One thing that hasn't been mentioned is the use of crypto opens up a whole new market of people who would be willing to pay for pornography but fear using online or don't own a credit card. This alone gives it alot of value.

Dev - put the premine on the front page or this coin is going nowhere, just like LOL and it's hidden IPO.
Is this premine going to personally inhibit you from making money? No. So what is the issue other than you are upset the creators will be making money, which is the whole point of capitalism! I mean how dare VISA make money off plastic cards that allow you to buy things, amirite? |

Addressed where? it should be disclosed on the front page, period, end of discussion. This premine is fucking massive, it's 3/4 of the freaking existing coins!
I understand he needs capital to get the coin out there, what I don't understand is not disclosing this info to potential investors.
Am I wrong in just not caring? I mean I can understand a shadowy dev creating a pump and dump scheme to run off with the cash which is where premines are a concern, but this is a currency created for and embraced by the porn industry. These companies are in the business to build lasting ventures and creating a "coin of the week" is not their concern, they want to build a profitable payment gateway that is easy for both them and customers. There isn't going to be "another" xxx coin, this is the one they chose so no matter what they will push it hard to be a profitable venture for them. Also it is 3/4th of the coin NOW but by the time it will be mined out it will be less than 10% which is already distributed among the various adult companies and individuals, and no doubt most will be sold off cheap to the first customers who use Wankcoin. Very few complain about one guy, Satoshi having a million bitcoins so I see nothing wrong with 1.6 million coins being distributed among several adult industry insiders. Like I said in an earlier thread, just think of it like buying stock in a company, all stocks are initially owned and created by the company itself and sold off to investors but no one complains the stock makes the company money along with outside investors. |

Premine is addressed. Let's not forget a $9.5M website (porn.com) is accepting the currency along with over 200 others.
In theory the market cap should be at least $9.5 million then, not counting all the other sites. |

RE: the pre-mine
There's been a lot of attention on the fact that Wankcoin was pre-mined. Before we released to the general public, we opened up Wankcoin mining to those in the adult industry to gain acceptance for our coin. It seemed a small price to pay for the chance of having Wankcoin accepted for real transactions. Some may not like that it was pre-mined, but it was simply the cost of gaining acceptance.
I appreciate the honesty. Some may not like it, but the business world isn't utopian, they want to make money and we want to make money, I think it's a fair trade-off for wide acceptance and adoption. |

I think you mean 400k coins out there not counting the premine so yeah it's really rare. Also most likely the premine is NOT owned by the dev but shared among various porn industry workers, either way they are getting your WANK in the end anyway since it's essentially a porn token, if it means buying them off to get massive support, it doesn't bother me. This is a business first and foremost, it's not a Satoshi-style currency meant to challenge the world monetary system (and even Bitcoin is not truly fairly distributed btw). Also i'll add, WANK is FAST, it transferred and confirmed from my allcoin to bittrex in less than 3-5 minutes. It is much more useful as a day-to-day currency for the adult industry than Bitcoin IMO. |
