this pakistan will have access to global funding. their fate lies to this decision.
1377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Deciding to save money in Bitcoins for the future of the child on: June 06, 2023, 08:06:30 PM
dads gotta provide for his family thats one responsibility you got. you are absolutely right in seeing Bitcoin as your savior when it comes to finance problem. we're all banking to BTC as well to beat the inflation.

all currencies today are affected by global economic crisis. if you left your money in fiat, it will lose value especially when your local currency is not USD.

1379  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 5 Advantages of Bitcoin Casinos vs. Traditional Casinos on: June 06, 2023, 02:48:01 AM
-snip-
But the amount of work it would take to steal your Bitcoin casino deposit is as close to impossible as it gets.

Distinguish between deposits and bets, certain games that pick random winners using a hash seed might be fairer, but there is no such method for deposits. Deposits are applied only at centralized casinos and it is 100% possible to embezzle players' money.

definitely believed that.

traditional casinos is a place where you can physically enjoy. and definitely safer. but we're used to Bitcoin casino already  after a long time playing in crypto.   more variety of games entice players as it tickles the curiousity but it doesn't guarantee more wins.
1380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ID Security Requirements and Security Methods.🔗 on: June 05, 2023, 05:58:16 AM
2. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA): Set up 2FA for your
Bitcoin exchange accounts and any other platforms that
involve your Bitcoin ID. This adds an extra layer of security by
requiring a second form of verification, usually through a
mobile app or SMS code, to access your account.

when using a mobile device with a sms 2FA, the exchange then has your phone number. which if requested by authorities they can then ping that number and see all of the locations it was spotted on the cellular network.
if you are seen each night to ping at a certain address they can learn that you live(sleep) there and so found out where you live

2FA and use of exchanges is the easiest way to get found especially if you use a mobile device

for those extra paranoid. never use phone in the same location and never have it turned on for more then the time to make a payment. and use a phone where you can remove the battery and simcard

(or dont use this security risk method the OP calls a security feature)

it is mandatory these days to submit your phone number to exchanges to continue using them especially binance. there is no escaping from authorities even if you have those fresh wallet all the time.  in your suggestion, going places all the time just to login will be hard to do.

after the hardware issue recently where they tried sharing keys to 3rd party. its hard to trust.
