1741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you bothered about what happens to your Bitcoin when you are no more? on: July 18, 2022, 06:11:16 PM
My wife knows how to access my bitcoin & I will teach my son when he is old enough. I know what I’m doing & will not trust anybody else to custody anything for me. I do not like multisig myself.
1742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roller coasters!!! on: July 18, 2022, 05:14:30 PM
Rollercoasters can be fun but in this case, it’s best to not panic & just continue to steadily DCA with what you can regularly afford. Bear markets are the times that you lay the roots to make life changing money.
1743  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto lender Celsius files for bankruptcy in New York on: July 14, 2022, 06:13:44 PM
Another bear market & another chain of seemingly well run crypto companies gets liquidated. That's the problem with these centralised shitcoin casinos, they can’t be trusted. Starting all the way back with Gox & it’s still happening now. Get your money off these type of platforms of you will get rugged.
1744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not use Tether instead of Bitcoin ? on: July 14, 2022, 05:24:01 PM
Why do people not promote Tether instead of Bitcoin?

Is it because there is no money to be made in Tether?

Isn't the whole idea of Bitcoin to have a decentralized network that is useful and fair?  Isn't that Tether?

1:1 seems fairer than 1:20,000 ...

See bolded - that’s exactly why people prefer bitcoin to USDT as an investment vehicle. USD is losing purchasing value every year, inflation destroys lives & USDT is pegged to USD. Bitcoin is the lifebelt to save people from financial ruin. USDT is fine to transact immediately but for long term HODLING it is useless.
1745  Other / Off-topic / Re: Twitter is forcing Elon for acquisition on: July 14, 2022, 05:19:29 PM
Elon is always several steps ahead of everybody is. He plays chess, 4D chess. Don’t worry about Elon Musk, I have no doubts that he will come out on top in this debacle.
1746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was the coupling of Bitcoin to fiat a mistake? on: July 14, 2022, 04:29:06 PM
The fiat system is failing but bitcoin was always going to get paired/coupled with fiat. It’s how we’ve bought things & lived off for a long time now. It’s natural that it happened but obviously 1BTC = 1BTC and that won’t change. Let’s just be happy that we’re here & we found a way out of their inflationary slavery.
1747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you guys invest meme coins now? on: July 14, 2022, 01:43:56 PM
I’d sling a couple of grand in to a meme coin for sure. The thing is, the ones that exist currently might not be the best investment for the next bull cycle. They might have been exhausted of profit if you know what I mean. Definitely it’s a good idea to keep an eye out for whatever meme coins appear early in the next bull cycle though.
1748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current Financial Market Condition on: July 14, 2022, 01:42:40 PM
Fiat currency & the world financial market is in real trouble. We will see many people thrown into poverty over the next year.

Protect yourself & buy bitcoin, it’s the emergency exit.
1749  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin’s unrelenting selloff puts prices on verge of $20k as market shows on: July 14, 2022, 01:05:43 PM
Anything under $20,000 is a gift, as long as you don’t have a short time preference in your investing then bitcoin is the best investment there is. Nothing else matches bitcoin, keep buying & stop worrying about short term price movements.
1750  Other / Off-topic / Re: World is in mess and only way to stop all this mess is this on: July 14, 2022, 12:32:57 PM
The only way this mess will be fixed is when fiat currency finally dies & the world is run on a bitcoin standard. That probably won’t be in our lifetime though. We can live in hope, every day is closer to the fiat ponzi scheme finally collapsing.
1751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another hack. $1.4 million worth of ETH drained from Omni. on: July 13, 2022, 09:57:04 AM
It’s nothing we haven’t seen before. People have been stealing money from organisations for centuries. A vulnerability was found & the funds were drained, this isn’t a reason for some mainstream news FUD though. The fiat banking system has had worse things than this for years.

1753  Other / Off-topic / Re: Manny Paquiao vs Korean Youtuber on: July 12, 2022, 03:06:41 PM
I hate these type of bouts, it’s just about money, not the sport. Same with Floyd vs Connor & every Paul brother fight. These type of ‘fights’ are not boxing, they are theatre.
1754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "BSV and Monero are the way, and Craig Wright is Satoshi" on: July 08, 2022, 08:12:45 PM
BSV is a massive, failed shitcoin with no future. Monero is a great concept but it can’t take off because big exchanges aren’t allowed to list it due to pressure from governments. It can’t grow because it won’t be allowed to.
Craig Wright is a compulsive liar, he’ll probably end up broke & kill himself.

My god, I can't stop laughing especially the part of kill himself since you are the Death Angel  Cheesy Cheesy. but you have said is true about monero back a couple of years ago monero is the best privacy coin I mean it still best to date until crypto gets regulated KYC/AML becomes necessary to some exchanges and major exchanges keep delisting it  Cry Cry

and about craig wright I think is another person who wants to be famous if he real satoshi I don't know how many government agents will showed to him.

last BSV nahhh I don't know what really purpose of this coin  Undecided with DeFi and seamless chain available all over the place

Yeah it’s sad about XMR, I had high hopes for it. I’m actually still holding a bag, I don’t think it’ll ever see another ath. It’s been killed by first world governments pressure on exchanges for kyc etc which totally destroys the whole point of it.

Screw first world govs & of course screw BSV.

1756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about altcoin market on: July 08, 2022, 08:07:33 PM
The altcoin market follows bitcoin, we should all be aware of that. When bitcoin pumps alts pump. The whole 4 year cycle is run by what happens with bitcoin.

I don’t think the bitcoin bottom is in yet so no, alts haven’t bottomed just yet.
1757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Less Worry: Celcius paid off its $114 million Bitcoin-backed loan in 24 hours. on: July 08, 2022, 06:07:50 PM
Things like this make you wonder if this was all planned from the beginning. Maybe I’m being cynical but cause a capitulation event, crash the price, buy the bottom & laugh at all the normies.
1758  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Unexpected Death? on: July 08, 2022, 05:17:41 PM
i think this post would have been best suitable to politics and society or economics board than bitcoin discussion.

First I heard of this news & I do agree that perhaps the thread should be moved to a more suitable thread. Regardless though, very sad news & I hope his family will be OK. This kind of news is not good & I hope the perpetrator is caught & hit with the full force of the law.
1759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ignore the dip and Invest in Bitcoin for long term on: July 08, 2022, 04:24:39 PM
Nobody who held bitcoin for over 5 years ever lost money on bitcoin. You shouldn’t invest money & expect to be really high in profit short term. Bitcoin works in 4 year cycles, even better if you can buy & not worry about price for 10+ years.
1760  Other / Off-topic / Re: Call of Duty on: July 07, 2022, 08:55:43 PM
I used to play it all the time with my brother when we were younger. It’s one of the most iconic games of the last 10 years. Playing online is the best against RL players. I love talking smack to people when I kill them, I used to always be a pussy & hide away using a sniper rifle. Good times.
