1481  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Antminer U2 on: April 10, 2014, 11:21:09 PM
Try starting with only one miner installed in the laptop, let it stabilize, install the second miner and wait long enough for windows to assign the right driver. I've seen windows change COM# after it realized you have two of the same devices, not sure why, but it did this with a set of web cams I had a couple years back. Then try to "Manage" adding the second miner to the already running instance.
So what, like start CGMIner let it run for say 10 mins under 1 stick then add the other ?
1482  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Antminer U2 on: April 10, 2014, 10:44:27 PM
Either the driver did not install correctly on that miner or you have a DOA, unfortunately I have seen all to many of these new ones DOA. I have handled 8 that looked as though the component labeled 4RU was totally burnt/fried by the solder work at the factory.
Thats just it, both work fine because I can run either or as a single but when I try to use two at the same time I get the previously posted output.

I remember something similar with my BE's but I ended up getting them working somehow.
1483  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Antminer U2 on: April 10, 2014, 10:25:22 PM
I just go two U2's but I can only seem to get one running... not using a hub, direct port off the WinXP laptop like I did with my BE's these replaced.

Any help is appreciated, using CGMiner 4.2.2

Since I haven't posted this for a while and we do have some new guild mates.

Would be a lot easier if Theymos allowed images in sigs...

1486  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.893 BTC for 180GH/s on: March 27, 2014, 09:23:26 AM
Funnily enough I seemed to have raised enough of stink to finally get a damn reply from BITMAIN after a week and spamming their inbox so here's hoping that goes well, and if not I wont be considering them for any future purchases and will tell other bitcoiners outside this forum of my horrendous experience.
1487  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.893 BTC for 180GH/s on: March 27, 2014, 08:55:07 AM
All Tickets have been replied too Smiley

All Coupons still are available  Smiley

http://bitcoinhardware.co.vu/bitmain/

Sales + Technical Support

Low Custom fee option + Discount codes still available

Its been a busy few days for Support & Sales

Cheers
Does that system have anything to actually do with BITMAIN, the non existent person who seemingly helps those he deems worthy enough for a reply ? Just thought I'd ask since on the off chance he does have something to do with that system I have yet to get a reply back meaning no, not all tickets have been answered and one was sent to both support and sales.

Even if he doesn't it was worth a shot, that said, the fact I'm still out 0.988, and have no miner to show for it and the fact they now cost I think 0.893 doesn't sit too well with me nor should it. What's funny is everyone praises bitmain or great customer service and how they respond to tickets and emails in no time yet I still sit here after a week with my thumb up my ass and nothing to show for it.
1488  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.893 BTC for 180GH/s on: March 27, 2014, 05:40:56 AM
Maybe if I use the ticket system BITMAIN will get off ass and actually say somethin... here's hoping it helps. If not, we'll see if he responds after I start posting all over FB and reddit.
1489  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.893 BTC for 180GH/s on: March 26, 2014, 03:32:51 PM
So price drops again, this time to 0.893 and I'm still out 0.988 and fees on an order problem BITMAIN still has yet to answer all the while finding time to talk to everyone else ;-(

Funny thing is people talk about how good he is yet he selectively responds to stuff and sends people units that end up faulting.
1490  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Need another switch for my miners but... on: March 26, 2014, 03:57:32 AM
That's actually a nice one, D-Links usually good with their stuff and you can't go wrong for the price.

Thx...

Will probably end up getting it if no one else posts any ideas.
1491  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.903 BTC for 180GH/s on: March 26, 2014, 02:13:26 AM
Darn-it! It crash again. I think i'm going to RMA this unit. How long does it usually take to get a new unit?
Probably as long as it's taken bitmain to get back to me which he hasnt yet and I'm still out 0.988 and fees !
1492  Bitcoin / Mining support / Need another switch for my miners but... on: March 26, 2014, 01:09:51 AM
Ok, so I already ran a 150' line downstairs for the noisy stuff, well I'm adding two more items but I can't run two more cords. That said, is there such a thing as like a 3 port ethernet switch I can get ?

Also, please link suggestions, Ty.

Really don't want to have to spend a lot like I did for my 24 port switch up stairs.
1493  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.903 BTC for 180GH/s on: March 25, 2014, 04:08:30 PM
Antminer S1 currently mine at about 0.0173568996 BTC per day without overclocking.
(Current Difficulties: 5,006,860,589)
*Pool luck may increase or decrese the mining rate.
Good to know he see's every other post but those that matter !

About the Order Expiration Issue: If you have paid, you will have the miner shipped. ignore the "expire", "unconfirm" status

Blockchain.info's API is still not functioning normally. If you have paid the full amount to the payment address provided by us, you may still see the order expired, as the API now takes a few hours or a day to transfer the money to Bitmain's address, which before was assumed to happen instantly. If you have paid, please just relax, we have now some semi-automatized process to follow the payment. Please ignore the "expire", "unconfirm" status. If blockchain.info runs away with the money, the risk is all on us and you will have the shipped miner.
So does this mean my order will still be processed ? I really would love a reply back on my PM or email but just for good measure here's a copy of both again, Ty.

As before it's snaking it's way to the address but at this rate will probably take another 15-20 days if not sooner or longer, who knows.

If I could at least get a yes it will be shipped or no it wont my mind would be at some sort of ease so please let me know something soon, Ty.

Below is a copy of an email I sent last night about a problem with my order. I have a slight update to this after talking to the Blockchain people, it looks like it will get to the orders payment address like it's supposed to. It's just taking it's time and I hope the order can still be shipped to the specified address on the order page... Ty.

We are still fixing a few issues with the API. The funds are not lost. They will either get to the destination or be returned. Please wait for a bit. Sorry about the inconvenience.

I ordered one of the S1 Antminers, did a shared send from the block chain app... except it doesn't look like blockchain sent it to the address on your payment page even though it showed correctly when I scanned the QR code.

Not sure what will happen now because the site says orders are cancelled if no payment after 1hr.

1496  Economy / Digital goods / Re: BitShop - digital bitcoin shop script [PHP/MYSQL] (v0.9.9) on: March 24, 2014, 03:33:28 AM
I can't seem to find it if it exists, but does anyone know if the goxgrab uses coinbase at all, I know it's got bitstamp, btce etc but I can't seem to be able to figure out if coinbase is an option.

Ty.
It uses the bitcoincharts API to fetch market data. But they don't appear to support coinbase.
Well that sucks, how would I go about requesting Coinbase be included ?

Bitmain has been consistent, in good ways. I bought a few antminers since Dec'2013 and they have been nothing but amazing. From my ordering to receiving it in southern Calif, 4 freaking days. I don't know of any other company doing it. Lets just wait and give them some room to work, ok?
Well, nothing yet... ;-/

its like ~5am in china. Theyve been at home for the last 38hrs celebrating whats called a 'weekend' and not doing business-related stuff.

give them at least 12 hours to go to work, check emails, ship things, THEN mark your order status correctly
Except I sent my emails and PM's before this 'weekend'.

1500  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory - Discussion Thread on: March 23, 2014, 01:58:28 PM
Are there any plans to add support for Litecoins to Armory?

Unfortunately, that's not something that I can really support with my current set of critical priorities.  But, Litecoin is at least close enough to Bitcoin, that you might only have to change a few constants, and maybe re-write a few functions to make it work.  Bitcoin-Qt (Litecoin-Qt?) is still doing the majority of the work, so Armory probably doesn't need to change too much except to point to the right port.

If someone tries it out, they're welcome to ask questions when they hit snags, but I can't see myself supporting an official version in the near future (it's enough trouble to do regular Bitcoin releases).

Been a year since this was noted, any changes to this plan or anyone have any success that can be vetted by etotheipi ?
