The fiat system is failing but bitcoin was always going to get paired/coupled with fiat. It’s how we’ve bought things & lived off for a long time now. It’s natural that it happened but obviously 1BTC = 1BTC and that won’t change. Let’s just be happy that we’re here & we found a way out of their inflationary slavery.

I’d sling a couple of grand in to a meme coin for sure. The thing is, the ones that exist currently might not be the best investment for the next bull cycle. They might have been exhausted of profit if you know what I mean. Definitely it’s a good idea to keep an eye out for whatever meme coins appear early in the next bull cycle though.

Anything under $20,000 is a gift, as long as you don’t have a short time preference in your investing then bitcoin is the best investment there is. Nothing else matches bitcoin, keep buying & stop worrying about short term price movements.

The only way this mess will be fixed is when fiat currency finally dies & the world is run on a bitcoin standard. That probably won’t be in our lifetime though. We can live in hope, every day is closer to the fiat ponzi scheme finally collapsing.

It’s nothing we haven’t seen before. People have been stealing money from organisations for centuries. A vulnerability was found & the funds were drained, this isn’t a reason for some mainstream news FUD though. The fiat banking system has had worse things than this for years.

I hate these type of bouts, it’s just about money, not the sport. Same with Floyd vs Connor & every Paul brother fight. These type of ‘fights’ are not boxing, they are theatre.

BSV is a massive, failed shitcoin with no future. Monero is a great concept but it can’t take off because big exchanges aren’t allowed to list it due to pressure from governments. It can’t grow because it won’t be allowed to.

My god, I can't stop laughing especially the part of kill himself since you are the Death Angel  . but you have said is true about monero back a couple of years ago monero is the best privacy coin I mean it still best to date until crypto gets regulated KYC/AML becomes necessary to some exchanges and major exchanges keep delisting it  and about craig wright I think is another person who wants to be famous if he real satoshi I don't know how many government agents will showed to him. last BSV nahhh I don't know what really purpose of this coin  with DeFi and seamless chain available all over the place Yeah it’s sad about XMR, I had high hopes for it. I’m actually still holding a bag, I don’t think it’ll ever see another ath. It’s been killed by first world governments pressure on exchanges for kyc etc which totally destroys the whole point of it. The altcoin market follows bitcoin, we should all be aware of that. When bitcoin pumps alts pump. The whole 4 year cycle is run by what happens with bitcoin.
I don’t think the bitcoin bottom is in yet so no, alts haven’t bottomed just yet.

First I heard of this news & I do agree that perhaps the thread should be moved to a more suitable thread. Regardless though, very sad news & I hope his family will be OK. This kind of news is not good & I hope the perpetrator is caught & hit with the full force of the law. |

Nobody who held bitcoin for over 5 years ever lost money on bitcoin. You shouldn’t invest money & expect to be really high in profit short term. Bitcoin works in 4 year cycles, even better if you can buy & not worry about price for 10+ years.

I used to play it all the time with my brother when we were younger. It’s one of the most iconic games of the last 10 years. Playing online is the best against RL players. I love talking smack to people when I kill them, I used to always be a pussy & hide away using a sniper rifle. Good times.

I know what the OP is saying but the bottom probably is not in. Obviously now is still a good time to buy but I still think we go lower. The macro global financial situation is really bad, bitcoin usually follows the bad news with down movements. If a recession is announced by major country govs we will dump.
DCA but hold some cash for likely big down moves.

Think about those people who use Alexa & Apple Home products. They’re even worse than Google, I don’t know why people use these type of things, it’s so bad for their privacy.

It'd be interesting to know how people find and analyse good long term projects that made insane profits. Can you list:
1. How you found the coin
2. Why you believed in the project
3. Why are you still holding or why you sold
I am not a millonaire yet but I bought HEX at $.05 about a year ago and sold at $.20. I thought a made a nice profit but HEX did another 2.5x.
I found HEX by watching a youtube channel and I believe in HEX because Richard Heart seems like a smart dude. I sold because I was dumb back then.
Don’t be too hard on yourself about selling. Any kind of profit is great & you should be happy that you made a really good one. You are never to know if a coin has reached its peak so any handsome profit is something to be happy about. |

The government like the status quo to remain unchanged. They don’t want everybody getting rich & having control of their own financial futures. It works for the government if everybody is in debt with loans, mortgages, credit cards. They don’t want you to be financially independent. They want you to rely on them, they like to earn huge interest % from money you borrow through them. Now is the time for you to change yours & your families future by taking control back, buy bitcoin & control your own money.
