1441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether: USDT is the next token to crash / Tether fraud exposed on: December 11, 2022, 05:44:39 AM
The Tether scam is nothing new. It is a known scam I believe since 2017-2018. The thing is somehow they keep it going because most of the crypto trading volume is happening on tether and if tether goes down, crypto will go down with it. If crypto goes down, almost ever crypto exchange will go down with it and this will affect anyone who holds crypto.

Tether may go down tomorrow or 2 years later from now but it will go down when no big whales are in the game. Obviously it is the retail small investors that will bite the bullet like it always happens.

Now the big question is, is it against the forum rules if you post AI's response as your own. It is not ethical but who is going to prove that is a plagiarized text since the AI can produce perfectly unique articles?

Even if we introduce such a rule on the forum, who will check whether the text belongs to a person or an AI? Where to find that line between text written by a human and text written by a machine? If you know such an algorithm, please share it. I, for one, have no idea how to do it. And also, can you imagine how many topics will be created in Meta about the complaints against the moderators, that they deleted someone's post, because they thought that this post was written by an AI Smiley

One can raise its intellectual capacity so much via using AI, he may even get a chance to be included in chipmixer's sig camp lol.

Imagine a retard who can't even speak English properly posting like a Crypto Professor.

He can even use AI while talking to forum people lol. That's fucked up.

I think we will see so many experts posting soon.  Grin Imagine everybody is posting like nullius in every one of his/her posts. Wohoo
1443  Other / Meta / Re: bitcointalk forum vs OpenAI - ChatGPT on: December 10, 2022, 03:28:46 PM

Yes maybe, but not today Smiley

[img]https://i.imgur.com/DmfnX68.png[/img

You just need to ask politely "citation please"

or ask just "write a post about bitcoin technology but please don't plagiarize the text"

Now the big question is, is it against the forum rules if you post AI's response as your own. It is not ethical but who is going to prove that is a plagiarized text since the AI can produce perfectly unique articles?

That's shitposters' dream became true.

All they need to do is typing the title of the topic and copy/paste the AI's reply.

ez pz lemon squeezy
1444  Economy / Speculation / Re: How we know btc not going to 100$ ?? on: December 10, 2022, 12:44:17 PM
What guarantees we have btc not going very low like 100$ ??
Can btc go Even like 50$
Becouse everybody knows that Market Will crash hard soon very bearish out look now for btc
If today btc start falling what price is good to buy ?
It can fall to 1000$ or lower why not ? What's stop btc to fall down like 20$-50$ ?

You don't.

That's why people with common sense warning you that you shouldn't invest more than you could afford to lose. That amount may vary from person to person. For some people $1k is nothing but a spare change. For other people it is what they live on for one month.

Bitcoin very well may disappear even though the hardcore bitcoiners disagree with this idea. You should always be prepared for the worst outcome.

What if bitcoin goes to $50 tomorrow, is that going to be a problem for you? If your answer is "yes" then you are in a big trouble.
1445  Economy / Services / Re: Urgent need for writers on: December 10, 2022, 07:58:17 AM
Writing articles is a dead job. You can now use AI for that kind of thing and right now you can do it for free.

Use chatGPT for your stupid blog posts, it is chatGPT which you can find on https://chat.openai.com/

You just tell the dude what kind of article you want, give him the specifics like the length or/and the topic etc of the article and he will create you an article that’s probably going to be better than what you will get with money.
1446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com Ghostnipple: Identity Theft and IP Theft on: December 10, 2022, 07:52:41 AM
Before you come here to do such accusations you should gather some proof. Pointing the finger without any proof whatsoever is just playing dirty.

I think you mean "evidence".

I do have documented evidence.

However I see no reason to post it here, as I am not trying to convince anyone of anything.

Believe what you want it is of no consequence to me.

If you are not trying to convince us, why did you even create this thread? If you have evidence post it here (creating a separate scam accusation thread would be better) and create a flag on stake’s account. If the default trust users think you are right, then they will support your flag and stake.com will be in trouble here.

If you are not going to walk the talk, then wtf are you doing here?
1447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin is Islamic" -by Economist Bruce Fenton on: December 09, 2022, 06:21:35 AM
I have asked this question to chatGPT and he told me:

Quote
It is not for me to say whether or not Bitcoin is Islamic. Different scholars may have different opinions on the matter. In general, though, Islamic financial law has certain principles and guidelines that must be followed, such as the prohibition of riba (usury or interest). It is up to individual Muslims and Islamic scholars to determine whether or not Bitcoin is compliant with these principles and guidelines.

I guess like this big artificial brains over here said, only muslims can decide if bitcoin is islamic.

If the majority of the muslims say, bitcoin is islamic, then bitcoin would become islamic.

Right now I don't think that's the case but in the future, who knows?
1448  Economy / Economics / Re: SBF-Denies Improper use of Customer Funds in a 1 on 1 Interview on: December 09, 2022, 06:18:26 AM
I stopped watching or listening to any of his interviews. He basically doesn’t say anything concrete. Keeps apologizing saying he didn’t know. Doing what he can to make everyone whole.

Saying stuff like 8 minutes after signing chapter 11 he raised like $5B but can’t say who those investors were. It’s getting to the point where he is just saying lies after lies and why even watch any of his interviews.

He said he didn't know what happened! Just leave him fucking alone. Sad

Apparently nobody has the balls to throw this little shit into prison so why waste time with interviewing him? He is not going to say "Yes I scammed lots of people and I don't give a fuck about it." no matter how hard you try.

He only apologizes and for what exactly? If he didn't know what happened and he is innocent, wtf is he apologizing for?

I haven't lost a single dime on this crap exchange (it is because the moment I heard about it I already knew it was a scam) but I am still mad as fuck when I see people like him.
1449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: December 09, 2022, 06:13:38 AM
If people become successful against the casinos with this tool, then it would be the end for all online casinos. People make mistakes but a perfected AI will not. When this thing gets even smarter, lots of people will lose their jobs. Junior devs, blog posters/article writers, song writers... I have seen this bot writing code based on your description and modifying it according to your requests. I mean wtf is that? It is not only copy/pasting a code from its database, it understands you and makes the modifications you want from it.

I guess we will be needed only to serve other people in restaurants, cafes etc. Even though machines can serve people food and drinks too, we still want to socialize a little bit sometimes.
1450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks do not want bitcoin to become popular on: December 08, 2022, 06:27:25 PM
I came across this news on CNBC where standard chartered bank claims that bitcoin will reach 5000$. Being a bank, this can be their wish and not a reality. Banks do not want bitcoin to become popular and therefore they spread this negative information so people panic sell and do not adopt bitcoin.  Sad

Of course they don't... Bitcoin is creating an alternative to legacy banking. If bitcoin gets adopted widely, that would mean less legacy banking adoption and that means less bankers to have in payroll. They are desperately trying to secure their jobs by attacking bitcoin with the hopes of driving people away from it. Thanks to the internet, these strategies never work because people are informing each other and seeing through their scam easily.

I still think though legacy banking and bitcoin can coexist together. Bitcoin is not perfect enough to replace legacy banking.
1451  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank of Nigeria to limit cash withdrawals on: December 07, 2022, 08:42:52 AM
Cash is the enemy of every government. That’s why they are tirelessly working to destroy its value so everyone can get out of cash and nobody hoards it. According to them, physical cash is the mother of all evil because the govs can’t even track your transactions when you use physical cash. Sooner or later they will remove physical cash from existence and force everyone to use their shitcoins. I can’t accept this. I don’t want to accept this but what choice do we got? I guess the only option is… monero.
1452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much initial startup to Start Cryptocurrency Casino? on: December 07, 2022, 08:38:29 AM
Hi guys I wanted to ask some of big family members who have experience in crypto and also in gambling. But my experience is not good in gambling.
If someone wants to start a Gambling casino online with Cryptocurrency than how much money is needed. I think that 100k dollars initial capital would be enough to satrt a better casino. Cause we have to promote and also do other such promotions.
So what are your thoughts?

If you don’t have an idea of starting a casino from scratch, even a million USD might not be enough. $100k is definitely not going to be enough for everything imo. What’s your casino’s bankroll going to be? $50k? No serious gambler will want to play there. $100k maybe enough for your education about this business but it is not enough to start a serious casino. That’s because you will have lots of hidden costs which you can’t even imagine now. There are much better, easier, safer businesses which you can invest your $100k and still can make decent returns.
1453  Economy / Economics / Re: LMAO: Lagarde says Euro CBDC seeks to 'ensure high standars of privacy'. on: December 07, 2022, 04:48:36 AM
It is not even possible… CBDC’s are all about controlling people. If you don’t comply, they will seize your money easily. Right now you can avoid this situation if you keep some physical FIAT around but they are trying hard to destroy this option.

Maybe she doesn’t mean your privacy but privacy of those who watch your transactions… You will never be able to tell who is watching. Yep, absolute privacy fo the gov agents.
1454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which Crypto would you like to see more in Online Casinos? on: December 05, 2022, 05:16:29 PM
I was on a crypto convention some years ago and met the guy behind the FUN token, he sold me this really good story on how they will revolutionize the casino industry once they launch fully. Now, god knows how many year later, I can still see them around, but instead of a "revolution" or "disruption", they are mostly just hovering around the industry.

Now, I'm aware that licensed casinos are tied to payment providers, and then they mostly use whichever currency that payment provider offers, but I personally would still love to see some exotic coins here and there. Something like WINk or Wagerr.

So, I wanted to ask the community in which coins would make the most sense to get implemented, which ones would you like to see more off?

LTC and Doge is enough I think. I don't really see much value in the other altcoins. These 2 coins however, are well known, fast and reliable. They are battle tested many times before. freebitco.in is using FUN but tbh I don't get the idea. To me it is just another shitcoin. Maybe it will become big later on, who knows... Why take the risk when you can use doge&ltc though? If you want safety, they are pretty safe. If you want cheap transactions, they are cheap af... What else a gambler would want?
1455  Economy / Economics / Re: SBF-Denies Improper use of Customer Funds in a 1 on 1 Interview on: December 04, 2022, 06:52:09 AM
He did a little fuck up there and another here but he didn’t steal from his customers and bribed the democrats nooo \s

There is only one way to deal with this kind of people. We all know it but we are afraid to say it.

A punch right in the face.

The sad thing is he is never going to get it.
1456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People who don't use hardware wallets: Why not? on: December 04, 2022, 06:47:09 AM
I don’t think hw wallets a necessity. To me, it is the exact opposite. No matter how cheap and reliable they are, I will probably never use a hw wallet. That’s because a small laptop works for me and I don’t need a hw wallet and probably never will. I use linux on my laptop, it is connected to the internet and never had any problems. 99999 times out of 100000 (i’d say 100% but sometimes shit happens) you won’t have a problem with a simple setup like this. That’s if you don’t do pirating and similar crap on your PC and use a linux distribution as your OS.

If you want to be 100% safe, create your wallet on a freshly linux installed laptop with no wifi card.
1457  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is it cool to run Bitcoin full node on Android OS? on: December 03, 2022, 01:09:16 PM
You are probably going to kill your phone faster with this setup. There is absolutely no need for that. Does it look cool? It does if you are into that kind of thing. However there is a much easier setup you can do instead of using a phone. Get a used netbook and replace its hdd with a 1tb one and you are set. Use either win or linux it is up to you. Their batteries last long too. Or you can use a raspberry pi 3 and add an external battery pack.
1458  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto raffle game idea | feedback required on: December 03, 2022, 04:52:13 AM
Hi i am thinking in developing a crypto raffle game

To make it fair i could do a live stream each week of the drawings and use a program like pickerwheel. com to pick the winner, each ticket is going to cost $1

We can donate 10% of all tickets sales to a crypto foundation of our players selection

60% of all tickets sales is going to the prize

and 30% for the operation cost, signature campaigns , affiliates , servers , ads etc

Let me know what you think Smiley

Sounds like a bad business, especially for the players. And if you can't attract the players, then it is a bad business for you too Mr. Betcrypto.cr. You business idea is crap because you are taking 100% but giving away 60%. I can see you are giving away another 10% to a crypto foundation but let's be honest, nobody wants that. If it was 1%, I'd say who cares but 10%? That's unnecessary. And 30% for the operation costs? Wheee, that is basically 30% (+10%) house edge.

People do the same thing with 1-5% house edge. Now the most important question is... Why are you so greedy?
1459  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Apple blocks Coinbase wallet release on IOS on: December 03, 2022, 04:15:48 AM
Apple and Google duopoly needs to come to an end. These companies make me sick, especially Apple because their closed OS can block any app and you won’t be able to use them apps which apple don’t like. With android at least you can install non-playstore apps freely (that’s how I remember android, they didn’t block this, did they?) or you can choose to use a modded android os…

We definitely need a third player which supports a better app store. Maybe Elon can deliver this.
1460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 02, 2022, 04:58:02 AM
So the anime people finally became serious about football. I grew up watching those cartoons and I know how much they like this game. I am more surprised to hear that Japan couldn't do any good in the world cups before. (they never won the tournament)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan_at_the_FIFA_World_Cup

Seeing their world cup history, I think  this is probably going to be the best year they'll ever have in a world cup after beating both Spain and Germany in group stage.
