Boy, I wish I could post on-topic replies, but I can't go into threads that contain the topics I'm interested in. So I guess I'll continue to post doge/coye trade requests in /newbie :?

OH WELL

After four hours of active browsing you will, so I'd just wait it out, but like I said, continuing to post crap will very likely be pushing your luck. Up to you what you do.
17402  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Funneled into this whoreshit :) on: January 08, 2014, 01:21:15 PM
Thanks for that wonderful response. I'm very grateful to have fulfilled a decent, multi-sentenced conversation with you in this thread that I've created. It sends shivers down my spine knowing that my posts are full, robust and to the point. The rules made it clear that I must produce decent full length sentences, so I shall now provide that for you.

Your posts are full of sarcastic horseshit. And I'd be careful about posting off-topic crap and in the wrong forums, because depending on which mod sees it you'll either have your posts moved, removed or maybe even banned for spamming. So carry on and we'll find out soon enough.

And some people here laughed when I voiced my concerns about the black box which is even worse than this, soon you won't be able to take a dump in a service station toilet without a camera pointing at you.

Most people laughed when you told them that the USG was spying on everyone.

How about the lawyer of your future ex wife trying to get all of your last bitcoin? Very dangerous stuff.

Simple: Don't tell your wife about Bitcoin. Or simply answer the judge 'What Bitcoins?'  Grin.

Alcohol kills 10,000 times more people than Marijuana. If government can legalize Alcohol, then why not Marijuana?

Surely it's even more than that.

According to the World Health Organisation:

  • The harmful use of alcohol results in 2.5 million deaths each year.
  • 320 000 young people between the age of 15 and 29 die from alcohol-related causes, resulting in 9% of all deaths in that age group.
  • Alcohol is the world’s third largest risk factor for disease burden; it is the leading risk factor in the Western Pacific and the Americas and the second largest in Europe.
  • Alcohol is associated with many serious social and developmental issues, including violence, child neglect and abuse, and absenteeism in the workplace.

yeah, for about 2 days.

If they dumped them all very quickly I doubt it'd recover as quickly as that.

We need the support of the bitcointalk forum admins to start a legal case.
Looks like they are busy doing other things.

What do you need from them? Surely you'll have enough evidence already?
Confirm that IP addresses that links the different accounts. He is also banned on different poker sites, admins wanted to know if the accounts are linked.

Unfortunately, the admins here don't give a shit.

Victor has contacted the police department. Let's hope we have enough.

Theymos has stated that they will release IPs from "a court order or a reasonable police request" : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=38253.msg4380458#msg4380458

All I Wanted to do was post some prtscrn dumps on a premining going on in the background for the coinye west thread, but hey... Let's shove our newly registered folks in this little area and expect them to carry a decent conversation.

Name's Melkiah. What's up.

I love the draconian restrictions implemented by this simplemachines forum. Even though I haven't posted within 360 seconds (This being my first post) I am still restricted from any further activity until this time has passed. I'm assuming that logging in is part of this.

I suppose there are a few good things about this silly institutionalized system. Keeps the trolls off the board (Seriously though, what troll is going to bother hitting this place). In any case, I find being shoved into some "newbie" section an utter slap to the face. Most of us didn't just pop here to say hello. Most of us have experience on message boards and are familiar with the formalities expected in this place.

With the growing number of users online each day, I can't expect everyone to abide by old netiquette, and for those old folks still clinging desperately, get off it..

So you understand why these restrictions are there, yet you still think they're silly?  And there are trolls, bots, and  spammers/scammers hitting this board daily. You only have to wait 4 hours, so be patient.

Yes, I understand them. That's why you have moderators. You don't lock down an entire board for fear of one-two trolls. Really? Let's inconvenience many to stop few with lazy tactics. Not to mention I registered this account at 7PM CST last night. (Which by the way, just in case you can't count, was 12 hours ago.)

Don't mind me, just my 5 minute shit-post to authorize my access to the rest of the forums.  Cool

Don't you think mods have better things to do than look for spambots all day? They already take care of them when they find them. I'd suggest you just learn to live with the small inconvenience of the restrictions like everybody else does. Yes, they're annoying at first, but you'll soon get over them.

And you need to be actively browsing or posting for the time to count.

Hi guys,

As a lurker i thought this would be a good moment to introduce myself to the forums!
I got into Bitcoins earlier this year, because i work at the legendary De Waag, first cafe/restaurant in the Netherlands that accepted Bitcoins as an alternative payment option.

A very proud bitcoin owner here, and dedicated to hodl for years!

Are there many other places in Holland that accept Bitcoin? I heard about a Thai restaurant in Amsterdam. Any coffeeshops yet?  Grin

I am wating more then 4 hours myself  Shocked

You also need one post consisting of several sentences, so maybe that's why.

It took me ages to realise why I couldn't post on this forum - DUH!  Roll Eyes

Anyway, I'd like to think Litecoin will take off properly if it makes it onto MtGox. Doge and Peer might do well too.

You haven't used Gox, have you?

Seen spammers yesterdag and alot of people asking for admins.

I'd be happy to work for PrimeDice if you ever need any admins. I have some experience in Online Customer service too. I am also online from 10AM to early in the morning UK time  Smiley.

Oh, and crazyhouston I think you'll probably need to change your PD sig to one that is provided.

I wonder what the rules are on names. Could you not get sway with naming a baby Adolf Hitler, but I bet you might a lesser known dictator. I bet you could get away with Joe Stalin lol.

Or Pol Pott. There was a white supremacist in the US that named his kid Adolf Hiter: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2344459/Heath-Campbell-White-supremacist-named-son-Adolf-Hitler-dad-time-hoping-little-Eva-Braun.html

Just let everyone live where they wish.

Can I come stay in your house for free?

lol.. epic. For some people immigrants are Okay as long as they stay away from their neighborhoods.

Yeah, as long as they don't bother them. Funny how people complain at immigrants breaking the law or being a nuisance, but not their natives. It's simply just racism/misplaced hatred.

Just let everyone live where they wish.

+1111111

Can I come stay in your house for free?

There is a big difference you are ignoring:

My house = my private property

My country, my city, my quarter  = a big place were a lot of people live. Noone owns it.

But he said Just let everyone live where they wish. What if I wished to stay in his property for free? My point is, you have to be pretty naive and have little to no understanding of economics if you think you can let everyone go wherever they want without there being dire economical consequences.  You can't let almost unlimited amounts of people into your country to live, then give them houses and let them use the services and claim benefits etc all for free whilst not contributing anything themselves. This is my point.

the shortest joke ever : 2 women sitting quietly
I don't get it. Why is this fun?

It's playing on the stereotype that women can not sit still whilst remaining quiet.
17419  Other / Off-topic / Re: Taking the forum on a trip to Mexico! on: January 08, 2014, 12:16:52 PM
Well bitcoin provides an alternative to the ruling elite. In mexici, that just happens to be the cartel.

In the US it's the banks and War Machine. What's the difference? Guess who kills and steals more?

“I don't know what my IQ is. People who gloat about their IQ's are losers” - Stephen Hawking , December 2004

DID stephen hawking really say that? He doesnt seem the type to call a group of people losers.

No, it was a George Washington tweet from 1776.
