Dude, wait for the nxt file to sync before opening the client. Dude, STFU because you are not helping. I'm with NXT from the day 1 so I know what is normal and abnormal operation. I've just redownloaded complete blockchain 2nd time in few hours, everything looked correct for a while but then NXT just went crazy with orphans (check the orphan value on screenshoot) and corrupted my .nxt files beyond repair. Do you update to the client 0.5.1 yet ? it is supposed a bug fix release. I am running it fine now. |

Maybe we could create an asset organisation in some exotic liberal country? Would you pay me for living in Seychelles or in Panama?  If one were truly committed to creating a NXT/Fiat gateway... the best way to go would be through a Belize International Business Company (IBC) that is owned by a Belize Trust. Here is how you do it: a. You create the Belize Trust (Trustees, Beneficiaries, etc.) b. The Trust incorporates the IBC; thus the Trust is the owner of the IBC and not the beneficiaries of the Trust. c. IBC creates a business presence online (website, NXT Asset Exchange gateway, etc.) d. All bank, merchant, exchange, etc. accounts are opened by the IBC. e. Belize bank account is in $. f. The physical address associated with all accounts is the corporate address of the IBC. g) There is NO TAX for income earned from IBCs outside Belize.You are looking at $1500-2000 to set this up and around $1000 yearly expenses to renew the Belize contracts. And YES... it is all COMPLETELY LEGAL!!!  Interesting. Another way to fight the red-tape. Aside the credibility issue, this Belize Trust is a centralized entity so basically we go through a centralized party to be able to implement a decentralized exchange idea. Talk about irony  |

I'm really amazed of the white paper. Haven't started it yet but it looks like alot of work has been put into this. Will read it tonight. You should post on the main page, this will get attention to the thread. 10x times better then the white paper visacoin released not so long ago, that was just impossible to read  Visacoin's paper? What's joke, it is more like "blah, blah, blah". If he did not post that "white paper", the investors can at least have some hope. |

We have been waiting to see the Exchange functionality. We are ready with the legal stuff for opening a gateway in Bulgaria and working on legality for Ireland. Not posting cause we want a reward just as to express out interest. Obviously will not say no to an eventual reward BaiMangal, this would be great. I do expect some of the first implementations not coming from U.S. There are just so much red tape going on here. |

Rewards to 3 best implementations of the gateways or of the 3 best ideas for the trust issue? Implementations. Let Ripple act as Gateway for Fiat....we use them as middle man. There is nothing stopping them from buying an Asset Tag. This is actually a good idea but we would need ripple and zapper to scale much faster. |

There would be a lot of legality involved. In U.S, if you do that, you are considered a money transmitter. I don't know about other countries, but if you are not resgisted here, you risk some jail-time. So my advice is to consult with a proper lawyer before doing such a service. Want to add that: if fiat money is involved then you can't hide the paper trace ever. |

P.S. My guess is that a lot of the 250 million(!) darkNXT is founder or large early adopter NXT put into "savings" accts, without realizing (or caring) about the "weak" 64 bit security
You forget about probability of huge transfer made accidentally by stakeholder to wrong account number because of NXT Client freeze, like many other users who had such issue before but with less amounts. We would have heard about it by now if someone did lose millions of $ due to the client freeze. Besides, what mechanism can a freeze make a right account number become a wrong one ? Unfortunately, this has not been reliably replicated, so all we have are some anecdotal evidences. |

You need to show more technical details. Nothing you wrote so far that I cannot write myself. Any follower of the NXT thread and NXT system could write this IPO and you even accept NXT so I suspect you are one of early NXT adopter.
Show a part of node code or network code. No one can take advantage of 30 line of codes out of context. Remember Vero, Shares and Visas ?

I highly doubt these guys as they claim all features have been working in the testnet. This is like 99 percent proof that he doesn't know what he is boasting about. I suppose all of you guys can do some drilling on technical side and they will fail miserably.
It will definitely be a scam when they refuse escrow tomorrow.
